Absolutely horrible customer service. I’m not one to generally rate anyone this poorly, but very disappointed. In another review just 3 weeks ago clearly someone else got the same service I received.I used to always go here for gifts. Fortunately, there are other great stores with great customer service in the area.All it takes is one bad experience. Most places I would give it another chance, but this person was so rude there will never be another chance.

When I went to Emily Austin to grab my mom a gift, the employees were so wholesome and helpful. They greeted me as soon as I walked in, and they immediately put a smile on my face. I wouldn’t understand how anyone could leave a poor review. And their gift wrapping is just perfect!!

I rarely leave a bad review for any business, however, the treatment I have received on numerous occasions while shopping in this store...TO SPEND MONEY... is disgusting. The staff literally acts as though I and whomever I am with are invisible. Never greets or speak to us, only looks us up and down like they are better than we are. Today, we were the only people in the store shopping and there were 3 older ladies working (I am shocked they have any sales at all with their sales skills!) I went in to buy several items and needless to say, I will not be giving this store one more dime of my hard earned money. I am a Realtor and was hopeful things had changed as I recently learned there is a new owner. Unfortunately, same ole same ole. I will be finding a new source for client closing gifts. It is a shame people still have to behave as if they are in high school, especially in this day and time when just a little bit of kindness goes a long way!

I can’t say enough great things about Emily Austin! It is one of my favorite stores in Greenville for gifts and home decor. They have such a fantastic inventory and I ALWAYS find just what I need. Their prices are reasonable and the employees are all so friendly. I never leave empty handed when I go to Emily Austin. Highly recommend!
