Bob Carter completed the service today. He arrived at the house on time and introduced himself. He is very professional and informative, explaining what he will accomplish on this visit. After the service was completed he showed me pictures of the unit and explained what was completed. We will request Bob for the next service.

Based on my experience so far, this is a great HVAC company. They had oil delivered within a couple of days and Morgan came out the next day to fix our furnace. Quick, polite, and affordable prices.I would recommend using Bain not to mention they work on oil furnaces.
Bains techs were able to get my old oil furnace running again. I was afraid Id have to get a new furnace, so having to deal with just a repair was great! I would highly recommend.
Our heater just stopped working of course on a very cold night. We called Bain late evening and they came out 30 minutes later. Our heater need some tedious repairs. They had our heater up and running two hours later. They remained 6 feet away with a mask on, took covid precautions. Very professional and very nice. They are very honest too. They could of told us we needed a new heater now to try to make a sale since we have such an old heater but they told us it still has a little life left in it but to be aware that it wont be far from needing to be replaced. We use them to get our heating oil. This is the first time we used them to repair our heater. We highly recommend them!!!! We wont use anyone other than Bain.

Bain could not get to me for over a week but when they were able to get to my home, they were represented by a gentleman named David. David was prompt and wasted no time analyzing and diagnosing my air conditioning needs. He took the time to answer all of my questions and communicated with me on my level. First of all they worked me in since the hours I work are difficult to make an appointment... I really do appreciate that! My service person Morgan came, cleaned the unit very well to see why it was not cooling like it should be. It had been on 74 as it didn’t seem to want to go to 72. By the time he was done the AC is at 72! Hopefully it will be able to maintain the temperature. Thank you again Bain and a special thanks to Morgan 😃 oh and you’ve been servicing my unit for 10 yrs!!

He also was the technician to do the maintenance on my oil boiler this past fall and gave very good recommendations for keeping my boiler running smoothly for years to come. AC went out and I called Bain Oil. They had a service tech out there within 30 minutes and I live about 15 minutes from Greensboro. The tech was very professional and had my AC running again within an hour. The cost was very reasonable. The staff is always very nice and professional.

The office staff was friendly and arranged for a technician to come out the very same day I called. The service technician was on time, respectful, and professional. Additionally, he was very conscientious of COVID 19 precautions. The repairs were done quickly and efficiently, and the cost was reasonable.

I find it very concerning that with my overall experience you all still manage over 4 stars. I wonder if that is credible. Your office staff is friendly enough and the set up of appointments was a breeze. HOWEVER... even with that it is not enough for me to give more than 1 star. My appointment was set for 6/9 at which time I paid an almost $100.00 service fee for a tech to come out, tell me that my ducts were loose and that an estimator would then have to be scheduled. 1) when i set the appointment I explained in detail that the ducts were loose and specifically requested, the tech come prepared to fix the issue as my home is running hot and my electric bill is through the roof. 2) why is the person coming out for the assessment not qualified to scope? 3) upon getting my estimate scheduled, I called to confirm my appointment *fortunately* just to be told that they had cancelled it because an HVAC company isnt doing duct work for the next several months. I was appalled, honestly to say the least. The office staff did still keep my appointment after I addressed my frustration with paying them money to do absolutely nothing.... and now, here I am on 6/22 having to contact the Bain office for the third time. I spoke with Robert after asking for a manager...Robert did not address his position, did not offer any reconciliation after I described my experience...then proceeded to tell me he would have my quote by the end of the day. The problem with all of this is WHHHYYYYY did I give you guys $100.00?? What in the world was I paying for? Why would you take an appointment for duct work, just to then cancel all related work for months? Why would no one follow up with me when I voiced my concerns? I am just completely flabbergasted with your entire process. The sad thing is... in the grand scheme of things, $100.00 isnt a lot, compared to what I may end up paying to fix whatever the problem is. BUT...I lost that money and received NOTHING in exchange...and of course YOU WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED TO DO THIS WORK FOR ME, after you provide me with my long awaited estimate. I am truly disappointed and I do hope the customers on this page that have given you 5 stars are legitimate, because the service I received was a far cry from even being called decent.

He was very professional and answered all of my questions . He was also right on time, how refreshing . I would definitely use them again.

We had a very positive experience with Bain. Don is GREAT! He came out to give an estimate and was very friendly and acknowledged our dogs to make them less nervous and barky. Don also got back with us multiple times about our scheduled installation and answered any questions in a very relaxed way, didnt make us feel rushed like other companies do. I liked that they took installation appointments through the main office (apparently other companies dont for some reason) so it was really easy and quick to set up. Megan set up the appointment with us and she was very friendly as well. The guys who installed the unit were done within 5 hours and did a very clean job. And now we have a great new unit that cools the house wonderfully.

Bain installed new Trane dual systems in my home in the summer of 2012. After the initial manufacturers warranty expired, they continue to come out and inspect my units twice a year under an optional extended annual service agreement...which is worth every penny. They have always provided professional, prompt and courteous service. I had an issue with one unit recently and called Bain that morning and the issue was fixed that afternoon. If you are in the market for a new system, I would highly recommend Bain Heating and Air.

We noticed that neither our a/c nor our heat was working, so we called Bain to come out and take a look at it. Don was the service tech who came. Very friendly, listened thoroughly to my description of the issues wed been having and walked me through every step of the process he used to figure out the problem. All of the costs were laid out for me before starting any of them once the problem was diagnosed, so there were no surprises in terms of cost. Everything was back up and running in a matter of an hour or so - much quicker than I might have expected given that I wasnt sure what was wrong. All in all a great experience. Bain has more than earned my repeat business for my HVAC and oil needs over the years.

Where is the zero star? I had used Bain in the past and was happy with their services. This time however, it seems that there are new policies or new people. I dont know whats going on with them, but this latest repair was NOT a good experience at all. To keep it short, dishonesty, disregard and fake inflated prices were involved. It was a bad experience and Im pretty sure I will no longer need their services.
Above and beyond!It’s one thing to do the work you’re getting paid to do, but another to take time to help people in need unrelated to that job. While working on Timberlake Dr. in High Point last week, a new driver accidentally drove my vehicle into a tree, shrub, and the side of his house across from where two Bain employees were working. They immediately came over once they heard the impact, and used a saw to help dislodge the vehicle from a large shrub. The whole thing took probably 10 min, so they didn’t abandon their work assignment, but if not for their support, would have made a very traumatic incident far worse than it was. I just want to thank them both very much (don’t know their names), and to tell Bain that they have two employees with great character and integrity. These two men made all the difference in our lives that day.

DO NOT USE BAIN. After being in loyal to Bain for over 17 years and 2 New units installed at over $20,000 they have no respect for the customer, the service is shady and the installation is incompetent! My Trane unit has issues every Spring when switching from heat to AC, each year the repair bill has been dumped on me as its not covered under warranty as a new unit. This year I got smart and called a competitior to fix it. Guess what? They fixed it and documented it was wired up wrong!! Since installation!! The previous issues I was told the unit had I now believe were false, and I believe I got taken for a big ride. Incompetent installation and repairs. Each year I have asked the sales guy to have the owner call me to discuss the ongoing problems, I have never got a phone call. So in the last 3 months the Trane unit at my fathers house went out and at my business partners house went out. 2 units at $15,000 each that Bain did not get the jobs!! Call Webb Heating and Air. Less than Bain and better service and installation!

My furnace was not working and I called this morning. They were out today and had it fixed before lunch at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone.
Rude and hanging up to potential customers just because they messed up the appointment! I had to take time off work and no one showed up because the lady insists that I said was calling back to confirm. I never said I was calling to confirm. I called for a set and definite appointment day and time. Stop putting words in my mouth lady!!!!!!
I am very disappointed with Bain and specifically, my A/C technician James. I had them come out on July 5th for a repair and was told that the freon was low, the coil needed cleaning, and there was a short/ bad fuse. I was quoted 3 lbs appx of freon at a rate of $115 per lb, $75 to clean coil, and $289 to try stop leak. I paid for all this plus $84.33 just for them to come out.James said he didnt have the stop leak with him so it would have to be scheduled for July 6th. My total bill for the two days was $910.52. The A/C stopped working that very night. James came out the very next morning (July 7th) and now said the HVAC condensate pump wasnt working and it would be an additional $334. He then told me he was being very generouous and waiving the $45 service fee for showing up since this was unrelated service.James was very rude onsite and I decided I wasnt going to waste any more money with Bain Heating & Air. Ive since called two other A/C companies and received quotes for under $200 to replace the condensate pump. And theyre not even charging me $84.33 just to show up.Seems like if you spend close to a $1000, they would at least waive the service fee, but not Bain. And to add salt to the wound, I checked my credit card activity this morning and they had attempted to charge me $64 more than the authorized charges.I will note one positive thing about the experience. Megan, in the office, was very helpful when I called and brought up the credit card charge discrepancy.Moral of the story, I would stay away from Bain Heating and Air Conditioning in Greensboro, NC.This is a followup to the owners response.The $64 I am talking about is not tax. I paid the tax. My tenant also agreed James was rude. I can have her post a review as well if you like.

I am have a real BAD experience with this company. called bain 2 month ago or so. goodman heat unit stopped.after they came in and checked it they said the gas valve was bad and needs to be replaced.i was chrged 79 $ for diagnosis and 321 dollars for a gas valve . i thaught they were honest about the price. their worker was unfriendly and started making jokes about the unit that is piece of junk( Bain installed the units 7 years ago!!!). i checked the price of the gas valve two days later and found it not any near the 321 dollars . same model same sku for the valve cost including free shipping is 49.95$. anyone with no knowledge at all can install the valve in 5 minutes.i printed the prices on the internet and took it to them on spring garden. all claimed the person who handel your complaint is not here and asked me to leave name /phone number and will call that day before 5pm. you guessed it right never called and will not.just piece of advice dont trust this company neither be fooled by the customer comes first on their door step neither be fooled by Former Mayor they use on ther website to attract your business. i am very pissed off of them .very unprofessional. taking advantage of the situation is Not a good thing.this a true experience and i stand behind it. i have the receipt and i wil post it online whenever possible.
