Al is a super friendly and helpful fellow. Very knowledgeable. He has some excellent guitars. Fell in love with a couple. Martin, Alvarez, Yamaha and Seagull acoustics are all sweet. Several nice Fender electrics as well. Full selection of accessories to boot.

I have purchased instruments for my children for band and orchestra from McFadyen and have always had a positive experience. So, when I wanted to purchase a guitar for my daughter, McFadyen was definitely one of my top choices. After some price comparison, I purchased a Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar, in a beautiful teal color, an amp, and all of the necessary accessories. The service, attention, and professionalism was beyond great. I worked with Chris who was spectacular. When I told them I was purchasing this item as a Christmas gift, they even helped by providing me boxes, so the items would remain secret. In addition, they offered a free lesson. Joe and his crew installed a brand new sound system at our church, Wilson Praise and Worship, and did an excellent job! New Yamaha TF5 and QSC line arrays. Our new system is amazing and we get compliments on how well it sounds every Sunday! Plus they didnt just install and leave us to ourselves. They helped train our crew on the new tech and have continued to help us throughout the months and years every time we call. Absolutely the best company around, would recommend without hesitation!

The store was very busy this morning as mothers were bringing kids in for music lessons and other needs, along with other customers coming into the store also. But with all that going on was promptly ask buy an associate if there was anything that he can help me with and assistanted me in buying some guitar strings that I needed this morning. Five star rating.

My experience with McFadden is horrible, my daughter rented a violin while shes in the elementary school and she is now in the middle school and wanted to be in a band instead of orchestra. We went to McFadden music and traded her violin to clarinet. Her father paid for the violin costing $1500+ and when I went to McFadden I thought the clarinet will cost less, but the person that helped me says the value are the same which made me question if thats true. We went today 5/10/17 @5:30pm and the same person that helped us last August when we traded the violin to a clarinet helped us and I told him what is the reason we are there. He told us we cannot trade the clarinet to a saxophone because we owned it, I need to rent the saxophone and keep he clarinet but Im trying to tell him we dont need the clarinet and we would like to trade it with an alto saxophone he said we cant do that. I told him I was informed before that I could always come back once she start playing the saxophone like I told he person beforehand because she needs to start playing the clarinet first and eventually will play the saxophone later on, which is now. But I was informed once I owned the clarinet which I owed the violin prior to that I couldnt trade it. Which confuses the hell out of me because I did the same with the violin to clarinet why changed it? And he told me he wasnt the one that helped us which is a lie because even my daughter which is with me before and earlier today remembered him. I wouldnt forgot his face or his body built. He was the one and he says I will clearly remember you and he says hes one of the owner. I left pretty upset because I was misinformed and just lied to by one of the owner. I cant post his review without clicking the star. To be honest I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE THEM NOT EVEN ONE STAR!!
