I am old and have some problems with my feet. They have a good selection and a 30 return policy. I got some very educated advice and found comfortable walking shoes. They do stride analysis and help you find the right shoes. Highly Recommend.
Awesome store, wholesome staff, they give the time and attention Runners need for their shoe fits!
The store and company has been great for years, so Ill give two stars. I had a zero star experience today as the store employee would not give me the time of day. During the ~10 minutes I was there, he helped one person fit shoes and one person who only wanted shoe laces, which the store doesnt carry alone. I did not get a hello, goodbye, anything. Extremely disappointed as I actually wanted to buy shoes and insoles, maybe some leggings and accessories.
Had a great experience here today. The person who helped me was just fantastic and got me into my first pair of zero drop shoes. He offered great advice for the transition and was patient with me while I tried on a few pairs to find what would work for me. Just finished a 5K in them and couldnt be happier with the purchase. As far as the store goes, it was super clean and the inventory was great! I had to work hard not getting distracted by looking into other gear while I was here. Ill definitely be back to fill future needs! Thanks a bunch!
Love Boulder Running Company ! Staff is awesome. HOKA shoes are the best !! I will never go anywhere else.
Awesome service, advice and selection! 😁
Dom helped us find the perfect shoes. What a great guy! If youre in the neighborhood stop in and say hi to Mr Dom!
They sell some very good tennis shoes especially the Nike brands.
Took me a couple tries to find a pair of shoes and everyone was fantastic each time I went in. Garrett especially was patient and kind and could seriously multitask! I am so pleased with the help I received especially because I can be an awkward shopper. Cannot say thank you enough. Fingers crossed third times a charm (my feet are high maintenance. Ha!)
Lewis was amazing. Super knowledgeable and helpful. Recently got diagnosed with a dead sesimoid bone in my foot (osteonecrosis). He was actually familiar with that problem, who knew, and was able to get me the right shoes to ease my pain.
Great store, great staff.
They didn’t have my size in the shoes I wanted so an employee ordered them to be delivered to my house. The estimated shipping was 8-14 days and most things have slowed down because of COVID-19. My order was processed immediately and I received shipping notification the first business day and received my order 2 days later. I really appreciate the speedy service of BRC and the friendly staff that ordered my shoes for me. Thank you!
Absolutely love this store! Garrett always takes excellent care of me when I visit. Him and the GM Amanda are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about all of the products in their. I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try!
I really had high hopes given that my first Boulder Running Co. experience a few years ago was awesome, but I was really disappointed by the sales associate that I worked with at this store. Any question I asked was met with an extremely vague response and no in-depth insight whatsoever, which was especially disappointing given that I’m training for my first half marathon. The sales experience was so painful that I ended up only trying on two pairs of shoes to make it go by faster, so I don’t even know if I really bought the shoes that I wanted. I really wish I had gotten the chance to work with someone more insightful and willing to answer questions more effectively.
Came in looking for a new pair of shoes. I have recently got back into running. The staff was very helpful. They measured my foot and recorded my stride in give me the perfect shoe. This is not the least expensive place out there but it is worth the money to get the shoe that meets my needs best.
First time buying quality running shoes, and Im so happy I came here! Jackie was SO helpful. Listened to everything I wanted, walked me through how neutral vs supportive works and helped me try on way more shoes than i probably should have without the slightest bit of annoyance (Im really indecisive). Give that girl a raise! Will definitely always come back here and highly suggest it to everyone else
Good service, found exactly what we were looking for. Mens size 10 Brooks athletic running shoe ghost 12 help educate
I loved the service and professional knowledge they have. Great store to buy shoes
My wife and I have been going to this running store for the past couple years and I cant say enough about this store and its staff. Every single employee that works at the store is very courteous and knowledgeable about all of the shoes they carry. They will perform a gait analysis on you to determine the exact shoe that will work best for you. I cant recommend this store enough.
Louis was incredibly helpful and patient with me. As a plus size woman, walking into a running shoe store is not a comfortable feeling. He took the time to listen to my concerns without judgement and patiently showed me several different pairs of shoes. I did not feel unwelcome or like my questions were an inconvenience and that is truly appreciated.
Ignored by multiple staff members while looking at shoes. I had eye contact with both of them while holding a shoe and they turned to offer help to others that had entered the store after me. They had a total of 5 customers, including myself the entire time I stood there. 8 minutes being ignored, my money will go else were
Warning - Horrible Service. I went into the Greenwood location today to purchase 2 new pairs of brooks and a new running watch. When I walked in the brunette female saw me and continued to play on her phone and laugh at online videos. As I was ignored I grabbed a couple pairs of shoes and sat down to try them on. Still no help from either employee. I yelled across the store to a young male with longer brown hair and asked if he could help me. He said he didnt know about the sales products or the brooks line. I was outraged. I brought the shoes up to the counter as the girl continued with her phone. I asked if she could explain to new Garmin watches to me. Apparently her phone was more important. She set the watches on the counter and turned back to her phone. I have never had such bad service at a running store in my life. As the $800 worth of merchandise sat on the counter I told the girl I was so furious about how rudely I had been treated that I couldnt support their business. I am a distance runner with a degree in exercise science, when you fire these 2 feel free to contact me. That was bad business.
I hope this review gets back to Jackie! She helped me replace my old shoes and was absolutely wonderful. I was really indecisive about what to pick and she stood with me the whole time explaining the perks of each choice and how it would affect me. Next time I come in, I want to work with Jackie again. Shes the best!
Kristen was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have never had a Gait analysis before. I was amazed at what I saw and I am going to know which shoes I need to buy in the future. After testing and finding the right fit of Running shoe, I left and came back with my Dr. Prescribed inserts I have had for years and She took the time to test my gait again with Neutral soles and then took the time to show me the difference between shoes and their support! I Love dealing with friendly, professional and knowledgeable People! Now I know what I need to buy and why!
Great running store, they are like family. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. They have Pub runs on Tuesday nights (in the summer) and longer runs on Saturday mornings. They sell t-shirts and technical shirts with a Colorado running theme, I think I may own most of them now.
First time buying a pair of running shoes from this location in DTC. All other locations always have and still are wonderful. had to find a new shoe because my old style was discontinued. took the shoes out for a run and they caused arch and lower back pain. So I took the shoes back to return them, within the 30day return period. Assistant store manager Liz refused to return them for me because I had worn them outside and not only on a treadmill (she said that is the company policy, this is news to me!). the shoes have less than 20 miles on them and she told me that they would have to throw them away and cannot take the loss. she told me my only option was to buy custom inserts for the shoes. I am DUMB FOUNDED. the receipt states on the bottom that there is a 30 day full refund with the receipt, which I have and took in with me. I asked to get her managers information as I dont find this to be okay and she told me that she could only take my shoes and receipt and that she would email her boss to explain the situation and would eventually get back to me. Avoid this store since they feel they do not need to stand up to their return policy and customer service policies. This interaction makes me ashamed to know that I have recommended others go here for their shoes. I have always bragged about how good the customer service is and feel horrible that I may have recommended others to go through this by visiting. SHAME!!!
The people there are really nice. All of them. Now that Ive said that, youll wonder why only one star. Well, I started running and wanted to get some good shoes. Their store is close to my office, so I stopped in. They did their strike testing by putting me on a treadmill and having me run for a few minutes.I was expecting all of this. When we were done, she talked about my strike being really healthy and recommended that I get a flat shoe with no additional (corrective) support. I explained that I was nervous about that because Ive had a problem in the past (diagnosed by a doctor) with collapsing arches. She assured me that her recommendation would not be a problem, given my running pattern.I accepted her expertise and tried on several flat shoes. We found one I liked and I spent just under $130 on one of the pairs she recommended. As I walked out the door, she told me that I could bring them back within thirty days if I had any problems.Four runs later, I noticed severe pain in my ankle. I consulted the doctor that weekend and after looking at my ankle and my running shoes, she concluded that the injury was because I wasnt wearing arch support.Frustrated and unable to run (for two weeks), I returned to the store where I was told that the doctor was wrong and when that didnt appease me, they tried to sell me an additional product ($50 arch support inserts). Frustrated, I communicated that I would prefer to purchase a pair of shoes like the one I had been running in (without problem) prior to this pair. We dont sell shoes with built in arch support. I really felt like I was being lied to or indoctrinated, neither of which was acceptable, so I kindly left the store, agreeing to return when I had more time.Today, I returned to the store to request a refund so I could find a store that would help me find a shoe that matched what I was looking for and which the doctor believed I should have, not which the sales clerk thought I should be wearing. I was told that they would not refund my money, I could only take store credit, and they would not allow me under any circumstances to get my money back.I communicated kindly (never yelling, I promise) that this wasnt acceptable. I communicated the whole store again, and again I was told that store credit was my only alternative.I left with my store credit and was so upset that I was shaking and my eyes were filling with tears. Before leaving the parking lot, I decided to go back, convinced that I was so upset that I would never want to return, I returned to the store, leaving my store credit, and taking the shoes with me. I would rather have an expensive product that Im unhappy with and may never use than feel a conscientious obligation to ever return to that store. I will NEVER go back there. EVER.For perspective...I recognize that lots of folks look at $130 as chump change, but I worked for 15 hours to earn the money that I used to purchase those shoes. I chose to make that purchase, but that will be my lesson in economics this week. It was a gamble I wont make again.
My experience at Boulder Running Company wasnt the greatest. The guy who helped me had zero personality, was not very communicative and seemed to give me the least amount of information when I asked questions. One shoe in particular he did not let me know it comes in a different color because they didnt have it in my size in the store. I later found out it could have been ordered from the other gal who worked there. I decided to take photos of the shoes and will either come back and work with someone else, or find them in another store. I wished the gal who worked there would have helped me. She was busy with other customers.
Clean, organized store. Friendly and knowledgeable help.
Friendly, good service. Got some shoes, salesman was knowledgeable and listened to my preferences. Havent used them yet, well see!
The products are excellent. The store is clean. The staff is not very attentive.
This place is excellent! My sales associate was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I bought one of his recommendations, the Altra Escalante, and it has turned out to be best running shoe Ive ever owned.
I shopped here a little while back during their last months in the larger, standalone building. I was in the middle of a long weight loss journey when I went. I wanted good running shoes for my C25K app. I had never run before (outside the mile in middle school.) I had never had a gait analysis done, nor ever been professionally fitted for any shoe.I was in the overweight classification when I walked in. The employees and the few customers were all clearly fit, active, longtime runners. Very lean people. I immediately felt out of my element.Enter awesome employee (whose name Ive unfortunately forgotten after all this time.) I explained what I was doing and what I wanted the shoe for. She was incredibly positive, supportive of my personal goals, and helpful. She walked me through everything. She helped me with my gait analysis and she was patient with the fact Id never been on a treadmill in my life. She showed me how I run (I have a neutral gait!) and offered a couple of recommendations.I have a severe Mortons toe situation, and for that reason I have trouble finding a good fit. She was incredibly patient in my wanting to play around with size and fit, going back and forth for different pairs without any indication of irritation. She took into account these were my first shoes and I was anxious about spending so much, and tried her best to show me the lines that were on their way out and therefore, discounted in price. The Sauconys I settled on were an older model and were reasonably priced.During checkout she encouraged my interest in running and never made me feel badly about my level of (in)ability. She invited me back to the store for their regularly scheduled 5k fun run. She explained all sorts of people come out, sometimes families with young kids or ladies with strollers, its not all super hardcore runners.Im reviewing now, at a healthy weight, doing 5k 3-4 times a week. I never did take her up on the fun run opportunity, choosing to run alone because Im still slow. I dont know any runners, Im not part of a running community, its just me and a GPS tracker. Looking back at where I was mentally, when I first walked into this store, the person who helped me had the power to make or break my desire to start running. Had I not been received so warmly when I was nervous and felt so out of place, its very well likely I simply wouldnt have started running at all.You guys will see me fairly soon. Its time for new shoes. Thank you Boulder Running Company, for providing the service I asked for and the kindness and consideration I needed.
These guys are great. Super knowledgeable and great advice on what you need to run.
This store rocks. Its like a one stop shop, and the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Ill definitely be going back.
Very helpful staff, made sure I tried on several appropriate shoes and didnt try to upsell me.
Had the best experience with selecting and buying a pair of shoes. Really helpful staff and knowledgeable.
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!The staff is great and very knowledge. Large variety and awesome prices.
Super helpful but I didnt learn anything that I didnt know.
Expensive Place. Couldnt find discounts. But good customer service
I stopped into the Greenwood Village store on Sunday afternoon with the intention of buying two pairs of shoes (one for me and one pair for my wife). The experience was so bad that I left the store and went to Runners Roost and purchased $260 worth of shoes. The salesperson was a young man that new nothing about customer service. I came in and his first response was are you looking for something and after a less than helpful conversation that led to me asking to try on a particular pair he disappeared into the back room for about four or five minutes and comes back and hands me a box with the shoes and then leaves and goes back to the back room for about another five to ten minutes. After I put them on and walked around the store, then came back and sat down on their bench for about five minutes, he appears and says do you like them. At this point I told him that I would think about it, gave him back the shoes (in the box) and left the store and do not ever plan on coming back. There were a total of three salespeople in the store and only one other customer. This is the second experience I have had at the store, the last time I still purchased a pair of shoes because I figured it was a one off experience and the salesperson was having a bad day. The repeat experience will cost them a customer.
Wonderful customer service! They helped me find a great fitting Adidas that I may have overlooked, and helped me find the best shoes Ive run in yet.
This Greenwood village location is not the boulder running company we were accustomed to. No initial treadmill assessment, sizing, fitting, ect. Basically its the shoe dept at Dicks.
I expected it to be super salesy, but I was helped immediately and quickly found an excellent selection of several perfect shoes. The one I wanted wasnt in my size at this store, but there was absolutely no pressure and I went to the other one to buy it.
Best place for running shoes at well as insoles for arch support.
I went in there because the bottom of my shoe was torn after only having the shoes for an month and they gave me a new pair for free. The staff is great!
Great store. Great products. Sales people we friendly.
Very helpful staff, thank you Andrew and store manager!
Nice selection of running gear and ample parking.
Out of everything and unwilling to help by ordering a size in. Super disappointing
Excellent help picking shoes
Rude sales people ... I went there to pick up a gift for my girlfriend purchased online and they would not give it to me ... have to make another 1 hour trip back with her ... what difference does it make? I have the proof of purchase with my credit card !!! ... disrespectful of my time
Nice enough staff, they helped me find what I needed.
Hours said 8pm on Google but 7pm on the door. Wasted a trip
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Employee was knowledgeable and service good.
They actually moved to the strip mall just behind the freestanding store
This running store lied to me and then lied about it. Ill never go back!
Great service!
Super helpful !
I can run now:)
Expensive and tacky
Very helpful
Never been there
