I was really impressed with Charlies marine. They keeped me up to date with getting my transom repaired and rebuilt my 1994 Johnson venom.. they explained and showed me pictures of the work as it was being done. And explained how to break a motor in... the work was done on time. CHARLIES is awesome

We bought a motor from Charlie’s for 2500 was told this was an excellent motor 90 hp Johnson we took our pontoon to find that all it did was stalled out, called Charlie and said bring it back he would fix it, had it 3 weeks said it was fixed and didn’t charge us sense he sold it to us, back on water, problem not fixed in fact was worse. Decided that we wanted someone else looking at it and come to find out the RVO was bad several issues on top of that and after fixed those our new mechanic put it back in water and come to find out it has a cracked block. $2500 down the drain. We were warned about doing business there by 6 different people but not everyone can have a good experience, unfortunately we were part of the bad experience with Charlie’s.

Definitely would recommend! Started out with a rocky start but Charlie (owner) made sure to jump in and be sure we were happy customers. He went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied and would come back! Great customer service and owner really cares about his products!

Don’t have the words to say thank you for all Charlie and his crew did for us! He took the time to explain what I was looking at what I needed and helped me get the right boat! He even took the time to answer my newbie questions after the purchase. Great honest business and worth the drive for us...and he’s totally right when he tells you come look he’s got a lot of boats and he will help you find the right one when you get there.Thanks

Said he would fix in 3 days for 2 repairs- took 4 weeks to fix 1 of them. Things happen, i get it... but the 3/5 score is primarily because of Charlies attitude. At one point about 3 weeks in, i communicated i was frustrated with the delay. His answer was (and i quote) I cant control the delays. You can get your boat whenever you want it and take it somewhere else- if theyll even take it- everyone is busy this time of year and i have enough business without yours. The second repair was never even considered or attempted. Your mileage may vary, but Ill give Charlie his wish... i *will* take my future business elsewhere.

He helped me test a boat that I was going to buy. Man he went over that boat with a fine tooth comb to make sure I was getting my moneys worth. I definitely recommend him..

Took my pontoon in today for a “starting” issue. No wait! Found a sensor disconnected! Knowledgeable crew, good humored guys! I was in my way in 10 minutes! I’ll go back!
