These guys saved my butt with my car. Seriously, they did great work at a better price and helped me get back going where I needed to. They got my car up on a lift super fast, the bearings in my wheel replaced the same day, and had it done in time for me to get back home to go on vacation with my family. Cannot speak highly enough of this shop.

I just called and very helpful and great recommendations and super honest. The only reason I didnt go to this place was I needed a replacement tire and they dont do that they only fix tires. But very genuine and helpful. Im definitely going here in the future. Ask for Jason hes a great worker and customer service representative.

An honest, professional, and reliable car repair shop! My husband and I have brought our vehicles there multiple times and have always had great service. I just had a tune up and it was done in half the day with a good overall price. Daniel the manager is wonderful. He is honest, trustworthy, and has great customer service skills. I tried to replace struts on my car at home. After I removed one wheel & removed strut, I couldnt install new strut because I didnt have the right equipment.After researching local shops, I found A Gud Buy. I had my car towed & met Jayson. He told me he could get it in after lunch. This was around 9am. At 11, he called & said my car was ready. Thinking repair would be $400, I was relieved when bill was only 150.Great shop, great people.

I went in to get my transmission checked out, and they saved it with their help. I have been shopping around for a good honest mechanic for a while. My husband called this place. They got my car in and finished the same day we called. The staff was wonderful and very welcoming when I got there. The only thing I did not like was the drive way... no possible way to make a left! Lol! But thats the least of our worries!! 😉

Couldnt fix a simple coolant leak. Made unnecessary expensive repairs and left it worse than when I brought it in. Manager is highly emotional and refused to make it right. Would not reccomend this shop to anyone.

I had a great experience here. Another auto repair shop quoted me before I came to a gud buy auto repair and the quoted me way less and was way more friendly. Another thing was that showed how honest they were was it turned out it was 200 less than they thought and they actually called and told me instead of doing what another car shop would do and just keep it the same price.

Price way to high for simple job...$75 for 20 minute push of buttons....All done by a machine

Went to two other mechanics before taking my car here. The other two mechanics said that I had a blown head gasket. It was going to cost me over 2k . After asking around for a good a mechanic tobpreform this service, I was refered to these guys. They did a quick check up and found out that it was actually something a lot smaller. These guys saved me hundreds of dollars. I Will take any vehicle personal or of my company to these guys. They went above and beyond.

By far the best car shop experience Ive had in years. I broke down coming through greer and stopped by on chance. Not only were the super nice. But the pulled our car in and fixed the problem quickly and inexpensively. Couldnt have asked for a better shop. Thanks to all the guys there.

These prior reviews must be friends and family. Ive had my pickup there several times to correct two different problems. They finally found the cause of one problem, after more than $700 worth of ineffective repairs. They also worked on my AC vent selector valves, which are vacuum operated. Worked on it twice, still not right. In addition to it not being right, I now have no speakers working on left side of pickup, (they removed my dash) and have rain leaking in through the defroster vents. Nice folks, (especially Daniel, in the office) but they dont do quality work. (I met someone recently from a nearby shop who told me they get alot of jobs from where this shop attempted it first) Theyll never touch anything of mine again.

My first service item with Gud Buy was a good one ! I needed a oil change on my VW and the service was great. Smooth and easy. I wanted the OEM spec oil for my Jetta. I have always paid my car on time last weekend I felt something was wrong with my car I called Leticia which was very helpful as always told me to drop it off to the shop ended up a Jason calling me me saying the battery cable was loose I say ok fine but he cut off on me when I was driving to please drive it for a little bit and get back with me he was so rude wouldn’t listen to my plea just said that he wasn’t doing anything else then Chris called me said I could come get my car then I picked up up shocked he took my drivers side floor mat and threw it in my passenger seat and dirt was all in my cup holders and seats I don’t even understand why someone would be so disrespectful unfortunately the shop was already closed so I took pictures sent them to Leticia and advised her of what happened she apologized over and over and she would get with management..I do not like the way things have changed over with the new owners something needs to be done ASAP

Just as a little background info, I previously went to a different mechanic to have some major services performed on my 2003 Acura RSX, before going to A Gud Buy Auto Repair in Greer, SC to have them resolve what the other mechanic missed. The other mechanic was not as detail oriented or focused on excellent customer service as A Gud Buy Auto Repair is, and the other mechanic had missed an issue with my serpentine belt pulley/tensioner, so when they reinstalled my engine, the anchoring bolt came off.I could have been in for a very bad surprise on the side of the road!A Gud Buy Auto Repair found the issue right away that the other mechanic missed, and got my serpentine belt and tensioner diagnosed to be fixed right away. Their rates are very fair next to all of their competition and everything was handled properly the first time!
