What is to like about this place?. This is the mostemptiest market I have seen in all my life. There is nothing and I mean absolutely nothing worth buying. I went in today, spent $70 on bs after realizing I just wasted 15 minutes and $70 I cant get back. I will travel back home 3 1/2 hours to Burbage in Goose Creek, SC and get quality meat. This place is absolutely GARBAGE!!. 1 star is for the lady at the register. Period. Response: no worries, I wont be back. Ill write it off as my loss.

Always drop by when we come back to town. Nice old fashion butcher shop with staples you cant find elsewhere. Usually they have some fresh home made cookies at check out....this time they did not.

Traveled an hour and a half to visit this market. Made arrangements earlier to pick up some liver pudding than no store locally carries. They were so helpful and we purchased many other things while we were there. We bought some marinated pork chops that were the biggest I have ever cooked. They were delicious. Love this market and will definitely be retuning. Love supporting small businesses.

Great store lots of good products. Fresh locally grown produce, fresh meats, best fresh catfish fillets Ive ever had. Lots of good homemade salads, old school drinks, candies, etc. Jams, pickles, & allot of great seasonings. I could go on & on, pop in & check this great country store out...! We love this place and were glad that we found it. Its located not far from the highway and the service is always pleasant and friendly. Will pass the word on that this meat market provides fresh meats as well as other foods and candies that I remember eating when I was a little girl. I now enjoy taking my daughter and watching her eat candy that I used to eat a long time ago!

I love this store. If youre looking for turkey wings to cook. This is the place to go. The local grocery stores wont have them. Great smoked meats to put in greens. Wonderful place.

These folks got me 30 1/3 pound burgers ready and on point. Were great and their service was outstanding. Steaks are also the best.

They have good fresh produce. They have a butcher on hand to cut whatever meat you want & sales of meat already cut. A lot of out of the ordinary items only at this store.

I wish I had found this place years ago. It is a true old school butcher shop. Fresh cuts of all major meats plus seafood. All the meat I have purchased has been fresh and wonderful. Do yourself a favor and try it.

This is a throw back store. Reminds me of a country store 30 years ago. This a great place to get your meats for any occasion. They will cut you what you want if it is not in the counter. You should give it a try for yourself and see what you think. I will keep going back.

Took 46 years of buying meat but only one visit to Town and Country meats to get bad extra lean hamburger. Bought 3 pounds came straight home and into freezer. Then thawed for 24 hours was going to make meat balls for spaghetti sauce but meat was red on outside but dark brown on inside with a bad smell.Called they only asked one question, did I have a receipt? No why keep a receipt for a cash transaction.Was told bring it back they would replace it with fresh meat. Funny that is what they told me during first visit, will grind it up fresh.Asked for money back told their policy was only with a receipt. They know it was their employees printing on the packages.Told them no thanks my health was worth a lot more than $15.00Do yourself a favor steer clear of this business, bad meat can kill you.Eric Johnson

Been going here for years to buy meat and hoop cheese and old fashioned candy. They also have some of the best homemade cakes and pies. Stop by and get yourself some please.

My favorite meat market because I can find what I need, but they are overpriced on essential items which means you have to go to another store to get. The staff is as friendly as you are to them. I like this place only for the convenience and the nostalgia.
