I took my car here to obtain an estimate. The estimate took 5 days. My car was damaged from being improperly placed on a lift. They did not notify me of the damage. Upon finding the damage they fixed it free of charge. Just the damage from the lift. Nothing else was repaired. However it is not done correctly. They returned my car to me WITHOUT THE FRONT BUMPER REATTACHED. My car came back from an estimate looking worse than when it went in. I emailed the shop manager and have not received a response. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs!!!!!!

Bought my 2019 Colorado in Oct. 2019 bought my wifes 2020 Equinox Feb.2020 and today just bought our Son his first brand new vehicle a 2020 Equinox to replace his 2014 GMC Terrain that he bought used and took a dump on him. *UPDATE* - 10/13/2020Finally received a call back from Byers after two weeks since my appointment with them. Still NOT happy with them. I talked to one of their service people and he basically stated that if I wasnt happy, that hed arrange for another appointment to get my horn fixed right but I would STILL have to pay FULL PRICE for the repair! I already paid them nearly $300.00 just for them to trim and reseat my radiator hose and to take apart and reseat my horn contacts in my steering wheel. I thought that if I paid the $300 that at least it would be fixed properly and I wouldnt have to worry about it anymore. WRONG! They just did a temporary fix and want me to pay an additional $156.00 to fix the horn properly! For the work they did, the price was ridiculous! I told the guy that they were charging too much and his excuse was we price according to our competitors in the area. I told him that if they would make it right and fix it for free that I would be happy. He very bluntly told me that we wont fix it for free. Having my horn not working is a safety issue for me and others! For the price I paid (if not less), Im sure that other dealers probably would have got my horn fixed right. I saw another review where someone was complaining about Byers price gouging and that they got much better service pricing at other Chevy dealers in the area. Needless to say, I made it known to them that I am NOT happy and that I will NEVER be back! Ive been into many dealerships for service in my time and this is by far the worst service Ive received!*UPDATE* - 10/9/2020Got contacted by their customer service rep and I called her back and left a message, still no call back from her after a week. I also reached out to Byers via email and got no helpful response. This place is a JOKE! Do not do business here! I lowered my review to 1 star because of my anger and frustration!Way overpriced service! I brought in my 2003 TrailBlazer to Byers Chevrolet to have the horn looked at and a coolant leak from the upper radiator hose fixed and I waited for about three hours for them to get it all done. They also did the work without giving me a real quote first, just their “diagnostic fee” which was quoted to be around $270.00. My jaw dropped when they said that! This is a Chevy, NOT a luxury car! The service advisor I worked with said that the repair cost could be less if it didn’t cost them that much. I’ve been to a Cadillac dealer in Cincinnati and their diagnostic fee was $100.00 and that got dropped if you did the repairs and their service and prices were WAY more reasonable! This is a Chevy, NOT a Cadillac! Why is Byers so expensive? Needless to say, they charged me $135.00 to fix my horn which they did without replacing any parts and they said it’s possible it could stop working again since they didn’t replace the switch. They should’ve replaced the switch for the $135.00 cost they charged me to fix it! Also, the coolant leak they fixed by trimming my upper radiator hose and they charged me the same $135.00 for that! What a ripoff! Needless to say, I will never be back at Byers for the prices they charge! Absolutely ridiculous!

Just purchased a Silverado from Alex, it was an awesome experience. He had lots of upgrade info and really took his time while we explored multiple options. He respected us as customers and we felt appreciated and valued. Selection is extensive and the pricing is very reasonable. Got an extremely fair deal on my Honda Crosstour trade. 46 days and trade is not paid off!!! Customer service miss!!!!
Been here a couple of times now for service. Waiting room is spacious with free coffee/water. Worth the hour wait for my oil change as they as washed the SUV as well.
I dont hate Byers I just dont know whats is going on. I called a week prior and before Christmas i dropped off the 2003 Tahoe that I bought new from Byers Dublin that now has 160k miles. they called me a week after that they could not find it and afterwards they did they said that it needed gas. a week later when they got it in and they said it needed a fuel pump and would be about $1k. I have not heard anything from them since either saying it is ready, pay the bill or anything. I hope they are taking care of my baby?

If I could rate this place no stars I would. I understand when you are buying a used vehicle you shouldnt expect a brand new vehicle but to have so many problems right after you purchase it is ridiculous. We feel totally scammed. Problem after problem, after we were told the car had been thoroughly checked. Now we have to pour thousands of dollars, we dont have, into a car we just purchased. All we wanted was a reliable bigger vehicle for our expanding family. We traded in our WORKING vehicle because it wasnt enough room. Now we are stuck with a bunch of fixes not to mention their finance department is a complete joke. I will never recommend this place to anyone, in fact, the exact opposite. If you want a money pit stop here!
We had been shopping for a late model Silverado 3500HD for several months when we came across two vehicles we were interested in looking over at Byers Chevrolet in Grove City. We called ahead since the dealership is about 60 miles from where we live and were quite lucky to speak with Jordan in used car sales. The five star ratIng we give Byers is mostly due to his excellent service and the personal interest he showed in making sure we were satisfied throughout the process and after the sale. Both vehicles were ready for us to test drive and Jordan was there to answer our questions. When we made our choice and began the negotiations, as is the case at most dealerships, we dealt with his ‘manager’. Josh stuck to the point and did a good job. No one ever wants to pay the price, but we are satisfied with his work on financing and dealing.It was not all completely rosy though. We are a bit miffed at having to “share” the cost of some interior repairs that seemed a bit more costly than reasonable. If we had it to do again that would probably not happen, but it had been a long search... And, somehow minor body damage showed up between the time we cut the deal and when we went to pick up the truck. That necessitated returning the truck for a body shop appointment. We don’t think we missed the damage during the first visit, but it was winter in Ohio. In the end it was not too big a deal I suppose and they did fill the tank for us. The body shop did great work, although the ‘manager’ decided they could not go the cost of a $20 4x4 decal for the repaired fender. But, what the heck - there’s always Ebay.We will also put in a plug for the finance officer - she was helpful and explained everything well.In general, we are pleased with the experience and will consider Byers in the future. Honestly, we do wish they were a bit closer so we could use Byers for service. If your are in the market for a vehicle, we encourage you to visit BYers in Grove City - it was worth the extra drive for us. Many thanks to Jordan.
Probably my worst car buying experience so far. Was in the dealership for 4 hours to purchase the car. Took 2 months to get the loan and title. Bank kept saying it was on the dealership and every time I called the dealership they said they would get back with me. They never did. Took me constantly calling them to finally get a response. They had me fill out the wrong contract. Had to make a special trip back to make a new contract to submit to the bank.Byers didnt tell me I had to free oil changes when I purchased the vehicle another dealership did.Service business hours are horrible.An hour to hour and half for an oil change is ridiculous. Worst waiting room Ive been in. No free drinks but water. No free snacks. Just vending machines. Small magazine selection.Going to use my free oil changes and never come back

It was a wonderful experience dealing with your team.I had been to two different Chevy dealers in Columbus and no one could get me what I wanted. They were pushing me to the trucks in their lot which did not meet my needs.Brad contacted me and said why not order your truck. Never know that was an option. Stopped by your dealership to discus and the process seemed easy.Tom ordered my truck with exactly what I wanted on the truck. He said it would take 30 to 45 days’ to be delivered to the dealership. He called me when the truck was ordered and when it was being made. It was delivered to your dealership in 40 days.Tim worked with me to get the price where it needed to be. He took the time to answer all my questions.I will never buy a Chevy from another dealer (and that’s all I buy) in Columbus. If you treat all your customers like I was treated, you should do a great business.After driving my truck for a week now I could not be happier on my choice in both dealership and truck.I just hope your service department is as good! 😊
Took my car in for an issue and they couldnt recreate the issue. There is a service bulletin out for a specific part but they said my problem wasnt from that even though my problems were exactly what were in the service bulletin! I had to deal with Jake Hacker and the service manager Mark and they were not helpful at all. Now I still have a car that will shut down completely at any time and Im out the $120 for them to do nothing. It is a safety issue but honestly they couldnt care less about us and just take our money and run. It was awful and I will never be back nor will I ever own another Chevy beyond this one!

About two months ago I was in a really bad wreck and my car got totaled. I came to Byers, because its right by my work to look for a car. I talked to Juan and told him I was interested in a 2017/2018 Impala. So he continues to show me a brand new Impala that was in the show room, way above what I was willing to spend on one and went back to his finance manager to start paperwork to buy the car. He came back and started asking me to sign things and I told him it wasnt the car I wanted and I wanted to see other Impalas. He showed me like two more, but after he showed me the first one and tried to get me to start signing things to buy it I was done and disappointed. My mom also bought a car from them years ago and they completely screwed her, so I wont be doing business with them ever again.
I recently purchased a new truck from Byers. I absolutely love the truck, however, the quality of service I received was sub par. The sales person I worked with was polite, but knew absolutely nothing about the truck I was interested in. Luckily, I already did my research and knew what I wanted. When it came to financing, they took much longer that I expected. When we finally worked out a deal, at the recommendation of the finance person I worked with, I got my loan through a credit union. This financial institution never sent me a shred of mail with my account number, payment book, or anything for that matter. I had to call to get that info. Now that its time to make my first payment, this company is very limited as to how they can accept payment from a bank that isnt theirs. They basically trap someone into opening a checking or savings account with them if I want to pay online. I will most definitely be refinancing next year. As for Byers goes, I will not be returning to their dealership.

I have never had issues with service from Byers until today. I had schedule routine service on my vehicle and promptly arrived @ 6:55 am for a 7:00 am service appt. Left the car to be serviced after being told it would be 45 minutes, which it never is 45 minutes. At 10am, still no call to say My car is ready for pick-up. I call Byers service and was told that Waiters get priority. I was not made aware of this and had an appt. There was no charge for my service, but their customer service for long standing GM/Chevy owners with appts leave a lot to be desired
So I got a 2018 Chevy Cruze on Monday and I am in love with it Brett and Tim really took care of me and they still are they are great and I recommend this place to anyone so go see Brett and Tim today if you want great excellent service

Very unprofessional dealership. I did an online application on friday and it was approved. I was given a delivery appointment for Saturday. Nobody call to confirm so I called them 3 times and sent an email and no answer. 3 hours after the appointment I got a phone call telling me that the application I had filled out needed to be resubmitted because they do not use that one anymore, although its the one on the link on every car. I filled out the new application on Saturday at 1:00 pm. I got a confirmation email. Monday at 6:27pm I get a call asking if I live in Columbus because the phone number on my app is not local. ????? What the hell?. Since when do you need a local phone number to get a car. Anyways, he said he was going to call me back in 20 minutes for a final decision (after I got to emails with the approved on it.) Today is Wednesday and still no phone call. Never again.
I have tried to work with the parts department several times since they are now the closest Chevy Dealer. However I have found them to always be more expensive than other area dealers for Chevy parts. Today, was the final straw! I called in to Byers and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Jodi and he was plain rude. Once he gave me the price of $117 & stated he would need to order the part, I thanked him and said I would call around town to see if others had it in stock. He then said: well hold on and Ill check he apparently thought I had hung up the phone and then stated Well never mind then in a pissy tone and hung up. I called immediately back and spoke to Jodi again and explained to him that I had hear him said hold on and then when he assumed I had hung up, I also heard him say in a pissy tone, Well, never mind then. He sort of stumbled for words and then again offered to look up the stock of other dealers but that is when I let him know I will never deal with Byers and I can order GM parts from GMs online site and it was going to be much cheaper and they arent rude. I would pay more money for respectful service than cheap prices for a poor attitude. Too many other options to deal with bad apples.

I asked for a quote to replace my tires (GM dealership is supposed to match or beat other offers) they said they would get back to me after checking with the parts department. Byers never did call me back with a tire quote.
