Amazing place wonderful people

Ive been renting my daughters violinnhere for several years now and they have always been easy to work with. Pricing seems reasonable and the rental agreement seems to be working well for us and is going to help big time when we purchase the instrument soon.

This was a truly wonderful experience. Although we did not get the name of the lady at the front desk, she was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and went out of her way to make sure my daughters used instrument was cleaned and strings properly. We look forward to visiting again.

2 years ago I came to this place with my son knowing nothing of strings... They have always been helpful and knowledgeable with any question I asked. We rented our instrument and was even able to get credit towards purchasing while we did so. Always a very friendly and helpful staff. All around 5 star rating... GREAT PLACE.

Good and knowledgeable staff. No high pressure. Patient. Reasonable prices. Purchased a violin (again), wooden bow, case, and music.

Great customer serviceOwners spent a moment showing my daughter how to properly hold her instrument and also helped find her the correct size all while staying cheerful and not rushing us even though they were extreamly busy! Definitely will continue to do business with them. Especially since our encounter at Musical Innovations, which we stopped by first, was horrible.

Ive visited Bernhardt twice and the second time I walked out with a 1759 German Violin by Andreas Hoyer. Both times I was met with extremely friendly staff! Im new to violins and had many questions, all were answered in a manner that didnt make me feel rushed. Alex even played the violins I pointed at which allowed me to determine what I did and did not want in a violin. As a novice I cant quite get the true sound out of violins, but having a professional play them helped me know where I could go with each violin. When the Andreas Hoyer was played, it was over. I put 2k down on it and gladly will be paying the remaining interest free balance during 2020.

Very helpful staff, and convenient rental program. We use the maintenance program too, just in case the cello needs worked on or tuned. Great place with beautiful instruments.

Great music store

I called beforehand to ask about the price for renting a used violin. When they told me, I said I would be coming later that day. I arrived half an hour later, to be told that they had no used violins available for rent. Why didnt they tell me this when I had called, and saved me a 20 mile drive?Also, they are laughably rude over the phone.
