This is my first review ever. Oh boy. Go there at your own risk. Youll pay more and more than what your belongings are worth. They will find a way to bill you even after you leave. Check out the positive reviews. Ask yourself why so many people create one account just to leave one glowing review about the managers. Even better, some people write reviews for the same company at two different locations. These reviewers must really love this company. During the pandemic, everyone is struggling but this companys main goal is to raise rent and rip you off anyway they can. Again. Beware.

I wish I read the negative reviews before renting from these people. I removed everything on 6/30. But, the so called sweet nice manager hangs up on me and put in my account i left on 7/4. She charges me 131 dollars for the entire month of July. Im letting the words out to not...I repeat not rent from them. Dont believe their first month half off. They will charge you 30% whenever they feel like it for absolutely no reason.

Went to Public Storage on Belle Chasse the ladies there were very nice to us.

This location is better than the rest. After contacting several public storage locations I found this one which not only had the exact unit I NEED EDUCATION but provided me with what i consider OUTSTANDING service. Natalie was fantastic. And even gave me a no hassle refund after I made a silly impulse purchase. I definitely will be doing all my storage business with this location ONLYbe doing all mu storage business with this location and this location Only.

The women at this location are very warm welcoming to the customers. Every time I go to pay my bill I am greeted with a hello and a smile. The area is always clean. When I am there I see them checking the area. They pay attention to what is going on on the property. Over all I love the way they welcome the customers. I do think that your company should have a customer courtesy discount on the move in date of the anniversary. I have rented since 2011 and it seems like every year the price goes up. I am pretty sure there are others who would recommend this as well.

I was amazed by the hospitality & knowledge Dashuana had shown while I was there. She handle us with a polite tone & I would recommend a friend.

I went into the Gretna, LA Public Storage to get information about renting a storage unit. Natalie helped me and it was a less stressful experience than I had expected.I dreaded having to decide on what I really needed and she had so much knowledge and led me to rent the largest storage that you have which a perfect size once it was filled. She was efficient, very professional and clear about my options. Thanks to Natalie, I was able to finish my business quickly and go about my day. Thanks.

Many layers of security, especially if you have a climate controlled unit. We feel very safe storing our belongings here. This city is small enough that paying half the price for a unit on the other side of the river really isnt that bad.

All of my furniture was ruined by a leak in the roof. What wasnt water damaged was covered in mold.According to them Public Storage is not responsible for your belongings. They also said it should be thought of as storing your belonging in an outside shed. I can somewhat agree with that as I dont expect everything to be clean when I pull it out, but I do expect it to be usable when I pick it up. If this is the norm, why would anyone pay to store things here? What service are you providing if your customers cant be reasonably assured that their belongings will come out in a similar condition as when they were brought in? Basically, over the course of roughly 1 year, I paid them $1250 to ruin my belongings. Then had to go remove them.The lady on site is nice, though wasnt able to help. I spoke to her district manage who was no help. I then got in touch with regional manager who just kicked me back down to the manager below her. All answers were we arent responsible and thats what insurance is for.In short, if you arent terribly connected to your belongings then store them here. Just be sure to over insure them.

Public storage in Gretna,La has great customer service. Dashauna was very helpful and had some of the best customer service that I have seen so far.

This company has THE WORST customer service that I have EVER witnessed. From the local attendant, Jan, to two District Managers, Daniel and Miranda, I was talked down to, cut off when trying to speak, belittled, and very under appreciated as a customer. This was all once i FINALLY was able to talk to a manger...Daniel does not answer calls nor does he return them.. I do not recommend this company AT ALL based on the lack of respect and ill mannered treatment that I recieved. I would gladly pay a few more dollars with a competitor and be treated like a human being. I strongly urge you not to support this company!!

I experienced a horrific customer care situation at the Harvey location to call it disgusting at least. The district manager took care of it and referred me to the gretna location. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Jan & Dashauna knew Of the situation and were extremely friendly and helpful. Apologized on behalf of other employees which showed class on their part for the lack of class of the Harvey location employee. I am very thankful for the manager, Karina, for the resolution and the Gretna location for the professionalism. Highly recommend Gretna. They receive the 5 stars! Well done

Just moved in. The staff, Jan and DeShauna is excellent. Best prices for the area.

Let me begin by saying that Natalie in the front office was wonderful and very helpful. That said, I used this storage unit for 6 years, paying $120 a month (the rate started much lower). When I opened my unit (in the F building) there was extensive termite damage and evidence of rodents (droppings and large gnaw marks on wooden furniture). Roaches and spiders were thriving in there as well. If the item was not glass or metal it had to be thrown away. All of my furniture, linens, childhood toys, books, and artwork were destroyed. I would absolutely never recommend the use of this facility or this company. But if you do, make sure you are not being assigned to the F building. I am not the first person this has happened to in that specific building.

To be honest, my experience here much beyond my expectation! My friends registered a storage unite here without telling me the unit number, and they forgot full in the full information of theirs or mine. So by the time I arrived at the Public Storage with all my packages alone, the front office just couldnt find the right unit. I was so upset and though about rent another unit at the time (my friends just didnt answer my phone at the time), but the lady at the front desk helped me to search for my unit again and again, including names, phone numbers, and finally found mine with address. Thank her so much for not giving up! After that she also helped me to carry all my stuffs to my unit, which was such a frustrated work if I have to do it by myself. That lady was sooooo nice, and I definitely recommend this public storage spot!!!

Good size storage facility and units, but its all one floor.

Lord forbid you have a whole lot of stuff because they don’t even have carts or buggies to transport your stuff from your car to the unit. The district manager doesn’t even answer the phone when you call.

Clarence and Sheila gave me excellent customer service today I was a customer at cube smart and my unit was broken into and no one called me so I moved here to public storage and was assured by Sheila that my stuff would be safely stored here and in the event if anything I would be notified immediately Thank You again public storage
