The self check out is a joke. Not customer focused or quick nor convenient. They have 3 employees walking around with the scanner to ‘scan the large items’ I was told. I guess customers are too incompetent to do it themselves. You MUST take EVERYTHING out of the cart, scan across the scanner, lay it on the ‘scale’ then after EVERYTHING is scanned place it back in your cart. Forget if you have arthritis or in a hurry. The ‘other’ wholesale store trusts you enough and cares enough about you to let you scan items in your cart WITHOUT taking them out. If you have a full cart, they have a cart available for you to scan, WITH THE SCANNER, and place in the other cart to take to your car. Thus, eliminating handling your items at least 1 less time and speeding up the process. Costco could learn from others. I don’t buy the ‘trying to keep cost down by eliminating possible missed scanned items.’ They are paying people to hold the scanner hostage. Not too smart. Other places have kept their prices low without insulting and inconveniencing customers. I will NOT be renewing my COSTCO membership!

Employees that work at the gas area wasn’t informative on when pumps are working and that aren’t working so yesterday I was hesitant to go to up to a pump when I saw it wasn’t finished so a unpleasant lady from behind got out her car and thought she was entitled to tell me to move up without knowing what was going on previously. So that Old Lady kept trying to clarify annoyingly to the employees and our surroundings why we was sitting there waiting like every decent person and they just shrugged it off like they were not just fixing the pump beforehand. Gas price is not that good for that type of treatment.

The self-checkout is overcomplicated but worse is they have employees stationed there to watch (help?) At least our attendant was the rudest, most condescending COSTCO employee weve ever encountered. Our renewal is due and if this were our regular Costco warehouse the decision would be easy to rip it up! Costco, you can do better

Costco as always is great. So much selection! When we move, we already know what we are putting on our housewarming registry from Costco! I do miss the samples to try new things but I understand due to Covid. It also is usually a hit or miss when it comes to meats there and there were no boneless skinless chicken thighs.

The automotive department was closing (as in closing the gate )and they stayed open to fill the air in my tire to make sure I can get around . I had been around to several locations and they were so nice helpful and I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Thanks to the guys at the automotive selection at Costco!! You guys deserve a raise!!

With the exception of often navigating through crowded spaces, Costco is an unparalleled shopping experience. Low prices, high quality and the ever changing variety of merchandise are compelling reasons to frequent Costco. Where else can you buy a whole rotisserie chicken for $4.99? The clothing section alone is worth a special trip.

Costco is amazing, just take a tour or say your going to the pharmacy (anyone can use the pharmacy you dont need a membership to use the pharmacy) to look around.

Costco is always busy on Saturday. I try to avoid Saturdays but sometimes its not so bad. They have different sales and deals on some stuff that you need and dont need but its always nice to see what they have sometimes anyways just to look around.

Place is a little chaotic. Especially the parking lot. Terrible flow. Its like walking out the store and stepping onto a freeway with a shopping cart. Inside the store is okay, very congested in the middle of the store and tough to bring carts through sometimes. I wish they had small versions of the large bulk items. As samples to try. I just dont want to spend x amount of dollars on a 20lb box of food Im not even sure Ill like. I guess its a good idea to know what you like unless youre the gambling type. Checkout can be a little slow. They also have retail items... a whole row of them way to close to where the registers are. Completely ruins the flow at checkout. Makes it even more congested.

Store and employees are awesome. The other people you shop with tend to be a bit self concerned. Weekends are always slammed, so weekday visits may be best. Definitely worth the membership cost.

Hearing AidVery disappointed in the hearing aid service department, we purchased a hearing aid and the problem was it didnt stay in the ear well.So it fell out and the dog ate it, they replaced it( very nice ).But the problem still exists that the new one wouldnt stay in her ear, so the same thing happens. To find out they have a custom ear piece that would have fixed the problem, and no one told us about it.Now they say they would pay for the ear piece but not discount the 3rd hearing aid.Its sad that all you had to do to keep a Satisfied customer was to care enough to tell them about a 35.00 custom earpiece.I hope this will help someone, because Im aware my mom is not the only one with this problem ☹

Love their business model and how clean the place is. Wish the aisles are labeled and you can self checkout with the phone like with the Sams Club app. But you can do all your shopping at one place (instead of juggling between Walmart and Sams).

Costco is consistently good. Cashier advised that I was entitled to two packs of bagels even though I only picked up one. Busy on a Friday afternoon but reasonably efficient. Gas line was crazy but no complaints as the prices are far better than average.

Im not a member of Costco; however, you can get prescriptions and vaccinations without one. I went here today and received my flu shot, as I do each year. I gave a 4 since I stood at the drop-off window at least 6-7 minutes, also with another customer behind me, until someone acknowledged us. Then I learned that the flu shots for non-members increased to $24.99, whilst the members remained the same at $19.99.

Costco was extremely busy, Everyone was required to wear a mask. It was great to get my items and get out. Great Service without long lines.

Its Costco. If youve been to one, youve been to all of them. This particular location is always busy and crowded. If you can make it to the Winston-Salem location you will have a much more pleasant experience.

This is a fine Costco, but I prefer the one in Winston Salem. I only shop at the Greensboro location because it’s closer. It can be a nightmare trying to get outOf their parking lot. It’s a really poor setup and very Congested. But since Costco is a must…

The staff was extremely rude to me. The woman standing by the door made my boyfriend shop while I wait in the car and gave us some BS about how it’s policy for only one person to shop at a time. We shouldn’t both need a membership to shop when we live in the same household. When I called to speak to the manager (Keith) I could not even get him on the phone and just received excuses.Once my boyfriend got to the checkout, the cashier became angry that he wasn’t aware the apple pay didn’t work. My boyfriend came out to get the debit card from the car and when he got back in they had voided out our groceries.Keith then told my boyfriend that we can just shop somewhere else, which we HAPPILY will. I have never experienced such poor treatment from management. What an incredibly sorry excuse for a boss.

Got a hot dog but it was, ( ice cold ).They didnt have a gal.relish either.

I came here for an Instacart order.The greeter was very rude, after I entered the store she proceeded to follow me around the entire time. This made me very uncomfortable. When I asked her why she was following me she said she was just doing her job. I didnt know Costco had a job position for stalking customers. The bathroom was also quite gross.

I love this place. I’ve have great experiences every time I’m in there.The last time, my fiancé and I were looking for a TV and the one we were looking at was out of stock. A super helpful employee (wish I got his name) told us it was available online, so we ordered it when we got home.The delivery exactly on time and the drivers were SO helpful and nice. I’m not very strong, so they brought the TV in for me.Highly recommend this store and online. Thank you!! :)

Prices have Gone up on everything. too crowded. Theyre not wearing a face mask some people is some people aint. there needs to be more protection for peoples health. Not too much merchandise the way it used to be.

I like the store but, need to get rid of the mask policy. We like to sample the products inside instead of outside the store. We used to eat hot dogs there before we started shopping, not now. Now we get in and out as soon as possible.

My husband and I went to Costco today for a few things. We frequent Costco often and we know very well the policies that are required by Costco regarding mandatory mask wearing in their warehouse. I have a health condition that sometimes makes wearing a mask all but unbearable. Simply pulling my mask down for a few minutes to get a few breaths of air can prevent me from passing out. After checking out our items, I was waiting in a corner far away from others (approximately 15-20 feet), while my husband went to the restroom. I pulled my mask down and was immediately approached by a female Costco worker who stated in an authoritative manner, Mam, you need to pull your mask up while in the warehouse. She then walked into what I can only assume is an office out of sight. I did not immediately comply and within minutes she emerged and went to two other employees standing several feet (yes, far more than 6 feet). I saw the two employees look in my direction and though I am not a Rocket Scientist, I could easily deduce that they were talking about me not having my mask up yet. I was then approached by the three female employees and told even more authoritatively, Mam, when you are in the warehouse you must wear your mask! It was more than obvious that these three women were threatened by my 53, 120 lb non-assuming, mask below my chin physique. I responded, I was just getting a breath of fresh air. That okay with you people? To which one of the females replied again, Mam, you will need to pull your mask up when in the warehouse! So, why am I telling the world this? Not because I have a problem with policy, but because I have a problem with the attitude and lack of concern for the person. When one cares about policy over people, they have ceased to be anything but legalistic... without compassion or grace. I have worked my entire life in many various forms of customer service. What I have learned is that we are far more effective when we say things with respect and kindness. For example, Mam, I see you have your mask down. Is everything okay? Are you feeling okay? I understand how wearing a mask can be quite a nuisance, however, Costcos policy requires that all people wear their mask covering the mouth. As a Costco employee, I really appreciate your understanding and complying with our policy. People know when you care about them and when you dont. Costcos three policy aggressive employees showed their agenda abundantly today. Lastly, I might add, ironically, they all three got well within an unsociable distance to me, while enforcing the Costco policy.

This Costco is nice. Be aware they change inventory and do not always have the same frozen foods. You may not find what you bought the visit before. The staff seems busy, and will shuffle you through check out. Its a busy store. Expect a crowd. Always.

They did not have several items I went to get that they usually always have. I found the prices to be somewhat higher than normal. Service was fine. Thats why it is necessary to order online from elsewhere, if they are not well stocked.

One of my favorite places to purchase roast chicken, and buy my stock of alkaline waters during frozen Italian sausage lasagna. The macadamia nuts are a firm favorite. Always good to check out the clothes- great bargains

I’m not sure why Costco has such a good reputation. Their customer service is poor. The employees love to sit there and have loud conversations among themselves and ignore the customers. They’ll run you over with a pallet jack if you happen to be in their way. I was there a couple days ago and watched two of them (Shameena(sp) and Joseph I think their names were) talk about the woman in front of me because she had the audacity to pay with two different cards.

What can you say about a great store like Costco? They are organized, clean, quick and consistently stocked. Long check-out lines are deceiving, as they flow through very fast!

I’ve always came to this Costco and have always shopped here, I however am very upset about this situation that occurred with a cashier here… I went to check out and for some reason my card declined the cashier kept trying to tell me that they don’t accept credit which I kept telling her that it’s a Debit card and that it’s not a credit card I even showed her where it said Debit and she then proceed to tell me they don’t accept credit here and then asked me if the card is even mine and If I even had any I.D on me to prove that it’s mine, which I did. Now I’ve shopped here plenty of times and never has my card declined here.. it was very rude of her to say that or to even ask me for my I.D to show “proof” I ended up paying cash and left. Never again will I come here!

I had to price Corrections where they were incorrect signs placed above the item. In addition, although it was only the second day of the sale they were sold out on the toilet brushes that were advertised. The same thing happened last time they offered the sale so obviously they are not ordering enough. Very disappointed in this trip.

The employees are extremely rude and not helpful. I have never experienced such horrible employees at Costco until I moved to NC. Southern hospitality is missing at this store.

I must say I am very happy with my tire purchase from Costco here in Greensboro. I used to drive 60,000+ miles per year and needed a lot of tires. My last purchase was from Discount Tires and found out 6 months later that those tires had actually been manufactured 3 years ago. So I decided to try COSTCO, got my new tires yesterday and wow my new tires are actually made in 12/2020. The pricing is also unbelievable, it sure pays of to have a membership for Costco, great products, great pricing. Highly Recommended. Thank you

I have been a Costa member for over 20 years. Also,have lived in more than 5 states in those years. Will have to say that the Costco on Wendover in Greensboro, NC has been the best of all the Costco stores that I have shopped at. It is well stocked, always clean and has a great staff working there.

Store can be quite overwhelming. It was extremely crowded when I visited. With our current Covid-19 pandemic it was too many people for my liking. The quality of fresh food and other items is always good. Most staff members were pleasant and helpful.

Crazy crowded all the time, and you really have to know your prices for if something is actually a good deal or not

Vitamins. Street taco kits. Rotisserie chicken. These are the items that are well-priced and dont come in huge quantities. Wide aisles, easy to navigate. Avoid weekends to social distance. And always get a pizza or hot dog combo on the way out!

Very, very crowded. Strolled through as a visitor. Store is pretty big with lots of stuff. Almost looks cluttered in some areas. Still on the fence whether its worth the membership. Groupons offers a 60$ year membership so it might be a good trial.

I am a Instacart shopper and I travel a lot. The Greensboro Costco is the only store that I have shopped that gives us respect by having a dedicated checkout lane just for Instacart shoppers. Thank you very much and I truly appreciate it!!

Going on weekends can be a headach. Its always so crowded and packed. Mon_fri before noon is the best time for us. But a lot of deals are available on weekends. Gas and propane is always best prices.

The service is SUPERB!! I went grocery shopping in the store, noticed a nail in my tire and they fixed it right away.

Costco is a great place to buy some clothes and groceries. It also has a great selection of crockery and tools. You can also give them your prescription from eyes and they can give you glasses with a selection of frames. They take about a week to make and you can pick them up anytime.

I love love loooovvve Costco but I hate the lines lol. Not a bad buy for some king crab legs.....they didnt have any snow crab legs yesterday 😔......but on the other hand they are stocked pretty good and the limits are gone!!

The parking lot may look full, but I haven’t experienced any overcrowding inside the store or had to wait long at checkout. At the self checkout stations there are employees who unload your cart and do everything for you. Brilliant idea! Checkout moves much faster!

I have considered getting a Costco membership in the past. But after visiting the one on Wendover yesterday I will never get a membership. There are plenty of other stores to shop for deals. I received a gift for Christmas from a Costco member. I read the return policy on the website before attempting to exchange the gift. It boasted about how easy returns are and that a receipt is not necessary. I waited in line behind 3 people. I already knew I wasn’t going to have any luck with the return as I saw all three of them get turned away. As soon as I started to say I needed to do an exchange I was cut off only to be told they did not do exchanges even though it clearly says otherwise on the website. The girl said their manager does not allow exchanges. If that is the case then why is the return policy listed on the website so lenient?
