Good service. Thorough. But if I pay for an AAA membership every year why is there a need - every single time - to get me to pay a premium to change my air filters (order them on Amazon and watch a YouTube video to do it yourself - its easy and will save you over half their cost). $175 for fuel injection treatment? Or..., $20 for STP. I understand. You have to get more than an oil change, but when I pay $119 a year to AAA for a platinum membership, forgive me for expecting platinum treatment.
I brought my car in for a diagnostic and for my air due to it not blowing cold. They did a thorough review of my vehicle, put freon in my car for the air and let me know what was going on with everything. After I left, I was sent an email/text of the full diagnostic with some pictures to show certain parts and information on what needs attention now and later. I cant say enough about the service. I was thrilled and very impressed by the detail and care they show about fixing my car. I will be using AAA more often.
Very thorough, incredibly kind staff. I went here for my state inspection and was blown away by the personal time and energy given to me to show all that was done. I wont go anywhere else for routine maintenance.
Honestly never had a better experience with car care. I came in with an AC blowing hot air and everyone was so friendly and helpful, and besides the repairs, took time to discuss with me exactly what had happened, why it happened, and how they were fixing it as well as break down cost beforehand. if you’re a woman/feminine you are likely familiar with being talked down to by mechanics, and this is the only place I’ve ever taken my car where I felt like they believed I knew what I was talking about and understood what they were talking about. But beyond that they’re just good people here to help. Mike helped me look for my keys when i was leaving the first time, actually came to my car with me to find them. They also recommended I get new tires and I made it clear I’d get them through a family friend’s place. Acknowledging that, they still followed up with me on it a week later when I picked up my car (oh, and they’d arranged a Lyft for me to get there) - I felt like they care about my car and my safety after I drive off, not just my money. Thanks for the help guys, my car is cold for the first time in a long time and I couldn’t be happier!
Excellent place for service. They want to keep your car running longer and dont want you to have issues.Its in their best interest for you not to break down. So they dont have to pay tow truck companies and such.
Long-time AAA member. Love this particular location - always attentive service, on time and reasonably priced. Today I stopped by to ask about replacing my brake lights. I had done it myself in years past, but, like everything else, its gotten way more complex. Garrett was kind enough to have me pull around and after a few minutes, I was on my way. Could not ask for better service. Garrett (and roger) were first class all the way. Kudos all around!
Best service department in Greensboro. Courteous, helpful and honest. Highly recommend them over dealerships. They don’t overcharge you or do unnecessary work.
The technician was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained everything well after the service and informed me of a couple of future issues, but didnt try to sell me things my car didnt require.

The folks are always friendly. I was a bit disappointed that I had made a 7:30am appointment, but since I didn’t wait in-house, I guess my priority-level was downgraded and my vehicle wasn’t ready for five-hours, despite just getting an oil-change and wheel alignment/balancing of tires.
They did an emissions check and also checked my tires for wear. They advised me to replace my front brake pads in a couple of months. Never informed me of other service needed that showed up during inspection.Went in for pads but got charged for a brake kit, pads and rotors.
Two times have I brought my vehicle in for repairs that took less than 10 minutes and thus were done for free. It is because of this shop that I am proud to be a AAA Member. These guys really will take your best concerns to heart and do what is right for both you and your vehicle. When I have needed more intense repairs, their prices have always been fair. Their professional atmosphere put the customer at ease while having the perfect location to have quality repairs done.
Honored the battery warranty so I got a new battery at no additional cost.

I always hate taking my car to the Kia dealership b/c they try to sell you things you dont need. But AAA has always been clear and upfront about what repairs I need. They dont overcharge, but they do give you straightforward options. This last time, I really appreciated Seans help and explanation of a few things I didnt quite understand. Great customer service but I strongly suggest checking your vehicle before you leave the shop.My experience is when I went in for an oil change. A few days later I notice my car was smoking under the hood. When I looked under the hood my oil cap was missing and I had oil all over my engine. I was also missing a couple of screws in a part they had to move when they were doing my oil change.After speaking with store manager, he apologize for my experience and rectified the problem. Because of their great customer service I would definitely recommend them but be sure to check the work before you leave.

My tail light had burned out and I was trying to replace it myself. I couldnt get the old bulb out of the socket to change it so I stopped by AAA for assistance. I got quick and efficient assistance in getting the bulb out. I was in and out within 5 minutes. They were very helpful and customer service oriented!

Every last one of these AAA car care centers are a rip off!! They have called me 4 DIFFERENT TIMES trying to raise the price over $300 EACH TIME. They went from $740 to $2000 then when I asked to speak to a manager all of a sudden the price went down to $608. Now they are saying the price is over $900. Why would you quote me a price 4 different times without doing your full due diligence to see what’s fully wrong with the car? A bunch of shiesters and frauders I will NEVER USE YOU ALL AGAIN IN LIFE. I WILL BE CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP AS WELL. If I could give all of these locations 0 stars I would. If there was a way to report price gouging I would.

AAA is always good. When they fix stuff it stays working.
They clearly describe what they are going to do and then follow through. They allow you to make an appointment and do their best to keep it.
Went to get maps and Trip Tiks for a trip. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.
Went there for notary service. Free for AA members even though I am not a Carolina AA member. Very pleasant and efficient service.

Best auto repair experience ever. Billy and his guys were the most helpful in explaining what all needed to be done to my truck, more than anywhere else I talked to. They worked with me when I couldn’t quite afford the repairs and had to leave it there for far too long. I will definitely be back with my other vehicles in the future.
Good service but not always fast. I appreciate that they are thorough but there is some upselling. They do a good job though. Oil changes are much cheaper than a dealership.
I like that they are friendly, do full diagnosis, and free rides through lyft. I dont like how every thing is expensive but i guess to get good quality service, you must pay more.
This is a great place all around!! It is especially great when you need to eat gluten free or are a vegan. The fried fish is gf and it is one of our favorites . I have been exploring their menu and they have yet to disappoint!! Go you will have a great time and you will love all the staff❤☃️🎄☃️❤

I was very impressed with this AAA! The staff are all friendly and attentive, informative without being pushy, and the center is clean and inviting. I love the amount of service you get for the great prices and the fact that all the prices are posted. You know youre going to pay the same price whether youre a car person or not, male or female. I also really liked that they send you pictures of everything that they do and of recommended work. I wound up getting a AAA membership and will be going back to them for oil changes and any other services I need. Its great to find an auto center I feel comfortable with!

Went in for the first time since COVID19 because they advertised they are CDC compliant. Not impressed. People came and went but I never saw anyone clean surfaces. The hand sanitizer was very runny and smelled weird. Floor was dirty and staff wore gloves but they never changed them. Had on masks. I didnt feel the inside of my car, (steering wheel, shifter, door handle) were wiped down before car was returned to me. I came prepared with my own wipes. This location is very convenient and I think they do good work. Ill continue to take my car here but hopefully wont have to again until this is all over. COVID19 is challenging for businesses.

My battery died and I got jumped off by AAA Roadside service. The tow truck driver suggested I go by the service center so I did. Mind you, this was Friday afternoon (9/13) at about 3:30. The battery was “boiling” - they replaced it at no charge. They were very busy but got to my car very quickly and I was back on the road by 4:45.
Awesome crew here. James and team are amazing. They will fix your vehicle right without you feeling like you are being taken advantage of.

Every time I go to this AAA location I always have a great experience. I don’t take my vehicles anywhere else because of the service I receive there. James and his team do a very good job getting you in and out. If I need to leave my vehicle there is always the shuttle service they provide. It’s always a pleasure going to this AAA location. And the technicians do a very good job repairing my vehicles and also giving my recommendations on further services I made need. Keep up the great work James. Willie the porter is always great. My gas pump went out and the part is a 400.00, and what they dont know is that I know they can get it for 350.00 but wanted to charge me 1200.00 please explain to me for what???
I have been a customer at this AAA location for more than 5 years.I must say that theyre consistently providing great service and prices.They really are honest and tell you exactly what needs repairs. Its not a gimmick and they dont rip you off like so many other garages. (There is one in the Golden Gate are on N Church st that rips off customers in my opinion. I will never ever go back there or recommend them to anybody)There is never any pressure to get you to repair anything at AAA and the staff is excellent. Theyre courteous, HONEST and will take the time to explain necessary work and help you decide on which repairs are needed urgently.My last visit was another example of the great service I received. Brian, the rep at the front desk explained their extend warranty service which they offer and includes older model cars. It was something that made absolute sense, offered by AAA and a warranty I welcomed on my car.In summation, I highly recommend this AAA location to anyone who is looking for great, reliable, professional quality service by HONEST and courteous people.
Revision of earlier review given last month in Jan. 2020....I have discovered that my car inspection was completed and reported correctly. There was a glitch in the system at DMV that caused it not to show up in the system.

WAIT! You tell me you still have people who care about their customers. Well Mr. Eddie Snead does. Long story short, I lived less than 10 minutes from the AAA location. For years, I never took my car to AAA because of the customer service was so bad. I would drive right passed it to another auto repair company right down the street. Well about 2 months ago, I had to get my car towed to the Pisgah Church location and this were I met Mr. Snead. In just a few minutes, I knew something was different about the staff; more smiles and a willingness to help. I asked the question, Are you guys under new management? and the response was “things are going to be better now”. And man they were right.But this is not why I am writing this review. I am writing because my car was having problems and I was getting ready to leave to go to a marriage retreat. I was going to rent a car because I just knew no one would have time to look at my car plus repair it because of the lateness of the hour. Not only did Mr. Snead and his wonderful staff had my car ready when he said, the price was affordable as well. So Mr. Snead, because of you, I have wiped my slate cleaned with AAA Auto Service and because of you Mr. Snead, I have made your location my number one auto service provider. And yes I will and I have recommended your location to my friends, family and my Christians In The Marketplace Ministry.Thanks Mr. Eddie Snead for bring back good customer service to AAA.

Awesome experience! If I could change anything it would be not waiting for the shuttle as long (the driver walked out while I was standing in line waiting for someone to come in and when he came in he answered the phone and scheduled an appointment vs addressing the people that were in line before the phone started ringing). The driver had to go to the back and let him know that we were standing in line...
Please give Antonio Sanchez a raise. He helped me outside of his job and was so nice. I had to let everyone know how kind he was. He went out of his way to help me and I’m so grateful for him!

AAA serviced my Toyota Camry due to engine missing in aug 2018. Coiles and plugs were the recommended so they did the work. Now .less than 15 months later, two after-market coils have failed and rice has recommended all coils and plugs be replaced. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TOYOTA TO AAA.. BTW, the cooling system AAA replaced needed to have the hoses tightened due to leaks . Rating less than one star.
Worst experience ever. We received a postcard in the mail for $10 off an oil change that included tire rotation and full system check. I made an appointment for 11 AM to have my truck serviced. I was told that it would take about an hour and a half to get everything done. The truck wasnt seen for almost a full hour. Then it took them 2 hours to do the oil change. As for the tire rotation, they made the decision not to do it. No call, no consultation, just their decision. When I picked up my truck, they couldnt even tell me what they did/checked on my truck. Asked for paperwork and they just walked away. My truck runs rougher now then before. I have no idea what they did or even if they did a good job. To top it off, they left my truck unlocked in the parking lot. Horrible treatment of my vehicle and my request for service. You would do better to take your vehicle anywhere but here.
Had a battery replaced. They did a good job. Ford Escape is not the easiest one to replace.I have been in twice with my Nissan Sentra. First time for a cooling system flush. They said I needed front brakes and the mechanic took pictures so I could see it. Took it back for the brakes and everything was done correctly and professionally.

Be reading for a 1hr and 45 minute wait for oil changes. Otherwise they do a good job with oil changes.
Battery died on me after 38 months of use AAA replaced it for free.
I asked can a MECHANIC look to see why smoke coming from under the hood?Service guy says u have a oil leak. Thats why. Okkaay so fix it.Nah! Just get a detailer to clean your engine/spray it off.I dont think thats gonna resolve a oil leak sir.Not once but twice have i been throwed under the bus by AAA

Usually I’d sing praises for this AAA car care location. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years. However, something has changed and they need to fix it. I’ve been waiting for a call back for the last four days. I’ve called everyday since Saturday about an update on a part I’m waiting for. Each time, someone says, they will check on the status and give me a call right back. No such call ever comes. Please fix it or I will be going somewhere else.
I went in for them to replace an intake hose. I set this appointment up on Monday for Saturday. I even explained to the guy that set my appointment that my I needed my intake hose replaced. Because my check engine light was on they automatically charge 99.95 for them to run their own diagnostic test. Even though I already had this performed and only needed them to replace the intake hose they stated they had to run their own diagnostic test for “liability” reasons or they wouldn’t look at my car. I said ok whatever but if you get the same code I want to see the machine you use that cost 99.95 for the same issue. After waiting 2 hours the lady comes back out and shows me a picture of what I already had seen and stated they were looking for the part but couldn’t find it. Another 30 minutes Derek Tolbert comes to talk to me with a stank attitude explaining they couldn’t find the part and had to order it from the Honda dealership. My appointment was at 9am for what I thought was a simple intake hose replacement, I asked why wasn’t this ordered Monday when I set the appointment his reply was I’m just getting back from “on vacation” so I can’t tell you what someone else did. He also said they don’t order parts until they run their own diagnostic. I said but if that’s what I told you when I came in why didn’t you all make sure you had the part. He stated again I’m just getting back from vacation and they didn’t document that when you set you appointment. Long story cut short He was rude and shouldn’t be working the front to assist with customer service. On top of that they tried to charge me labor and parts for something they didn’t fix. I always go to this location for anything and after being a member for 6years i am highly disappointed in the customer service I received today. If I could give them zero stars.

The service and professionalism of the staff, the transparency of the results of my diagnostics and the speed at which service was provided were all excellent.
AAA seems to have less and less maps and material about foreign countries. Luckily the roadside assistance is still good.
This is the shop I go to the most. Everyone is always friendly, helpful, and informative. They never condescend. They explain everything clearly so that I, a non-car person, can understand. I highly recommend them.
Yesterday I had a 10 a.m. appointment to get my car inspected. Checked in as usual, left my car and went with a friend to do some errands. After 1 1/2 hrs. I called to see if vehicle had been inspected. I was told it would be about 30 mins. more. At 12:00 I arrived at AAA and saw my vehicle, thinking it had been inspected. I was about to go inside and a young man came out and got vehicle ( this was 12:15. I was lied to) At almost 1:00 pm I went inside and asked why it was taking 3 hrs. to get my car inspected. I was getting all this talk about DMV computers being down, etc. I finally said that DVM was not down for 3 hrs. Service at desk is very poor and did not abide by an appointment. HOWEVER, repairs, etc. is very good. That is why the 3 stars. Checking in and out I would only give 1 star.
Bait and Switch Experience. Decided to take my car in for an oil change after getting a mailer advertising $19.99 for oil change. The cost was $91.00 after arguing the bait and switch add. Like many things that are advertise, CUSTOMER BEWARE! Thank you AAA for ruining your own reputation of a great brand. You are not to be trusted again.
