Joke of a business. Great items at good rates, but the people are horrible. Placed an order on Feb. 4, 2021 (paid in full) and was told early April delivery. It’s now May 24 and still no couch. Every time i call they get mad and get an attitude for me wanting to know why i still don’t have my item. I’m now consistently being told an additional month each time i call. Deeply regret doing business with these people.I NEVER leave negative reviews because i always give the benefit of the doubt. But this is an absolute joke. The attitudes and negativity from the staff tipped the scale.

I love going here! I always find something great for the space I want where it is in store or online. Mike & Hayes are both extremely helpful when I had questions or had a hard time finding an item for the space. Both were easy to work with, friendly, and had wonderful recommendations. I have ordered bar stools from them, 2 oversized chairs & a small table. All the items came in a timely fashion, and if there was a delay I was called right away. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years and have sent a handful of people here to buy things, since the old owners have left the store has lost a lot of that family feel and that great customer service me and my wife expect. My wife and I came in today to look at a couch and a few recliners and when asked about stock and matching sets I was met with oh just use our kiosk, NO HOW ABOUT YOU HAVE SOME SERVICE AND HELP ME LIKE I ASKED. I am not sure if we will be back in or not. I can tell you I will no longer recommend this place to anyone.

This place is great!! The prices are awesome. You can get really high quality furniture for a fraction of the price of fancy retail stores. All of the employees were super friendly and Isaac answered all of our questions ! We just bought a couch this time, but we will definitely be coming back for anything we possibly need for our place in the future!

I’ve bought 4 pieces of furniture from them at a decent price. I was able to have it customized the way I wanted. My couches and pillows feel awesome. I would recommend that their employees not smoke in the building. The smoke travels everywhere, even if their at the very back and have the bay door open.

Im giving them a 4, because they were not assisting the customers. I was there for about 20 minutes, no one ever came to assist me, my daughter had to call and let them know that we had been in the store for that lentgh of time. Then someone came to assist us. The person was very polite, and very knowledgeable about the merchandise. The reason Im giving them a 4 is because I believe you should be acknowledged upon arrival.

This place is really set up like a warehouse. There is a nice selection of furniture. You can buy some things as a set or buy them separately. They have everything from dinning room to bedroom furniture and they sell mattresses. They have a nice selection of mattresses also. The prices are a bit high, but they are cheaper than going to stores like Ashley. The furniture seems sturdy.The people are nice and helpful.

I have been shopping from the family furniture store for 20 years and I have never been disappointed with the structure nor qualities. My den set has up held a husband who has no kness flop backward in chairs. Two children who treat their bed as trampoline and 12 families members who treat the dining room table as an outdoor cement picnic table and it still look as good as the first day that I purchased it. I have bought furniture for high up scale stores and later regret the price I paid because I really couldnt enjoy the items. I would highly recommend this store to everyone.

We just moved to the area from California and are in need of furniture for our new house. We are on a budget, but still want quality nice looking items. In our search we came across Carolina Direct and decided to check them out. Im so glad we did! The warehouse is huge and well stocked with a large selection to choose from. Bedroom, dining room and living room, we could furnish the whole house...and stay on our budget. The bed we chose was only $449 priced elsewhere almost $1000. There were so many designs to choose from, I almost couldnt make up my mind. And the staff was friendly and helpful, but not in your face so we could take our time to look. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be back.

After shopping around for the best price on a specific sofa, I found the best deal at Carolina Direct. Over-the-phone ordering was easy and my sofa was ready for pick-up 6 days later. Even though delivery was offered, it was an easy process to pick it up instead. Once I unpackaged the sofa in my living room, I noticed a small tear in the fabric and a rather large gap between the seat backs (Reclining sofa). I emailed the sales rep with pictures and they put in a service request and part order immediately. A week later, Blake, their furniture technician, was contacting me to come out and repair the problems. He was so nice and very thorough as well. He replaced the fabric panel that had the tear and it looks good as new. The gap in the back was due to warping of the frame caused during transportation from the factory, so he ordered a new metal frame. A few weeks later, he was back again replacing the frame. I have been so pleased with the service I received at Carolina Direct! And my family loves our sofa. It isnt often that you find a store where you receive excellent service and a great value, but thats exactly what I found here. Thanks to the team for making shopping a pleasant experience!

Stacey and Isaac were who we dealt with. They are both fenomenal! Isaac is the reason we came back to buy more furniture, but Stacey helped us when Isaac was assisting someone else. The prices were great! We saw the same bedroom set at Unclaimed Furniture for $1,100 more than what we paid at Carolina Direct. We had a small issue with getting the incorrect head board and some light damage on the dresser (looked like a manufacturing flaw?) and Isaac handles it quickly and professionally. I always recommend my friends and family go here and our latest experience further solidified the reasons that I choose to shop here.

I have ordered several pieces of furniture with this company and each time they have been great to deal with. Each time I have ordered something, they did not have in stock they only asked for a small deposit and then allowed me to pay the total when the furniture came in! Very unassuming warehouse. Were very surprised as to selection and quality! Bought exact same couch brand new through them hundreds less than the name brand name home store in greenville. Delivery was when said it would be, the guys were professional, fast and helpful.

This store is like a warehouse setting with no bells and whistles but who cares? Terrible place to buy furniture. They try to rip you off the whole time. Each person who works there will give you a different price on the same item. Very unprofessional. Especially the lady who owes the place. She makes it sound like she’s giving you a deal but in reality she’s not because the same prices are online for the same item. Will never go back to that store!

Walked the entire floor. Nobody asked me if I needed any help. I actually did need help and am looking to buy bedroom furniture. Walked out-will most likely never walk in again. You need to greet every customer. That should be a habit and a given.

Too bad they cant answer their phone. That lost them a sale, instead I was able to find the exact piece of furniture I was calling about on Amazon and with free shipping to my door.

Bad experience. Owner Don did not trust us after giving him CASH for our furniture, and we did not even have any furniture yet. He even put on the bill do not bring furniture in house until he recieved his money first. He did not trust us, but we were supposed to trust him, with our CASH, but NO furniture!! Delivery was terrible cost me an extra $50 because he uses contract delivery, because he does not have his own trucks for shipping. Furniture is cheap, and so is he. Beware not to be trusted, we won’t be going back there.

First of all, Quality rating is unknown because I have yet to receive my order from Carolina Direct. I purchased an Ashley sofa on the 5th of January. Was given in writing that it would be approximately two weeks for it to arrive. After two weeks, called to check on status and was told it would be an additional 4 business days to get to the store. Called after 6 business days and was told the last person was incorrect and that they only get trucks every two weeks now. I was assured it would be in on Friday, Feb. 2nd. On Feb. 3rd, I called and spoke with a lady who said they had just opened and made it clear that I called to early for her to help me. She was extremely short with me and said that it is not scheduled for delivery until Monday Feb. 4th. She said that they dont get deliveries until the truck is full. She also mentioned that we knew it was a back order purchase and discontinued which was new information to me. She said they will not refund my money. When I asked to please speak with a manager, she said she would have one call me and then hung up on me. There are plenty of other furniture stores in the area with the same selection and pricing. The staff at Carolina Direct is neither informed, honest or easy to work with.
