The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa is a sculpture by Bernini, depicting an angel with an arrow of divine love piercing the titular nuns heart. As the title implies, Saint Teresa is in a state of ecstasy at this interaction with the divine, an emotion that Bernini exquisitely captures in her facial expressions.While it may be difficult to get to Rome to see this wonderful piece of art, you might get lucky and see me recreating it at Donut World as I bite into a fresh apple fritter. Truly magnificent.

Their Buttermilk and Old Fashioned Style donuts are fantastic! The buttermilk style is by far one of my favorite donuts in GSO. If you have not tried it, then you simply must. They are my go to cheat day snack. I like to dip their apple fritters in my coffee.

Do you want to brighten someones morning? Get a dozen of these assorted (the staff choose the best ones) and take them to your friends, the business youre visiting, etc. I brought one home for my sweetie, and a raspberry-filled one for me. Delicious!!

Their Donuts are the freaking best, made fresh every morning, lots of options, sadly they closed the shop closest to us and now the only one open is in the city on battleground Ave. My waist line will probably benefit from the increased drive time since I rarely go there. If youre in the neighborhood of Battleground though go here, ducks only has one kind of donut and then wait is ridiculous, their choc cake donut is amazingness, and their cinnamon rolls is delicious!

Lucy is amazing! She has some of the best customer service Ive ever seen! The owner on the other hand is terrible! If you come here make sure Lucy is working and avoid the owner at all cost!

Saturday at 1:30 pm and these donuts were NOT amazing. They taste old: either oil needs changing or these were sitting too long before we purchased them. We came in because of the great reviews but won’t be back.

Best donuts in the world. The raspberry filled is my favorite, although Ive never had anything I wouldnt eat again, and Im not the biggest sweets fan. There are reviews that I round up to 5, or reviews where the people or atmosphere help -- this place has that.. But the product is a 5, no rounding required. Highly recommended.

I wanted cinnamon rolls. They didnt have any, AGAIN!White cream filled had choc. Topping so dry that I had to get out of my car to eat them.Coffee cup had a visibly damaged rim. It would seal the lid.I am a regular 3 year customer.

Local business with an amazing product

If I could give them A zero I would. The donuts are good, however it didnt mean a thing with food poisoning. I ate two glazed donuts two days ago. About one hour after I ate the donuts I knew something wasnt right. I did pull something yellow off my donut, however I thought it was icing. I threw up everywhere after an hour. My husband called the store to report what happened. They just said thank you. However I kept throwing up and running to the bathroom five hours later. Now here I am today Thursday and still throwing up. I am done with donuts for life because of this experience. Just to look at a donut reminds me of how I was throwing up everywhere, how embarrassing.

Went in to make a purchase tonight and notice at the check out counter ants were crawling around the register. When I lifted my purse, I noticed they were crawling all over the front of the counter, along the wall, AND INSIDE THE DONUT DISPLAY CASE! Something has to be done other than using a cloth to wipe down the table and sweep the floors!

I absolutely love this place it reminds me of home (California)all the employees here are Soo nice, and welcoming. They closed the o e by my house so now I come to this one and they have the best donuts!!!!! My favorite is the French curler they are the only place that makes it Soo good.

As I sit in my car like a addicted pastry fool, gobbling up this delicious apple crawler and hot coffee I realized I needed to leave a review on this little known donut Oasis. Its a blustery December day and I wanted a cup of coffee but when I drove by Krispy Kreme on Battleground the parking lot was full and traffic was heavy so I kept driving and saw donut world further. I stopped to check it out ordering there best seller Apple crawler and a cake donut along with their coffee taking full advantage of the $2 cup of coffee and donut special, even though I just added the crawler for an extra $1.95. Not only was the coffee straight up black and hot and strong but both the cake donut and crawler was delicious. Simply put just like any pastry business coming at the right time is always key even though freshness should always be on the top of our minds. I highly recommend supporting local businesses such as this one and stopping in for a cup of coffee and their famous Apple crawler.
