I love this location. And now people are coming from out of nowhere wanting service. This location been self check out. Go to Wal-Mart on Manhattan with your complaining. Seriously. They have People like me who enjoy self check out and prefer it that way. Dont want to wait in the long lines? Stop coming over here making the lines long! We didnt have this before IDA. Go back to where you came from with your negativity and 1 star rating. Seriously.

Overall a very well run Walmart. At times the check out line is long but the staff doss try to minimize the waiting time. Not a large auto supply section and at times due to the store being so busy an item like single roll paper towels may need to be restocked. Staff usually very friendly and helpful.

There is a disconnect between this store and the grocery delivery service. If you want delivery from the westbank, it’s probably best to go with Behrman. After I was told to contact the store by customer service, the pick up associate told me they do not speak with the drivers even when they see them and that even though he can see my order in the store, they have no contact and I would need to organize my own driver to pick up the delivery. I realize the delivery is a convenience, but it is 4 days after my delivery time and the tracking says it is on its way. The store is about 8 minutes from the house so it shouldn’t take days. I just didn’t have a car available that day to use.

Dont like there are no cashiers. Just self checkout. Means less jobs for people. But the store is clean & well stocked.

The worst! My first time in that particular one. The line to check out was wrapped around in the store. Customer service liene SEEMED shorter, but took as long as the self check line. 30 mins just to check out one item. But hey its Walmart, what else should you expect.

If I have to scan and bag my own grocery. I believe I should be paid. I rather go somewhere and get service. And I feel Walmart does not provide any customer service.

It was cool. Very cool. Mightve been 68 degrees but the store surprisingly accessible. The staff was very helpful and assistive. The shelves were dust free the checkout was fast and very convenient. Miss Estrella was polite yet professional. She strikes as the type who isnt afraid to get her hands dirty. I would most definitely recommend this store to all that are interested or curious. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

BEST Walmart Ive ever been to; extremely polite & friendly staff.

Horrible! I do not like self checkout. The register messed up several times. Wouldnt scan some items and then charged me the wrong price for several items. Had to get an employee to help. Then, she had problems as it wouldnt take her employee number so she could fix the problem. It took at least 10 minutes if not more to finally get it straight. Bring back checkers. I came home and told family I will not be going back to any Walmart unless they have employees that are manning the registers.

Covenient and great location, selection and products .Facility is always clean including the restrooms, staff friendly and helpful when needed. Has a gas station in parking lot as well. Easy access off the bridge and nearby my daughters school. A literal one stop shop❣️

The place is small but well organised and looks clean, the only thing was heading out when someone behind me in line trying to tell me & my daughter to go to the other side of the self checkout machines and start a line there ... (Crazy lady no doubt ) we were actually standing right behind the very next person to self checkout so no point in walking 15 yards to follow instructions from a nobody who wasnt even employed by Walmart

Liked how the store had in stock everything I needed to buy. It was not crowded so I was able to get what I needed quickly and safely. However, very vey disappointed that there are only self checkout registers available!! No more person cashiers at this store. I had a cart full of groceries that I had to scan and pack myself. I feel sorry for people that have challenges using self check out registers. There were 2 employees directing traffic n assisting as needed.. I had to ask for assistance with ringing up veggies and fruit. If I am going to scan and pack my own groceries, Walmart should reduce prices on all their products 🙃!!!

The staff has bad attitudes. I was starred down a couple times.

Did curb side pickup. After calling to let them know I was there they had the groceries to the car within 3 mins. Although happy about that I was very upset when I arrived home and saw I didnt get 5 cans of ABCs and 123s I ordered for my son.

Quick food shopping location. Small but clean. Didnot have all the stuff i was looking for. It does not have all the selections you can see from regular supercenter.

What doesnt it have? from 2 qt bottles of naked smoothies to sharpies. Thanks for existing in such a convenient place

This walmart has a Pringle section with alot of variety.

This store is more focused in selling food than anything else which makes it better for anyone just looking for food items. That way you dont side track in other stuff that you probably dont even need. There is a decent amount of people shopping but is not too crowded. The store does offer money services which is convenient and has a gas station outside. Overall is a very convenient store

After grocery shopping and spending 293.00. I have to scan lookup and bag ALL ITEMS FOR MYSELF BY MYSELF WHILE EMPLOYEES ARE STANDING AROUND WATCHING. This is ABSURD AND NOT CONVENIENT OR CONSIDERATE. Wowed and I never leave negative reviews about a business and there mannerisms. I will this time . Eva

Nice place to shop if you only have a few grocery items to get. I only purchased 2 items, so I was in and out of there within 10-15 minutes. Cashier was quick at checking customers out.

I always enjoy shopping at Walmart is new Orleans or in Chicago.

That particular Wal-Mart, I dont mind spending my money. THE EMPLOYEES ( ALL ) are so polite an they dont give me any problems when I need an item or two out of a secure compartment. The Employees at that location actually have a decent conversation ( Respectly) with the customers . I appreciate the staff members at that particular Wal-Mart location. Each time Im on that side of the river I shop there, its so convenient and less drama free

Nice service, lines move along nicely. Friendly cashier... Pharmacy experience was nice too... Way better than the (Walmart on Lapalco in Marrero. Bad staff, bad pharmacists, bad service, bad customer service, nasty attitude employees, black females mostly, one asian female, and one old white female. I wish they get employees like at this one over there quickly. Almost every visit is grueling.) This Walmart gets an A+ overall.

Absolutely Excellent, Clean Store, Great Selections and Prices..I Come All the Way from the Eastbank on Public Transit and i live Right near a Rouses on Baronne..However This Store I can Get A Months Supply of fruit and Veggies at a Much lower Price and Greater Selections..Negative side =Lots of Business But only 3 Lines and few Cashiers But They Moves Swiftlyand were Very Polite.,and Self Checkouts were also Available. All in all my Experience Here is Always Fast, Friendly, Curteous and Professional when I Visit this Location...I Highly Recomend this Store..5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

For the first few months it was great, and has gone downhill greatly since. The past week alone theres been no end at the outside fuel station, since new management they start closing at 11:00 instead of midnight, and the selection started out a little more upscale and has since backslid. The younger kids are friendly, but theres a bunch of being on the phone instead of working. The baskets tend to be everywhere outside, and a few times no baskets at all. Theyve also got rid of the hand baskets, for some reason. Very disappointing since they are four blocks from my house and is very convenient.

For some reason the gas station is routinely unmanned. Did you want to pay cash and buy a Slim Jim? Too damn bad

Im handicapped and cant shop there cause they dont have any handicapped scooters. Ive complained several times to the manager to no avail. Ive even complained to ADA about it. They employees are rude and not always helpful. Bad experience

Always fresh produce section, and have a good variety of organic vegetables and herbs. Meats always look great as well. Not much of a seafood section in this store. Fairly new store,everything is clean. Handicap accessible parking and entrance. Also have self checkouts. I drive from marrero to get produce here sometimes. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Dont like self check out

This Walmart Neighborhood Market is cool, but they put up stock during the day. Sometimes you go in trying to pick up a few items for dinner after work and theres pallets everywhere, stock people putting up stock blocking the hallways and making it next to impossible to navigate without constantly running in to people and employees. Besides that, its good. On stock days, dont get a buggy. Only get what you can carry and thank me later...

Some employees do not seem to understand that social distancing and masking not your chin but your nose and mouth is a thing, while walking around in the store and working the counter. This utter disregard of guidelines is very upsetting.

No customer service. I have been there a few times now. Staff is rude and act like customers are an inconvenience. There was no shopping carts available or hand baskets. When I asked why there were no shopping carts available to shoppers. The woman at the customer service booth statedit was raining Im from a state where snow falls. On any given day RAIN or SNOW I have a cart available to me as a shopper. Walmart is about low prices and convenience. Nothing about my experience at this Walmart has ever been convenient. Often they dont even have what I need I stock. Worst experience at a Walmart this far. I highly recommend you avoid this location even if it means changing your grocery provider

Went there once on a Friday, and found it less crowded than other Wal-Marts that have products more than just groceries. The store was clean and the selection of goods excellent. Will definitely go there again when in need of groceries.

The best Walmart in the United States!!! Always kept so clean, shelves are always stocked or being stocked, employees so friendly, carts work and always back in the store, has everything I am looking for. I live in Elmwood 1 mile from the biggest Walmart in LA and travel across the river to go to Gretna. I cannot deal with how bad the Walmart on Jeff Hwy is, so the ride to Gretna is a stress reliever. What more can I say, I Love This Store!!!

It was ok/so-so. These are the main qualities (or lack there of) that I rate all these stores on are: cleanliness, how well stocked they are/arent, and employee helpfulness/friendliness. The store was clean and the employees were great, the ones I had contact with anyway. The employee, that I dealt with, was super helpful and nice. (08/01p.m. A super- duper tall, 30s, kinda-stocky-but- not-fat black man- dont know his name. Just wanted to say thank you! He did this for multiple customers while I was there.) He went in the back cooler and looked for a couple of gallons of whole milk for me, but def didnt have to. But, above all, he did it with a pleasant attitude and a smile. Makes all the difference! I will go many miles out of my way to shop at a store where Im treated with respect and friendliness, rather than disstain, contempt, or disrespect! My only complaint about this Neighborhood Walmart is, every single time Ive been in there, I NEED whole milk for my son. They are always out of whole milk in every brand and size? How does this happen on a daily basis? If daily youre out of the same product... ORDER MORE NEXT TIME?!?!? OBVIOUSLY!!!! INVENTORY IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! J.S. Its just so freaking annoying to have to go to 2 separate grocery stores (the same night) every time youre grocery shopping- just to get milk from the 2nd one! Thats my only complaint tho, they just need more efficient and more consistent inventory orders/purchasers...
