Short Version:In my experience, Holland conducts business with honesty, has expert staff, and their prices are reasonable. Now that I’ve found them, I won’t be taking my car anywhere else.Long Version:My 2015 Honda sprung a transmission leak after only 44K Miles (Thanks Honda! Great Job!) The search for a repair shop ended up in the usual, annoying mishmash of opinions and pricing. They ranged from “need to replace the transmission” to “Don’t worry about it. This is normal.” HA?! And prices were, of course, all over the map too.I decided to try Holland based on the Google reviews. In the process, I discovered their reviews are well-deserved. Mike listened to my “Internet diagnosis,” without being dismissive. He then told me that while the internet may be right, he thought the problem was likely with the pressure sensor. His opinion was based on the visual inspection of the top of the transmission, as in the car was not on a lift and he could not see the lower part of the transmission. Harrison inspected the transmission after putting it up on the lift but there was too much fluid leakage to really tell where it may have originated. So they cleaned the bottom of the car, and had me drive around for a while. Once I returned, they put it up again and this time Harrison confirmed the leak was from the pressure sensor. The part was not available, they ordered it and I came back the next day. The put up the car again and fixed it.That was Thursday. Today, Monday, I went back and Kelly inspected the car to make sure there were no other problems. There weren’t. They didn’t charge me for today’s inspection.I appreciate their expertise, honesty, and making sure the repairs were done right the first time.They made a repeat customer out of me.

Scott and his team are great! I have reached out to Scott numerous times at a moment’s notice because of unexpected car trouble (transmission problems, check engine lights, getting rear ended, etc.) and he has always been able to work me in within a couple of days. (Several times in the same day.) The team will take the time to clearly explain to you what is the issue is if you ask. The prices have been fair. Very pleased with the service that they have provided.

Holland Auto Care is THE place to take your vehicles. Scott runs a top notch business. He treats his customers with respect, honesty, and integrity. He charges fair pricing and does top notch work. He also employs some great technicians. (Travis and Chris are the ones Ive personally dealt with, great guys). I taken my vehicles here for everything. A/C diagnosis and repair, Engine diagnosis and repair, brakes, etc. You name it, they do it. Ive taken my vehicles here for years and will continue to do so.

Good service, fair price, great staff. Kind of overflowed and overworked, as well as the vibe isn’t amazing, but Scott will make sure you get what you need and that you get a fair price. The missing star is just the general vibe and for just a little too much seemingly money over matter care. Obviously not perfect, and I certainly would recommend if you have a lot of time and general knowledge of what you need and the ability to get your own parts.

Scott Holland and his entire shop are absolutely amazing! They saved me a $1000 repair by ausing a simple fix. I had gotten 2 quotes from other shops for $1000 and $2000. Scott fixed it for $25. Talk about honesty and trust, I am a customer for life! Thank you Holland Automotive!

Holland auto care has been taking care of a fleet of my vehicles for a few years now and I couldn’t be any happier with the work they they do. With my vehicles being used for business, it is important to me that my auto care company doesn’t miss appointments. Every time I bring in my vehicles, they get everything taken care of, don’t try to up sell me on things I don’t need and make sure my vehicles are running at peak performance. I heard about Holland Auto from a friend. I needed the AC in my car fixed. I called several places and Holland had the BEST price. Stormy had excellent customer service. She went above and beyond to help myself and my mom who was dropping off my car for me. They took her to and from work while I had her car. They made us feel like we were first priority. Had a stuck thermostat and issues overheating. Dropped it off and went to breakfast and it was finished within an hour. Repair was fast and seems to have solved the issue. Will return for any future issues.

Inspected two used cars for me during the buying process. They spotted that the first one had been in an unreported wreck and had shoddy work done on the hood. Saved me from buying a lemon. You can tell theyre good, honest people who love what they do. I highly recommend.

This was my first experience with Holland Automotive and I was so pleased. They saved me over $200. Two other car service places quoted me $250-$300 to replace the front driver blinker. Holland charged me $44!! I am new to the Greensboro area so feel fortunate that I have now found a mechanic that wont take me to the cleaners. Nice to work with honest, reputable people. I will highly recommend them to others.

Inspection was quick however the customer service leaves much to be desired. The lady at the desk vanished and I was left standing there for more than 20 minutes to pay and they left my keys in my ignition, car running with the door open while o was waiting to pay. I had to go physically retrieve my keys and shut my car off... Anyone could have literally walked up and drove off with it.

Most trustworthy mechanics Ive ever used. I recommend them whenever possible. They will not take advantage of anyone-- man,woman, or teen. Quality work done and they go above and beyond if necessary.... I know!! They do seem constantly busy and their lot is on the small side so I recommend parking next door at the Hess station, they dont mind going over to get it when they are ready to do the job.

Got a tip from my oil change shop after the engine light came on....go see Scott Holland.They fixed the problem right away, tested the car to make sure (I know emission messages can be tough) and charged me a reasonable fee.When you see how crowded their lot is you know they must be doing something right.

My car had a check engine light. The diagnosis was a engine misfire due to a failing ignition coil. I also found out I needed fuel maintenance, a new air filter and spark plug. They had me in and out in less than two hours. The price was almost 300 bucks lower than any other place in Greensboro. They were friendly to boot. Highly recommended!

Scott and the team at Holland Auto Care saved our family vacation. While traveling from Raleigh to the NC mountains for a long planned camping trip our AC went out in Greensboro, it was 95 degrees that day and the trip would have been miserable without it. We showed up at 3:30 in the afternoon and they were busy, but they recognized the situation and were able to get right to work on the AC, hoping to get us on the road in a few hours. As happens, the repairs were a bit more complicated than we had hoped, but Scott and Travis stayed until well past closing time to help us out, they then came in early the following day to receive a new part and continued working to get us back up and running. We were on the road by 11:00 AM and were able to make good on our family camping trip. We were in a tough spot and they took good care of us. Scott, Travis and the entire Holland team were honest and straightforward with us throughout the process, and the AC is colder than ever, Id definitely recommend them any time.

I have been a customer of Holland Auto Care Center for a number of years through multiple vehicles. I have always been treated courteously and do not trust my vehicles with anyone else. In the past I was even assisted with a loaner vehicle when mine wasnt ready. My vehicles are older and they have helped keep them running like new! Parking is an issue but they always have helped me (and others as I was waiting) with the logistics of navigating tight spaces. I have referred them to numerous people over the years and will continue to do so.

I am a college student living in Greensboro. I have an old truck that Ive nearly completely restored myself. Ive done basically all the engine work myself, and know my way around tools, and especially my own vehicle. I was having some problems with it and didnt have the time to do the repairs for myself so I brought the truck to them. Before doing so I ran the codes letting me know what was wrong according to the computer. I called about 20 minutes before I arrived. Once I got there I stood for 4 or 5 minutes in the shop before anyone acknowledged my presence. Eventually I was approached and I explained the problem and told him it was on an old truck. He immediately assumes its something simple, and goes out in the shop telling everyone well it just needs a tune up. He said this multiple times while I was trying to explain the symptoms. I know that it wasnt in need of a tune-up because I had just done one myself a few weeks beforehand. Without asking to see the truck himself or saying he would get to it he just walks off. I was in a hurry because I had to be at work but after 15 minutes of standing there waiting for a well take a look at it or well be with you in just a minute I approach him again and hes still convinced theres no problem with the truck (he STILL hasnt even seen it yet). It was 30 minutes before I left without having anything fixed.

Mr Holland and staff are amazing. The staff explain everything that is being done to your car so that you understand. I am so Thankful for the staff and confident that when my cards worked on, I know its really fixed. Kudos to Holland Auto.

Today was my first visit and all i can say is WOW the guys are so friendly & they take care of you. Keep you company while your car is getting fixed so you’re not sitting in the room staring at the walls. Very clean shop and EXTREMELY reasonable prices. Scott knows what he’s doing. Had to go back to this place more than 2 times before getting my vehicle looked at. All times were even with appointments. On the side, they rarely picked up the phone and never called back. At least 20 calls were given in a week and zero response.I then took my vehicle to another location and was helped right away. They diagnosed and took my vehicle in, in less than 20 hours. I also learned my vehicle had a different issue then the one HAC had diagnosed.Even though warranty covered my costs, I am glad I did not have to go through with such high misdiagnosed costs and this facility.Thank you Holland!

Nothing but Very please with each situation I have had at Scotts. His mechanics have a vast amount of different specialist knowledge from working on my BMW to working on my 1990 Ford F-250 4/4 work truck. When asked by friends about where to take their vehicles. I send them to Scots..... they all have told me they were glad they found his Shop.

I was having car problems for well over two weeks and had spent 700 dollars at another mechanic before I finally decided to give Holland Auto a chance. It turned out that I needed a new engine. Holland Auto found an engine online, ordered it, and installed it with SUPERIOR customer service, always keeping me updated, working me in an already busy work schedule so that I would not be stranded (my car is the only means of transportation I had). I cant say enough good things. HIGHLY recommend!

Liars! I went and called and let them know 40 minutes before closing that I would be there and they said it was okay for me to come and get a simple inspection! Got there and the inspector LIED to my face and said that HE was GONE. He kept this lie up until his coworker, the one I spoke to on the phone, told me that he was in fact the inspector. VERY rude and VERY Dishonest. It wasn’t even closing time ! Auto inspection takes NO time at all. I recommend no one going to this place !! Pathetic customer service. Inspector even caught an attitude and tried to belittle me.

Not knowing that my previous mechanic had moved out and Hollands Auto moved into the location on Spring Garden, I took my vehicle in for some brake work I knew I needed of course him and his team found more things wrong but boy am I glad they did my axel and control arm were both in bad shape. Seeing as I only get paid once a month and I need my car for work Scott worked within my budget and helped me to fix the most important things first. I will be returning next month for the other fixes, but the service was great. the internet wasnt even on at the location and the shop was packed, but he still got my car worked in. I truly appreciate everyone at Hollands Auto they took great care of me and I look forward to using them for years to come!!

I had a damping door actuator go bad on F150..... Call the Ford dealer and they had labor at a full day to replace the part (insert BIG $$$). They were just supposed to replace my axel for about $200 but decided they wanted to replace both of my control arms also for $800 without asking me first. And they dented the hood of my car and left the nut off of my tire and didnt screw in 3 bolts all the way and they didnt align my tires after fixing them even though I was charged for it. And they left all their crap in my car.

Low beam headlight wasnt working on my 2007 Acura MDX. Front bumper has to come off to fix it. Acura dealer said to replace everything (ballast, bulb and igniter) would be $1200. I bought a ballast and igniter for $60 off Ebay, paid Holland for labor at $150, and saved $990. Still a pretty big amount for a low beam headlight fix, but car will pass inspection and grateful for the savings.

Ive been a huge fan of Hollands Auto Care since about 2005. I was working for a local towing company and was tasked with dropping off a car at Hollands. Thats the day I met the great Mr Charles Holland and I was sold man. Im from the country so finding a shop with such a small town feel in the city was hard to come by. Towing cars over the years Ive watched Scott Grow into his fathers role and trust and believe folks it was a bumpy ole dirt road to say the least. Watching Scott allow customers to pay me what you can and get me the rest later or calling me because one of his customers had broken down and asking me to try and hurry its hot out or maybe the customer wasnt in the best of area and him asking me to try and be quick to pick them up from the side of the road. Folks these phone calls from him came 24 hours Every Single day. Ive towed for every shop in town folks and your not gonna find a more genuinely good guy to deal with. Never known either Mr Hollands to not make something right when needed. I see some bad reviews on here from well mostly younger folks and thats sad. Sad that the younger generations dont know how to resolve such simple issues without such negativity. Someone said they had to wait over 15 minutes. Guess they didnt see scott answering that phone actually multiple phones that never stop ringing. Remember if you have to wait that he is always helping someone else that needed him too. People love to monday morning quarterback as they say. Now screw those 2 line reviews you folks might see took me a few minutes to type this up but sometimes you just gotta step up and disagree with a few folks on their reviews. Totally inaccurate. If your looking for a good honest shop, folks you found one in the Hollands. 10+

This was, by far, the worst experience Ive ever had with an auto shop. The repair took almost 9 weeks, some of the staff was rude and unprofessional, they charged more than they quoted. After finally getting my car back it is now leaking oil from 2 places where it wasnt when I dropped it off. After a problem with the bill I was verbally assaulted by one of their employees.I will say that the owner agreed to the amount that he originally quoted me after some arguing and that the lead mechanic was easy to deal with. I was also given a loaner car.I now feel uncomfortable ever visiting this shop again so Im apparently out of luck with the leaks. And as of this writing, I have found more leaks and the check engine light is now on.

CROOKS!!!.....I needed a fuel pump replaced because my car was not starting, and I already had the part, they just needed to put it in. I am somewhat familiar with cars, but did not have the tools to tackle the job. I take it in and they replace the pump, but claim it is still not starting. They said it might be my spark plugs and they looked flooded, which is impossible, as I had no fuel pressure, because the fuel pump wasnt working! When I called them out on that they said Uh, I dont know, you got me there, im just telling you what I see They then tell me it will be $80 in labor to change the spark plugs. $80? That job takes less than 5 min. I get to the shop to find out that they had taken my old spark plugs out, and left my car outside. I ask them to put my OLD plugs back in, and they did. Took about 3 min. Although I did not watch him do it. Next thing I know I go to start the car, and it starts juust fine with the old spark plugs, but the engine was immediately reving up full blast as if I were flooring it from the start. I turn the car off, and look under the hood, to see what the crooks have done to prevent me from driving, and after 30 min, I realize they have disconnected the throttle body hose from the air filter box. That is something they had NO reason touching when fixing my fuel pump, or taking out my spark plugs for that matter (which I did not ask them to do). I think the fat bald one, when putting my plugs back in, decided to yank that hose, to cause another problem, because HE KNEW when he put the old plugs back in, it would work. The whole time I am trying to figure out the issue, that never should of risen from replacing a fuel pump, these crooks just stood around as if I was never there. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IN EVERY WAY THEY CAN. THEY ARE CROOKS, AND ARE GUARANTEED TO CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS.
