I highly recommend Carrie for any piercings. She was able to taper my existing nose piercing, she was also very patient and kind to my daughter during getting her nose pierced. Everyone in the shop was super friendly, knowledgeable and very reasonable priced.

The piercers are great, but the counter is a little lack luster. I used to shop here at least once a week and went in to buy some gold pieces one day and I was the only one in the store and two girls behind the counter didnt even look at me. I left after 20 mins. There are friendlier stores in town.

Carrie was perfect for my (first!) double cartilage piercings. You can feel her work experience as she did her job. She was able to discuss the pros and cons of what I wanted and directed me in how best to achieve that. Her assistant, Gwen, was knowledgeable and helpful. Even though there was a wait time, we left and came back to an appointment. Great experience all around.

I recommended getting a piercing done here! The lady that did my septum talked me through it and she made me feel less nervous. She was very funny but kept it professional and clean. She clearly explained how I must care for it and what not to do to avoid infection. I will definitely come back here for sure!I will warn that the wait may be long, but just have patience! :)

Carrie was incredible! So thankful she did my cartilage piercing. She was a dream. As someone afraid of needles, I didnt even feel this piercing. I was shocked it was over. It was great! Ill be back for more from Carrie!

I would not go here again! They are extremely disorganized. It took 6+ hours to wait for a single ear piercing. The woman who is doing the piercing is constantly leaving the room and the employees are going in and out of the piercing room. Asked about coming back another day and they straight up said no. You waste a whole day waiting on them. It’s not worth it.

I got my second nostril done today. The staff at the front were very kind and helpful. Carrie was my piercer and she was absolutely amazing! She took her time making sure my second nostril would match my first and I truly appreciate the precision. None of the staff are afraid to be themselves with their clients. I highly recommend this shop!

Being turned away one day and the crazy wait time once we got in are the reasons this establishment doesnt get 5 stars. The two staff members that were encountered were very nice and handled the madness well.

My son had his eye brow and two ear piercings done and the lady that did them for him was very thurrow and very steral with his piecings and made sure he knew how to take care of them. She was Very nice also. I brought my eldest son here many years ago my boys are 18 years apart in age And they both had excellent care and thats why I came back the second time because I trusted them! I like this lil shop. Great novelty place where you can purchase pipes, incense, jewelry, alternative clothing, and much more! Staff is usually friendly too. It has a laid back atmosphere.

Got my first piercing done here in 2008 and Carrie has never let me down! Super knowledgeable and all of my piercings look and healed great. I have over 10 piercings and have gotten all but 1 at purple haze.

I love Purple Haze. Clean environment. Hand washing required. Nice staff. Disinfect pericing room before your allowed in. Piercings havent done me wrong yet from here. Will be going back a lot in the future.

The ONLY PLACE in Greenville that will yell at you to go to the back of the store and wash your hands the second you enter, yet try to make each customer use soap from a nasty moldy soap dispenser that clearly hasn’t ever been cleaned judging by all the different soaps crusted together and turning brown. That is disgusting and it is obviously not helping anything as far as sanitizing goes. Tell me, was it too expensive to simply invest in a hand sanitizing station or two? Asking for a friend🙄

Went here for a piercing. Theres a wide selection of jewelry and the piercer is friendly. My issue was being given a 2 hour wait time and waiting an additional hour and 20 minutes beyond that.

I got my cartilage pierced and my second lobes so far. There’s usually a long wait but they mitigate that by letting you fill out the paperwork and return later without losing your spot. Love my piercings, think I’ll come back this week for another.

I was in town on a mini vacation with my sister and my piercing fell out. I called 15 minutes prior to my arrival and the individual that answered the phone stated that the wait wasnt long and to come on in. Once I arrived there was like 10 people waiting and 4 to 5 staffers standing around, they said it would be an hour waiting, but that I could leave and come back within the hour. Due to being hungry, we drove down the street and came right back. The same staffers were still standing around, but this time they were discussing lunch. I will NEVER go to this establishment again! Don’t get me wrong! She did great job, she was so nice to us but she didn’t have her mask on. At the store’s entrance there is a sign that clearly says No mask No service “ but people who offer the service do not follow it! Meaningless.

The wait for piercing is worth it- there is a reason this place has been consecutively voted and won for best in upstate. Ive gotten my septum and belly button done here, and plan to come back for future ones. Ive gotten Carrie both times, and she is such a cool person and extremely talented peirced; neither of them hurt getting peirced, and it was quick. The prices are very reasonable and worth the quality.

Carrie is wonderful, she pierced my tragus and I will never go to anyone else. She is calm, precise, quick, and has been doing this for a long time. All the piercing kits used are unopened, the jewelry sterilized. And if youre a deadhead, youll love that place. They have all kinds of cool merchandise. A much wider selection than the actual dead & company store.

Literally have driven to the store 4 times in one week. Everytime has been either 1 and a half hour wait or more or they stopped with peircings at 7. Would really be great to have the option to set up an appointment. I am gladly paying double the price just to be able to have an appointment at another place and not have to wait hours or waste time driving up for no reason because appointments aren’t offered at all.

One of the best places i have gone for covid. Everyone wears mask and you have to wash your hands when you go inside.

People are nice & helpful but get annoyed fast I understand having bad days but shouldnt betray it to your customers...only issue was they refuse for you to get in line for any body piercing until you wait in line & pay then 3hrs 45min later (or longer) you get your piercing.

Yelling across the room and stated it was a 45 minute wait we ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours and still hadnt been called up, so ended up asking for a refund. I went in for a new nose ring and to have it switched out. Staff was all nice and the prices were reasonable. The wait was super long but they gave you a timeframe to come back. Piercer was great and helpful.

If you want to be treated like a person, go to get weird further down Pleasantburg. If I ask if you have something, dont shoo me in the direction of where it might be. Know your inventory and treat customersright.

I just got back from wasting almost two hours waiting for a simple job changing an earring that I had gotten from this place before. Ive never had an earring before and when I tried to change it myself it was bleeding so I went in to get help as they offered to change it for me for a few dollars. I was told I would have a 45min-1hr long wait (this was at 3:30pm) and that there were 3 people in front of me. No big deal. Around 5pm I was asking once again for the 5th time when I was getting help. No one could give me an answer. The singular piercer was still in the piercing room and not answering. The lady at the front counter couldnt tell me (she was the one good thing about this place as she was the ONLY person working up front and had like 8 customers at one point asking her for help and questions and fed up with the wait time as well). There was one employee in the back who was just on his phone not doing ANYTHING (a guy with glasses and short auburn hair) and when he heard me upset about the wait time and not being able to get any answers he got really snippety with me telling me if I didnt like it I could leave. FINALLY around 5:15 the piercer came out to tell me 2 people were still in front of me...1hr 45mins ago there were 3 people in front of me, and now there were still 2. She had the nerve to say yeah itll be another 30 mins as it takes about 15 mins per person when it had been 1hr 45 mins on ONE person. I demanded my money back and left. I will gladly go someplace that has MORE EMPLOYEES ACTUALLY WORKING who can properly give me a TIME that I can actually get help and not a well we said an hour, but now its like 2 and a half if we finish more people before you. A totally unprofessional, rude, messed up business. And while waiting in the waiting room I heard several other customers complaining about time and two of them were there to get piercings REDONE because the shop either didnt do it right the first time or didnt give proper instructions on how to take care of a piercing.

Ive gotten almost all of my piercings done here since I was old enough to get them and theyre always great. Brandi and Kerri are the best. Everything is very clean the wait time on the weekend is long but you should expect that on a Saturday and Sunday if you get there when they open its not so bad. The weekdays are always good. The prices are good. Everybody that works in there is really nice and helpful.

I came into purple haze twice for a navel and septum piercing. Both times I had to wait 3 plus hours inside for them to get to me. The piercing process was very smooth and nice but the wait is so long.

Awful place for piercings. My girlfriend had a piercing done here and the bar they gave her was too small and caused horrible pain. When visiting to see if anything could be done, she sat in line for 2 hours and never got served. Horrible service. Avoid this place.

Not familiar with locations of the best shops in my area. At first I thought this place okay because I didnt have anything else to compare too.I been visiting places and have learn both locations associate with this shop. The employees have no knowledge of type inventory the shop has, I purchased a titanium septum ring and it was cheap material.I feel the importance of being honest shop and least to be able to be honest with your customers. My one visit I spend about $200.I had 2 wait hours for your piercer. After visiting Bryan at The Edge in Anderson, he is gentle, this kerrie lady is very rough I was left bruise. While Brayan, same general are he pierce me, no bruises.My visit with lady was only to regret, they dont have right jewelry for certain parts of the body while The edge made a barbell that was right for that piercing. The edge has appointment, no waits .

Great place to buy piercings, stonerwear, metaphysical accessories, patches, stickers, etc, but Im new to the area and every time Ive gone in there the people working seem to hate their job and arent very helpful.You can tell they cant handle the busy hours well and even when its not that busy its hard to get their attention to help you. Then when they do, they just seem miserable. Idk if they arent paid sufficiently, management mistreats them, or they all just dont understand what customer service entails, but something needs to be done about it. It doesnt matter what kind of establishment it is, theyre all getting paid to do a job and should do so quickly with a good attitude, especially for people who come in with a good attitude expecting positive vibes and a positive experience. That tired edgy store cashier image is bad for business. If they think people cant get anything they carry online or some other store, theyre mistaken. Thats an easy job, dont let paid employees get away with acting like angsty teens.

My daughter and I got piercings. The wait was fairly long, but the girl we had was great!! Destiny was her patient, quick, friendly, but professional. My only drawback is that I dont agree with most of the other things they sell there (anti-Christian).

Love this place!! I got my conch pierced by Nikki as well as a jewelry change. She took her time explaining what was going to happen when she pierced my conch and explained how to clean it as well as how long it would take to heal. Wait time wasn’t bad considering I went around noon. 10/10 would recommend.

Love them! Carrie was my piercer and she took exceptional care of me before, during, and after the piercing process. I went in knowing approximately what to expect thanks to vast amounts of googling the piercing I wanted. And since some of the reviews mentioned wait times I planned going on a weekday as soon as they opened.The wait was short, but I was one of those people that took a lot of time in the booth. And thats because I had two piercings done and I wound up getting dizzy. I scarfed down a pretzel from auntie Annes and a fruit cup 30 minutes prior, but that adrenaline rush still got me. Carrie was phenomenal; she got me a Coke, laid the chair back, turned a fan on and pointed it at my face, honestly every little bit of this helped. All of this took about 15 minutes AFTER the piercings themselves, so I took up a good chunk of time. I can absolutely see how some wait times seem extravagant, it all depends on who is getting what pierced and how they react to it. Few of those factors are predictable for everyone.I highly recommend going here for any and all piercing needs. They were professional and caring throughout my experience.

Cool place with awesome things.

I got my first piercing ever here, my daith. I arrived when they first opened so I wouldnt have to wait too long. The paper work took a short amount of time and Carbear took great care of me and she made me feel very comfortable and at ease even though I was very nervous. She made sure to show me that everything she was using for the procedure was sterile and she walked my through all the steps and the whole process of the piercing took less that 5 minutes.

I came in on monday and had my piercing changed with jewelry I bought at purple haze. everything was great until wednesday night I began to get major ear pain. it continued over night and it became so painful I couldn’t even move or touch the right side of my face which is the side my piercing was on. I had to go to the emergency room and get them to cut the earring out because it had infected so bad and the earring was sinking into my ear. the doctor told me at the emergency room and made it clear that it wasn’t an allergic reaction that it was indeed a really bad infection from something not being cleaned. I called purple haze to make them aware of what happened and they didn’t seem to care not one bit but she asked me if I was allergic and if it was an allergic reaction I proceeded to tell her it wasn’t and what the doctor said and she just brushed it off her shoulder as no big deal. needless to say I won’t be back.

Took my kiddo to get her ears pierced. They were all very professional and kind to her. Took time to explain what they were going to do and how everything works. Took extra care to make sure they were lined up properly before she did them. Went over detailed cleaning instructions and how to take care of them home. There was also an apprentice that day. Didnt help with the piercing as the piercer stated that she never allows an apprentice to do a minor, I really appreciated her professionalism and kindness. I have been recommending other mothers to bring their children here as well. Claires and Wal-Mart should not be allowed to Pierce ears. If they have so many tattoo and piercing laws in the states of South Carolina, these big box stores need to have the same treatment and trained professionals.

I went there in the begginning of June to get my nose pierced. The wait was long but they had a lot of people wanting to get pierced. Very good environment and great staff. I see comments about the staff being rude but thats not the case. My piercer was very professional and she walked me through the process that being my first time getting a piercing. I give them 5 stars. Best place to get pierced!

Great piercing place. Carrie is awesome, but the people in the front need to estimate better. We were told it would be an hour and a half wait...three hours later we were called back. Great experience aside from the incorrect wait time.

However, a lot of ppl kept on recommending purple haze so I decided to check it out for my self and was not disappointed. Carrie did my piercing and she was awesome she did it so fast and easy and explained everything before doing the piercing. I would definitely go again and highly recommend her.
