I’m pretty new to the area and was put in contact with this shop through a trusted coworker. I’ve always had family friends work on our cars, so I never had to take it to a shop and taking it to a shop I was unfamiliar with worried me that I (as a female in my early 20s) could potentially also be taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge. The team at Advantage Auto was completely honest and had thorough, in-depth communication when it came to explaining issues with my vehicle. They proceeded only after my approval due to my tight budget and had my car done in two days. I honestly felt the same respect I’ve always felt from my family friends who have worked on my vehicles. I highly, highly recommended this shop.

Very honest. This is a very safe shop if your a female who doesnt know a thing about cars. Rest assured you wont get taken advantage of here and the place is very clean and professional.They had a nice coffee/seating area with a clean bathroom and another seating area outside. The mechanics seem very seasoned in what they do and were also very kind!

I’ve been looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic for a very long time and I’ve finally found one. I’ve taken my vehicle to Tim twice now and he is always very nice and provided great communication about my vehicle. He is fast and the prices can’t be beat. I won’t take any of my vehicles to anyone else.

Tim is an honest mechanic. He provides excellent service at competitive prices. I trust him to fix only what is broken, and I appreciate that he gives a plan of action for the future. (Example Your transmission fluid will need to be changed out next year or Next oil change we need to replace your air filter. He also sticks to the price quoted. I have never felt he was trying to upsell me on the repair. I highly recommend this repair shop.

Im so thankful to Tim for fixing the power steering pump in my car. He is professional, HONEST and DEPENDABLE! More than fair prices for such great work!!

Tim was fantastic, truck died in the parking lot of Greer Middle, went with Tim because, well he was close by, and we lucked out. He was rapid in his response, gracious and funny. Just got under the truck and got it into a drive-able state, gave us directions, and even a lift back to the school after he set up the truck. Service was reasonably fast while in the shop and the price was more than fair. All in all I cant say enough about him. I seriously wish I could put +++ after the five stars. I needed to get some work done on my pickup, so I called the shop to arrange dropping off my truck for repair. The person that answered the phone was very unhelpful and rude. If they can not tell you the hours they are open for business, I could only imagine the problems I will have after they try to fix my truck. This place has terrible customer service . 2-10-2010
