Absolutely terrible customer service. The lady working the front desk was extremely rude. I figured if that is how they treat people before they are customers I doubt they would do much better after they got my business.

First lady at front desk tried to trick me out my consciousness and tell me they had a $50,000 scan took that nobody in this side of the galaxy had, and their technicians went to school every week🤣😂. Long story short when their technician that wasnt there when I called early (probably at school) finally called me back tried to tell me it could be TWO diagnostic fees one for check engine light one if he had to look at wheel sensor...LEAVE THESE PEOPLE ALONE GO TO HOT RIDES & COOL CARS he is very knowledgeable used to teach mechanic school very fair and reasonable very thorough on diagnostics and fixing the problem

Overpriced!They do not honor the alleged warranty! Quick to physically threaten by surprise!

DO NOT COME HERE!! They charged me 150 for a diagnostics test and try to charge me 800 to change an air filter. Went somewhere else for a free diagnostic checks and 30 air filter change. Robbers. Also the old lady at the front desk yelled at me when I was inquiring the price. They are crooked please be aware

These are my complaints against Jay Dalton Auto Tech.Please read all the way through as I do not want these things to happen to anyone else.I have listed them from 1-9, least to greatest, ending on the most egregious incident:1. Took them 5 days to start working on my car.2. Leaving my car unlocked outside after the place was closed.3. She said the locksmith chose not to show up.4. I didnt feel heard at all when I voiced my complaints about the service. (I asked for compensation because I was displeased about the service)5. She became irate and would not serve me as a customer even after I said I would leave it there. (I asked her, if I leave my car here, can they deduct $100 from my $450 service charge)6. She said I needed to just go and take my car somewhere, she didnt care where, just as long as I go. She said she would get my car towed if I didnt leave. She said I was trespassing.7. I was leaving the auto shop to my car, to call AAA, and she knew i was leaving, but called the police anyway.8. She gave a false statement to the police saying I told her to give me money (after reflecting on this, was she implying that I was trying to rob her? I only asked if they could pay for my towing, because AAA wouldnt and asked me to ask them).9. She called the police on me and gave a false statement saying I mounted against her (She was saying I placed a physically, threatening stance against her).

Always a great experience everytime I have any car trouble. These guys here sure can take a grim situation and shine some light on it. Quick and to the point. Now playing around when it comes to auto repair here. The head tech is always calling before I even think on it to give me a good news update. Actually very happy this review choice popped up. I just dropped off my car yesterday evening when the radiator blew. It will be done in the morning. Words cant describe the amazing service I receive every single time.

I live in Raleigh but my son is a college student in Greensboro. His car would not crank so I decided to have his car towed to Jay Dalton Auto Tech. After some thought, it occurred to me that maybe his car is just out of gas, however, the tow truck had already taken the car so I could not explore this option. I immediately called up to the shop and spoke to a young lady and explain to her the situation. She informs me the car hasnt arrived at the shop yet, but I tell her its on the way. I then tell her that I think its just out of gas and I instruct her to please tell the mechanic that that car is probably just out of gas and DO NOT perform any other diagnostic work until that has been ruled out as the problem. Well apparently she either didnt tell the mechanic this information or there was some sort of miscommunication between her and the mechanic. So, after they troubleshoot the fuel pump (and I assume other components as well) they finally decide to put some gas in the car and Voila!!, problem solved. So I basically got charged $100.00 for a mechanic to put a couple of dollars of gas into the car. Needless to say, I was pissed, and I wont be doing business with them ever again.

Honest, fair, and have very knowledgeable technicians. They have a fix it right the first time mentality.

I drop off my car at 8am. I don’t get a call, so I call back at 3pm. I’m told they will check it out and will get a call. I never received a call. I’ve been going here for over 8 years and will not return. I’m disappointed at the lack of service and how this place has gone downhill.

They said they replaced the wheel bearing on my vehicle, but two weeks later I took the car to a certified auto shop because of the noise and grinding and they said that the very same bearing needed to be replaced. When a shop writes on your paperwork that a certain part is being replaced at customers request...thats a tell tell sign that they have ripped you off. I will never take my vehicle here again. Liars and thieves
