I stopped in here after driving around trying to find a mechanic to fix my Yukon that I bought from next door to this place. They guy at the front was so rude, had a nasty attitude, and acted like they had no interest whatsoever in me doing business there. I also tried to explain what was going on with my truck so I could hopefully get a rough estimate and he kept telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about (I’m assuming because I was a woman). In fact, I knew very much what I was talking about. Basically they just had no interest in fixing my vehicle. Not welcoming at all!

Rich meticulously checked all electrical components and kept me informed every step of the way. Extremely happy with the work these guys did!

The manifold on my F150 was broken. I called all over the City to exhaust shops.. Nobody wanted to do the work on my vehicle. Finally Mad Hatter said they would look at it. When Mad Hatter said they couldnt do the repair, I was bummed out. This place was recommended by Mad Hatter. When I arrived for my appointment, I was impressed by the customer service and how pleasant the folks were. But I never imagined my experience would be so great. My truck was repaired the same day, and didnt cost anywhere near what I expected to pay. All of the horror stories were put to rest, and my truck is running better than it was when I bought it. Thank you so much!!!! I will return here for all of my vehicle needs before going anywhere else!!

I was in a bind at the end of the day and they were extremely willing to go out of their way to help me to make sure I didn’t get into a worse situation. I was taken care of right away and was in and out quickly. I’m so thankful for these guys!

Without a doubt what a standup professional and caring individual. I had a very unique situation with my daughter that is 22 years old and was traveling back to UC. She had what she felt was an issue with her Dodge Nitro, she is a typical girl that does not have a great deal of understanding mechanically of vehicles. However, she thought she noticed the vehicle was acting different and was driving out of norm. She stopped by Complete Auto Repair and Service and they ran a complete computer scan and drove her vehicle numerous times with and without her, asked a series of questions, genuinely caring and trying to find the issue (mom and dad are over 100 miles away during this time). He spent over an hour with her and the vehicle. They did not find any issues and concluded that it was a series of things that occurred that caused the vehicle to act different. The shop refused to take any money for his time and service even after I (the dad) called and spoke with him directly (she was already on the road headed to UC). I want to thank you for being there and supporting her in a tough time, she had no place to go but AAA and the loss of days to tow her vehicle back home and schedule a auto appointment or a rental. There are not many people and companies like this one out there. The people who work here are really down to earth, approachable and make you feel important. I got hit by a deer in my truck and they fixed up the car great and went above and beyond with their service. I took my 2 year old son with me into the shop and they were friendly to him as well. One day they gave him a candy bar and another day a man asked if my son was hungry to give him some breakfast. Good people, good service. I’ll be back for sure if I have any more car problems.

Andrew and the people here took a cruddy situation my wife and I ran into with our car and turned it into as enjoyable of an experience as possible. The work was high quality and the prices were fair. We will continue to take both vehicles here for service moving forward. I brought my work van in when it was having a mysterious misfire condition and would cut out and die. Rich and his team diagnosed the problem and fixed it. No guessing and installing unnecessary parts. Great efficient work! Now my van runs great again. Been driving about a month with zero issues. I had some wiring issues, so I checked out the work. I went in on a Saturday morning with my younger brother to have some work done on my car. I was greeted by Richard who answered all my questions and more! Richard explained everything prior to starting and updated me frequently during my time in the lobby. Richard offered water and coffee and even donuts for my younger brother! Multiple people came in and out of the shop and all were happy with their experience. I watched Richard treat EVERY call and in-person interaction like family and can’t say how impressed I am with the quality of customer service! Everybody I interacted with was kind and helpful. They even stayed a little after their regular hours to finish my car in the same day! I asked Richard about a few other things and he bluntly said I did not need that work done right now and he would not do it unless I really wanted him too because he said it would add more money to my bill for a service I did not need at the moment. Not to mention my car is running amazing since I left! I will be back for any work I need done and I took multiple cards to give to friends and family!

I was out of town without my husband and my alternator went out on my van. Not only was he closed, but waited for me to get there, and took me to my hotel. I couldn’t have asked for better service. So glad Richard was there and went the extra mile. Would HIGHLY recommend his shop to anyone in the area of Columbus/Grove City or travelers in the area. Great customer service and had my van fixed the next day by noon with a VERY reasonable rate especially for being on a Saturday.

Excellent service! I took a used vehicle here to be inspected before buying. They checked it out thoroughly and found things that I would have never known until I bought it and it was too late. The men at Complete Auto have always been honest and fair with my car repairs. I have had both of my vehicles taken care of there. Most recently my Volvo. After the repair they asked me to bring it back in 7-10 days to recheck everything. They very nice and I wont take my vehicles anywhere else!

I called them and told them I need some work done to my car. They told me they were closing soon but to bring my car to them and they will take a look at it. I showed up and they took my car right in. Soon after, he comes out and gives me the diagnosis and the costs. I was told that if I want to get the work done they are willing to stay after. While the car was being worked on my fiance and I were even given a ride back to our house. We got a call soon after that we can come back to pick up the car. The price was reasonable for the work done. Would definitely recommend to others and would go back.

Wow! I wish I could give them 10 starts. Boy, does Rich know his stuff!! I brought in a used car that I was hoping to buy off Craigslist and Rich walked me through every little detail. He could spot every repair, every small paint touch up that had been done within minutes of checking the car out. He was thorough, straightforward, and very honest. I would definitely not have had the confidence to buy this car if it hadnt been for his check through and heres-the-facts honesty. I came up from Cincinnati, this was my first time coming in but I was treated like a customer whod been coming there forever. It would def be worth coming up from Cincinnati if I ever need any car work done. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough! What a great auto shop experience, I would trust them with anything I could ever need car wise. So nice and helpful too!

I have never been to a place that is more honest and upfront than Complete Auto Repair. Family owned and operated, which means a lot to me. Rich (owner) is a mechanic too, not just one of those guys who pushes a pencil in the office. They take the time to explain things in laymans terms that the everyday guy can understand. Theyll even print out a copy of the part of the engine that they will be working on so you can see it in black and white. (which really helps me) I have never had to take my car back on account of something not working correctly that was repaired. A GREAT find and I will never go any place else for my auto maintenance.

Friendly staff. Took the time to come out and look at my car without an appointment and he didnt charge me. The dealership was going to charge 99 dollars just to look at it. My door was catching at the frame and he was able to temporarily fix.

Complete Auto Repair is a great place to fix any car issues. I have known Rich for many years now and during that time he and his crew have taken care of both my old Honda and Toyota solving many problems. Whenever I take the car to the shop there they are courteous, friendly and provide an excellent service. Rich and his crew members personally explained me about the problems and fixes needed. This helps me understand clearly the effort involved and the cost. Before I used to take my cars to the dealerships or the big chains and felt they were expensive. As a family-owned small business I am glad to give them my business and they always treat me with integrity and honesty. Some of the things they have fixed on my cars include fixing oil leaks, door and belt issues, etc. More recently they identified and solved an issue with engine exhaust getting into my Toyota. Overall I strongly recommend this place for any auto repairs.

Took my diesel in for repair. Had clutch issues. They took care if the problem quickly! Runs like new again. I had it at dart automotive 3 times and wasted $600 and about 8 weeks of not having my truck. Never again! These guys are my to go place for any mechanical work i may have in the future!

Went in for an AC repair with a known leak and a check engine light fix. They spent two days with the car called me and said theres no ac leak and we need to replace your egr valve its going to be $700, they said the components are already taken apart so we need you to decide now. So I went through with the work and within the hour after picking it up the check engine light flicked on again and the ac had already lost charge! A couple months later I meet a guy at the bar whos a mechanic and Im talking about this repair and how much it cost me and his exact words were you got ripped off I said ok where do you work maybe Ill take it there and he says complete auto repair and service on Harrisburg Pike... my frustration stems from before taking my car here even jiffy lube could tell me I had an ac leak within 5 minutes and these guys couldnt manage to find one in two days! Also being told by one of their own mechanics I was ripped off on the price of the EGR replacement! Do yourself a favor do not go here, I reccomend Lukes auto in Worthington, they were able to give realistic prices and fix everything these guys couldnt.

If you take your car to this idiot be prepared to take it to someone else next. I spent 2600 and the car shook like a Sherman tank .I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and the attorney generals office. Look up the complaints on this moron and youll take your car somewhere else.

Had taken my diesel here several times in the past. Brought it back over the summer. Had them do some repairs and picked the truck up. Drove it home and noticed brakes were squeaking. I immediately drove it back and told them to go ahead and fix the brakes and anything else they see that might need done as well. So they replaced glow plugs, both batteries were replaced, new brakes, fuel lines, fuel pump/fuel filter. I got the call to pick it up. Paid them $2,500.00. Drove it home and on the drive home it started spitting and sputtering. Died a few times. I got the thing home and it wouldnt even fire back up. I just paid a lot of money and im pretty frustrated at this point. I had to have it towed back to their shop on my dime of course. They didnt even offer to tow it or have it picked up. Whatever, so i had the truck brought back. 5 weeks go by and im getting concerned. Made the call. I was told they was having issues with a high pressure pump..time goes by. I got the call to pick it up again. This time i paid $3,100.00. I was shocked at 1st, but i thought well it should run like a gem now. Drove it home. Parked it and decided to go back out and check under the hood. I tried to start it up...nothing. It wouldnt fire up. I tried and tried. Also, for some reason the dash lights quit working. Now im pretty upset at this point. I made the call and was told to bring it back in. Fool me once.. I had to have the truck towed once again. This time i took it to another mechanic. They made the necessary repairs needed to make the truck run and operate like a normal truck should. I paid the new mechanic roughly $650.00 and took my truck home. It now drives like it should..without any issues. I think if Complete Auto would have troubleshooted a little more they could have potentially nailed it, but they rushed my truck back to me several times. I mean you dont take a vehicle to a shop and when you go to pick it up have to take it back immediately..especially the kind of money im dropping on this thing. They either didnt drive the truck around after repairs were made or just put new parts on the thing and called me up, told me to come get it. I dont know what happened, but i do know they are always busy so maybe they just rushed it to get it out the door. If i take my truck to you and drop over $5,500.00 and already had been back and forth multiple times you better not call me and tell me to come get it..take my money and send me down the road UNLESS you know damn well the thing runs like a top!!! I then filled a complaint with the BBB. They didnt even try to reach out to me. I guess they think since i called and was told to bring it back in.. thats good enough. I mean what else can they do at this point?? I understand that logic, but the fact is i was done with the back and forth game. It was time to let someone else give it a try at this point. Which lead me to getting my truck back and running smoothly once again. Which leads me here..writing this review. It would be nice to get refunded the two tows and the cost of the new repairs the other mechanic did to correct the truck issues. I feel like thats a pretty petty request after what Ive been through. During this entire ordeal I was without my truck for 5 months. Thats my work truck I use for my business. I was forced to drive my good truck to do construction work in. Tore the new truck up now.Bottom line: Customer service is poor. I feel after said repairs were made multiple checks and adjustments should have been done, and werent. This is the result.This entire experience was regrettable to say the least. I understand things happen..but i felt pretty betrayed the way they did me..a return customer.

Very disappointed in their service. Took my vehicle to them to have my tail lights rewired (they werent all working) and another wiring issue and was told told theyd have it in the shop the next day and if not, then itd be in the day after that. Well 2 days pass by and I havnt heard anything so I just thought maybe they were having issues since wiring can be tricky so I gave them a few more days. Well after a week goes by of not hearing from them I give them a call to see what was going on and they tell me that all theyve done is looked at it and figured out what I had already told them, THAT IT NEEDS TO BE REWIRED! Then they try to tell me that they need to do something with some of the other wires on my truck that I didnt even mention to them. I told them they had that day to get it done or theyre losing my business because I was picking the truck up that evening regardless. All in all I am very disappointed in their service because of their lack of communication and their inability to fulfill their word and do what thy say they will do.

Complete Auto in Grove City was a frustrating and upsetting experience. I dont recommend this auto shop.They had given me a $1965.00 quote to fix my very old 2005 Kia Sedona. The mechanic (I think his name is Jerry) insisted he was giving me a good deal. The Kia dealership a few miles away quoted me less for the same repairs.I had also specifically told the owner and written down my concerns about my Sedona, saying I would not be interested in fixing this auto if the repairs are too much money. $2000 for a 13 year old beat auto is too much money.They didnt care or they didnt listen.Instead, the mechanic encouraged me to spend even more money by getting my tires replaced with them while my car was at their shop.I refused to let them fix a thing. And, Im upset that they wasted my time by lying about helping me and giving me a good deal. Also, I wasted my money since the diagnostic charge was $115. In the end, I paid them to do nothing to my car.My impression of the mechanic and the owner is they are not honest nor do they have integrity as their sign on the building says. I found them to be unhelpful in every way that was most important to me. I also felt they wanted to argue with me about the cost of my repairs and the service they gave. That was very unprofessional.If I was closer to home I would not have taken my car here. But, I was 2 hours away from home when my Sedona was leaking coolant.If you are looking for someone to repair your car, I suggest avoiding this place. Maybe take it to a dealership and ask them if they can give you a discounted price on repairs as I did with Kia.

I just had my brakes done and the workers were extremely nice. They also got it done very quickly.

The only place I will take my Monte and know that they will do an excellent job at a fair price best garage in Columbus by far

So Im new to ohio, and needed to find a mechanic, found these guys on Google, let me say I was amazed by how friendly these guys were, I wIll be back for regular maintenance on my car.

Took my car to them two months ago and I told them that my alternator was going bad they replace my alternator Plug and now my alternator is bad I told him I was having problems with it and they said nothing was wrong with it and now it’s rusted After they fix their so-called problem they told me to bring it back after I asked them to check the problems out the first time and then they want to charge me over $100 to look at it when I told them what was going on in the first place I do not recommend them
