Went in for Male Ballroom dance shoes. The staff was friendly and quick to help direct me to where I needed to look. They were patient with me in making sure I had the right size and fit. I also inquired about any Male dance apparel that they had. 10/10 on staff with their professionalism.I am a little disappointed with the limited selection of Mens Ballroom shoes however. There were only 4 different styles of smooth that looked very identical compared to the much wider variety of Female Ballroom shoes. I was expecting to at least find Swing shoes, Tango and Latin heeled shoes. There was also a very limited amount of apparel for men that I would have never found had not been with the help of staff. They only sold a couple black and white shirts that were primarily ballet as well as ballet focused leggings.This seems to be a great store to get Ballet gear, they have a plethora of clothing for youth and I saw many parents there getting things for their dancers. I would like to see more selection when it comes to Males. Not a bad experience just not what was I was expecting when it came to Ballroom.
Their selection is pretty good. They always have in stock what we’re looking for.their inability to focus on a client is my concern. I’ve never been in and out in less than a half hour. Everyone seems very distracted and often leave to handle other matters while helping you. I’ve been left at the front desk so someone could schedule an appointment or sew a pointe shoe. I needed to exchange something and was left at the desk for so long, I just ended up leaving. Oh and their return policy is absurd. I know it’s posted on the front desk. I saw and read it. But I still find it very frustrating.

I visited Dance Xtreme Bodywear for the first time and had a pleasant experience with Maya and Paige. I was impressed with Mayas knowledge about ballroom dance and whats important during competitions. She also was very convincing when we discussed shoe alternatives and made a case for why I should purchase from a dance store with credible brands vs purchasing via Amazon. She fitted me and gave me options for tightening the fit. Ive never shopped in a dance store before due to inexperience, so overall my time at Dance Extreme was very comforting. Will definitely be back!

I brought my son in to replace broken tap shoes from another store. The young ladies helping us were so friendly, professional and attentive. We left with a great pair of tap shoes and a wonderful Glam’r Gear duffle for his competition team needs. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will be back again!

They moved to a bigger brighter wonderful location! There are more choices in styles and sizes. My one concern was the skin tones offered for the tights was limited to lighter skin tones, as usual. This wasnt necessarily their fault because they do offer the various darker hues but they have to be ordered, which they cant control.I especially appreciated the young lady who helped us from the tap shoe department who explained it very well! We walked away at least thinking there is a solution, though not immediate. She was also very empathetic and helpful which is rare sometimes.I love supporting this locally owned small business and will return every year, usually twice a year.
I had the most amazing experience for my first pointe fitting! Vicky was so helpful and patient. She helped me learn what the pointe shoes should feel like and she gave me a lot of helpful tips and advice. I highly recommend coming here!

The best first experience I could ask for. I came racing in here running late for a ballet class because my daughter’s shoes no longer fit after a vacation and we didn’t realize it until right before class. Instead of them being irritated that I came running in with a six year old and announcing that I was in a huge rush, they immediately asked what I needed, whisked my daughter off to the shoe fitting area, measured her feet and brought out multiple pairs for her to try on. They helped us find the perfect color and fit and never once acted annoyed that we had to rush. I hate doing that to people and would have understood if they were annoyed. Everyone here was so kind and caring and ran their butts off and got us to class on time. I felt so taken care of. The store is very big and has such a wide variety of everything. We will be back soon when we have time to look around and shop. My daughter was so pleased with the store and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for taking care of us and hustling with us to get to class!! Will be back for more and won’t rush you next time!

I came here looking for plus sized tights. At first the girls at the counter couldn’t find anything, so I headed to my car, disappointed. Then, the owner came out and asked me to wait: she had the girls go and check her inventory off site and found me two pairs of tights in the exact size I needed.As a plus sized performer, it meant a lot to me that she took the time to go the extra mile to help.Much appreciated and I wore those tights in my show that very night! Will definitely shop here again, thanks so much ladies!
My experience wasnt the greatest. Was not greeted when I went into the store. When standing in the shoe area, one of the workers told me to wait by where some other customers were getting shoes fitted. So I waited with my daughters. After waiting, one of the workers finished, walked passed me and started talking to another lady that had just walked in and started to assist her. I let the worker know I had been waiting while she was helping the other customer. She didnt apologize she just asked what color shoes i needed... We didnt feel welcomed. We needed the shoes, otherwise I wouldnt have purchased there. Other than having the product we needed and the price wasnt bad. Horrible first impression.
Cannot say enough about their amazing service! We have always received great care at Dance Xrreme, but during COVID it was exceptional! Trying to keep out small businesses going! They took my order and helped over the phone and then without additional cost delivered a pair of ballet shoes to my doorstep in Parker!

I was also very impressed with the knowledge that sales representative Catherine had! She was so helpful and kind. Ive only ever bought Tap Shoes here and was always happy with both the service and the product here! The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about dance wear, I learned a lot by just coming here to shop about what I was buying. Also seen them help others with jazz shoes, ballet point shoes, and dance wear. I highly recommend.
This was my first time to visit this place. Let me tell you I felt really out of place when I walked in. But the staff was so welcoming, kind and helpful. Made my experience a very good one. I will be back!
It was worth the 7-hour drive! I feel so good about getting my daughters point shoes fit here--an investment in her feet for the rest of her life! So much knowledge, so much help.
We came in looking for a leotard for my 7 year old daughter. We were pointed to a rack with a small selection. After looking around for 20 minutes and not finding what we were after we decided to buy from amazon. The 2 ladies working in the store were to busy to help us out. Store seemed nice they had a large selection of stuff. Had we gotten some help we most likely would have spent some money.
I am completely new to the dance world and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They fitted both of my girls with their first ballet slippers and I felt confident in their expertise. The prices were very reasonable. I will certainly be back soon!

Prices are unnecessarily high. On the phone I was told that the dance skirts were $20. Got there, they were $40. The cashier was very nonchalant about it and said, well some are $20 and some arent. Had I not been in a rush and really needed these skirts, I would have left then there!

I am new to ballet. After trying a few other locations with unhelpful staff, I stopped in to try to find some shoes. Courtney was very helpful and took the time to explain all the different types and styles that would work for me. I ended up finding a great pair that fits like a glove. Highly recommend.
I would give less than one star if I could. The owner is ridiculously rude. I had everything still in the packaging, and they wouldn’t even exchange it for store credit, after promising to when I purchased, based on my circumstances, which I clearly explained up front. If they were nice, I would continue to do business here, in spite of their terrible policies. But they are the angriest, rudest, meanest. Do not do business here. Shop discount dance supply online instead. UPDATE: Once Vicky read my review, she refunded the full amount. I appreciate her attempt to make this right. Thank you Vicky!!
Very limited on eggplant color leotards. Only 2 styles in my daughters size which she already has.
Wont stand behind their product when they fail after a few uses. Jumped many false conclusions with out asking any questions to properly evaluate the usage and failure. Refused to see the item. I have used many such items. Many over 10 years old that continue in good condition. BE AWARE OF THIS.
This is a fantastic experience. The owner and staff are courteous and knowledgeable. They listen, make suggestions, and change their recommendations based on new information. They teach. They make dancers eyes shine.

This is the best place in Colorado to purchase pointe shoes. Colorado ballet dancers use it and the fitting has always been spot on. We drive 6 hours to get pointe shoes fitted from here. The customer service is nice and the knowledge of dance shoes top. There are many leotards, leggings, ballroom dancing shoes, jazz shoes, soft ballet shoes and everything a competitive ballerina, show ballerina dancer or gymnast needs.
I go to Dance extreme when ever I need anything dance related. They are very friendly and helpful! I go in for shoes often, and end up looking for a while at their huge selection of attire. They are very professional and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone!

Went in to get a new leotard, tights and ballet shoes for my daughter. The girls on staff were super helpful, and got us in and out in about fifteen mins, with a shoe fitting. Very friendly and knowledgeable, plus they give 10%off if youre on their email list
Very disappointed. Had no boys dance wear because boys dont have much variety said to me. I mentioned #boysdancetoo and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. Mentioned online and another local dance store has at least something. I was rushed out the door with no apology. Will not be returning back or referring this shop to any female dancers.Boys have a hard enough time in the dance world to be excepted and to not acknowledge them at all is even worse.

We love Dance Xtreme! My youngest daughter needed new pointe shoes and after a fitting at another store that was incorrect, we went to Vicki to get help! She was FANTASTIC and helped us find the perfect shoe. The care and time that Vicki took was much appreciated and we will be clients for life. We visited for the first time this weekend and Im amazed. Vicki and Connie are pros! They threw themselves into solving my daughters 2 year long struggle with the wrong pointe shoes and after much consideration, trial and error, and effort they wound up finding her what seems like the perfect fit. Not only did they help us address some past issues with her feet, but they also gave great advice about moving forward with this new shoe for her feet including exercises to help correct some weak foot issues caused by the last shoes. I would not go to anyone else in the Denver area! Their shop has a great selection of dancewear and accessories too. I cannot say enough good things about this shop - the whole staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and my daughter is thrilled with how good her new pointe shoes feel.

Terrible for pointe shoes, I have come here to get my pointe shoes fitted and they gave me two different sizes saying my feet were different from one another when they could not have just accommodated them with extra padding. These pointe shoes cause me a lot of pain even after having padding in the shoe with a toe pad too. Their leotards are very pretty but pricy and some are damaged. This place is good for getting flat shoes but usually want more money and you see by the high prices.
