I have to be honest! I’ve been purchasing tires and having them serviced from Hall Tire my entire adult life and appreciate the work they have done for me and my family. As the Director of a local nonprofit I know I can trust our equipment to get taken care of at Hall Tire and happy they are able to help Tiny House Community Development take care of its auto needs. On April 17, 2021 my mother went to Hall Tire and Battery Co. to get new tires and she brought brand-new sensors to be installed. She spoke to Josh that briefed her for a new set of tires (she has one size for the front and another size for the back.) for the front it was $222, the back was $250, and for the sensor to be installed it would be free. The total would have been $472 + taxes. Once she arrived for service and it was completed the total was changed to $1,050. She was shocked because this was not the total discussed. Associate Von informed her,“that price was never told to her, the new price stands, the company would never sell for that reduced of a price.” Von asked if she wanted to continue the service and my mother wasnt expecting to offer this increased price. She wanted the old tires to be put back on. She was willing to at least pay for the sensor installment since they were already stationed which was $64.05. Once she obtained her car back, she noticed the tires didnt look like her original tires. She asked where were the original tires that she came with, they continued to reputedly lie and say these were hers.Once she left, she went to work. She came out to her tires almost being deflated. She rode to the gas station to obtain more air in the tires. She went to a store to come back out to notice that they were almost flat again. She forcibly stopped at a tire place to check and merely perceive what was wrong with these tires. They told her one of the tires was completely bad, and she shouldn’t be driving on it. Lets remember that the original tires she had on the car before were absolutely fine; these were the false tires that Hall Tire and Battery Co. put on. Now she has to pay $50 for a used tire. I’m indeed delighted she didnt enter the highway because something could have happened to her and Hall Tire and Battery Co. would have been responsible. Once she woke up the next morning, the vehicle had two flat tires. Then scarcely noticed that one of the false tires from Hall Tire and Battery Co. had a date of 12/30/2019. I am a witness that the original tires obtained before had no writing on them at all. She called Hall Tire and Battery Co. and asked if she could receive a refund because even her sensors had begun not to read correctly. In the present climate we retain two services that were not done right. The manager said he wasnt solely going to provide her money back just from her word. She had pictures and everything. The manager told her they would send someone out to see if she was telling the truth. My mother had already set an appointment with Baity’s Tire to secure what Hall Tire and Battery messed up.Once Hall Tire and Battery Co. arrived, Associate Jimmy made new excuses for their mistakes and only put 40% of air in her tires. Meanwhile, Jimmy said that the brand-new sensors were not more likely preprogrammed. (You will hear this in the video.) He suggested this being the reason the tires were going flat. They however wanted her to bring the car back to Hall Tire and Battery Co. to now place valve stems inside the tires because the brand new sensors she brought were no longer good. He even asked her if she had tools to help him do his job. I told her not to go because I was afraid they were going to do more damage to her car.You will also see once she got to Baity’s Tire they found 3 errors of what Hall Tire and Battery Co. did wrong. These are the following errors:1. TPMS sensor installed wrong.2. TPMS gasket on wrong.3. Air leaks around the stem.(Pictures of evidence provided below.You will also see where she purchased the sensors from and it shows that they are “PRE-PROGRAMMED” and they are for her model car.)I have posted the pictures and recording to forewarn you to not GO TO HALL TIRE AND BATTERY CO. If something would have happened to my mother, I wouldn’t know what to do. They love portraying themselves as being the victim when they remain wrong. My mother deserves a refund. I will be reaching out to WFMY 2 News and WGHP FOX 8 News about Hall Tire and Battery Co.

Awesome place, quick…great work. Went to another local shop, was told I needed inner tie rods. I’m a mechanic as well, just not in a shop anymore. I got the car home and looked at the tie rods, perfectly fine. I took it to hall tire, never a mention of an issue with the tie rods. Got me lined up, when I need work done that I don’t have the equipment for, I’ll def be coming here.

Fair prices, very professional also very busy so they don’t really make appointments you call them get your order ready and some things you have to show up and pay ahead of time. Make a general day that you show up and it’s first come first serve.. so make plans to drop off or wait and it will be a while, but they will give you a ride !! I’m not sure if they will pick up up ?? But really good business!!!

Was told to be here at 1pm for alignment and it’s first come first serve. I show up 5 minutes early and the bay is empty but 10 minutes later another old clunker pulls in and 2hrs later I’m still waiting!!!! First come is bull $hitt.

Ok place to go, almost impossible to get an alignment because they don’t do appointments. I just got new tires put on today and one was leaking because they never cleaned the bead off before mounting the tires. Went flat in a couple of hours. The bubbles in pic linked is where the leak was coming from, there was a bunch of dirt in the bead they never cleaned out.(Edit): just going to clarify this was not my first experience, I have been going to hall tire for years before. Not anymore.

OK. So I had 4 new tires put on my car on Friday 09, 2021. Being that this is a car that i rarely drive, i drove it home and parked it. Late the next day, I noticed that on one side of the car was a small dent with scratches as if someone recklessly bumped a piece of equipment into the side of my rear door. I continued to observe the other side of the car and what did I discover, even MORE scratches located on top of the real wheel car mold. Now I could not call Hall at that time in that they were closed and would not open up until Monday. So I call on Monday, the guy that answered listen to my issue and was by no means empathetic to my issue. There was no Im sorry that this happened no I understand your frustration.. and even if there is a policy that says that says that they are not responsible for any damage they cause, there was not even a Im sorry to hear that but out policy is... Nothing. Call me quirky, but I work hard and when I go to a professional establishment I expect for the services to be rendered correctly and my property to be returned to me without damage. So, I ask the guy if they would reimburse me for a touch up paint pen (not even addressing the dent they put on my vehicle) and was told NO, we dont normally do things like this. It is clear to me that this establishment does not believe in the Make every customer a repeat customer philosophy. I mean I just spent approx. 870 with you and was going to return at a later date for an alignment but...Now, obviously this is not an establishment that cares about me, my property, my future business or the business of both my friends and my collogues (I add friends and colleagues in that, best believe I have already told them of my experience, and surprisingly enough many of them have had negative experiences with Hall tire as well, how about that) ..And this is supposed to be a family owned and run business.. If you consider doing business with these people, please DO NOT. please take your business to people that care about your business, your property, and does what it can to right any wrongs should they occur. Hall tire should be ashamed of themselves all this because you damaged my vehicle and I only asked for reimbursement for a 20 dollar touch up pen, I could have asked for more but that is not the type of consumer I am. DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM !!! Go... RUN!!!!

Wonderful people, great service and prices

Service was friendly. They worked me in at lunchtime to repair a slow leak in tire. Took longer than expected, but they were very busy with lots of customers at the time. They got my tire patched and it has been fine since. Overall a very good experience.

Hall tire is everything you want from a tire shop. They communicate clearly, work quickly, and charge fairly. The only place I take all my vehicles for tire/alignment work.

Great guys up there, even though they are really busy during this time with the epidemic, they hustle and try their best to get you in and out. I advise to go in early when they open at 7:30am and get a ticket in. You either will wait for a little bit or next day service can be done if left there. Please dont get upset over how busy they are. They do great work and take pride in their work too. I was out within 3hrs and thats with a bit of people ahead of me. Have no complaints at all. I understand some places are more busy than others due to being closed. Just make sure you prepare yourself with time and patience with them. Satisfied customer.

Great service. I blew a tire on truck while hauling my skidsteer. It was late in day when I pulled in around closing. Josh got right to me. They had a tire that would get me and my equipment home that night and Josh ordered the ones i needed that night and had them next day. Great and professional service. I had a flat on a trailer when I was passing through town. They had a tire in stock and got me out the door in about an hour. Great service, fast and reasonable!

I was recommended to this shop for skid steer tires. They replaced the tires but not in the time they said. I didn’t worry too much about this. Got them home and noticed they had replaced a stem. The problem is they put in a stem that stuck way out and would certainly get smashed instantly. I talked to the owner who was only willing to offer an apology for me having to bring the wheel back. He offered me a discount on a future purchase but unfortunately I cannot risk coming back to a business who would send my tire out like this. I will not be returning. I hate having to give a poor review but this could have cost a lot of money if I had not caught it.

Such a positive, smooth, and reassuring experience.Had a leak in my tire. Took it to Firestone. They patched it. Two weeks later I woke up to a flat tire. Took it back for a check and they told me they couldn’t fix it and said I needed all four tires replaced. Now-if that were the case, why wasn’t I told that prior to me coming back?Called Hall Tire and explained the situation. The guy I spoke with was extremely real. Straight to the point. Very educated. Beyond polite. He told me he could fix it and if not, he would have me a brand new tire the next day. He didn’t ask my name or anything about me or my vehicle but when I got there, he knew exactly who I was which was extremely impressive. Although they were closing in less than an hour, they didn’t turn me away. I stayed past closing but I’m okay with that when I’m receiving quality work.They took extremely good care of me. The customer service was on point. I definitely won’t be going anywhere else ever again. Not to mention you can’t beat their prices. Thank you guys so much for all of your help!!

Took car in for an inspection. Theyve done a good job in the past. Wouldve given them a 5 star but I was disappointed the employees working directly with the customers werent wearing masks or face coverings. They did have 6 feet distances with seating & floor marked for waiting.

I have been coming here the last couple of months. I don’t live in Greensboro but I work here once a week. I came on a busy Tuesday and there was a miscommunication in my request of service. I called back and they were so polite and kind; they told me to return tomorrow and they would correct it. So on my day off I drove the hour drive back to the shop and was in immediately to get the issue corrected. Josh is amazing and super professional! Hall Tires definitely has a returning customer in me!!

Went in to see Phil after a bad experience at another truck tire shop. He took a personal interest and personally oversaw the operation. After 4 failed visits to the other shop to get tires to stop leaking at tire valve stem, Phil got it done right the first time. In two hours and half the price! They are the best!

Dropped car of tire light was on I thought I had a nail in my tire approximate charge about 30.00 me said I will call after acouple hours I called to check my car they said your car is ready they replaced 3 sensors in my tires at 70.00 each that was messed you they should have called me first thank God I had the money l was expecting a nail repair charge

Very helpful and prompt service. I cut my tire on I40 and pulled into their business. Despite that my tire was under Ford warranty and they were extremely busy they inspected the tire and put my donut on. With a very minimal service charge. My wife and I are very grateful. Excellent service!

The workers there are very friendly. However, I got four NEW tires and two of them tires went flat in less then 48hrs. I had to return TWICE before they got it right. I dont think Ill be returning. I cant trust them.

Ive been coming here for tires and services that they offer since 2013. Excellent, consistent, and gracious service. Its really appreciated.

Best prices on tires period.... Ive spent hours calling other places to check prices over the years. Hall tire is always lower than anywhere else. Sometimes only by a little bit, but they are always lower. The employees are fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They only charge for work done. Took my new car there for a rotate and balance. Only two tires needed balancing so they only charged for two even though they checked all four! Never had a service center do that! If you need new tires, a flat repair, etc, give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

First time at Halls and I am very impressed. Very courteous, and polite. I got a very reasonable price on my tires and when i got home and checked tires they were at correct pressure and more importantly the lug nuts were all at the proper torque specs. I will be recommending Halls to all my friends and family.

I found out today that they will put on new 22.5 tire on your trailer for $330. Thats a good price installed.Theres not much room there for a truck and trailer though.

Honest family owned business. Have heard from multiple people that they have best, fairest prices around. They normally have rebates on sets of tires too. They are almost always busy, but that was expected hearing how people spoke of the service. There was a lady waiting in the lobby with me who said she had been coming here since she got her first car in 1970 something. I highly recommend this place and if you have a problem, they will fix it!

My first experience was a few months ago. I was looking to have a front end alignment done, front brakes and new tires so I looked for places through Google. After reading the reviews I chose Hall Tire. Josh and his guys did a great job at a good price and talked to me all through the process.Today I went back to have the rear brakes replaced expecting to have to pay from $200 to $300 dollars. Josh came to me and asked me to come out into the garage to look at my brakes. Once in the garage he showed my brakes compared to the new ones. He and his mechanic both told me they did not feel my brakes needed replacing. Most places would have just replaced the brakes, charged me for it and sent me down the road. The mechanic spent about an hour taking everything apart and putting it back together. When Josh told me they were finished with my truck I asked how much I owed and was told I owed nothing. I even tried to pay them for their time and Josh would not accept it. I live in north Greensboro and have no less than 5 tire shops within 4 miles of my house but I will gladly pass them up and continue to go to Hall. Other businesses could learn from Josh, Jimmy and the folks at Hall about customer relations.

These guys are awesome!... One of my tires was loosing pressure very slowly... Long story short, They were able to repair in only 18 minutes (In and Out) what MR Tire wouldnt do considering I bought from them a full set of tires 5 months ago. They wanted me to buy a NEW tire!.. Imagine!!!???
