Clean. Good service. Best quesitos & giant quesitos!! Kind of expensive in other products, but, good taste & quality!
We just had lunch at Pan Castilel, a Puerto Rican restaurant/coffee, and had a few very pleasant surprises. My husband ordered Sandwich Cubano and a cup of Cafe Latte; I ordered Sopa De Pollo (Chicken soup). Since they run out of rice that normally comes with the soup, they gave me a Pan Auga (Puerto Rican specialty) bread instead, and that crusty savory bread was out this worldly tasty! WOW! There was lots of meat in the chicken soup and it’s full of flavor, the large size soup with the Pan Auga bread together is enough for a meal and only cost me $4.00. My husband’s Cunano Sandwich was huge, it’s more than enough for two of us but only cost $9.95! They have five different level of “darkness” for coffee latte, we wanted the darkest without sugar, and it was one of the best coffee latte I have ever had, with no sugar! Consider the quality, quantity and cost of the meal, this place was really one of the best with great taste and best value. Highly recommend.
Cozy, clean, well presented and decorated bakery. Visited on a Sunday morning, so it was quite crowded. Well trained and amicable staff tend to customers quickly, with a good system to deliver food to the tables. DO NOT visit if youre looking for a reasonably priced menu, thats why Im giving it three stars. Ordered the ham, cheese and egg sandwich, a soda and a quesito (pastry) and still cant get over how they charge $1.65 for a 12 fl oz can of coke that you can get anywhere else for a dollar. Gotta survive and make a profit I know, but lets not be abusive folks. Same with the quesito ($2.15) Well presented sandwich, okay sized and actually hot which was good. Overall okay experience, once again, not for those on a budget, a big family or both (unless you share your food)
Excellent Puerto Rican coffee selection. Great staff. Food is scrumptious with a superb variety. One recommendation to further exceed expectations, try to have KETO friendly bread available. Overall, my breakfast was AMAZING.
Menu screens were off, sandwiches were ok. No cremas left at 10am. Service was slow.
This place has quickly turned into one of my favorite three Panaderias in Puerto Rico. Their bread, both white and whole weat are delicious. The pastries are insanely good and they carry some of the best coffees in Puerto Rico. They are clean and affordable as well. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. Stop by if you are in the area.
This bakery charged $149 for a boneless turkey breast catering on Thanksgiving day. However, they served turkey ham with gravy. When questioned about the false advertisement, the chef blames the customer for not specifying he wanted breast. The pictures below are from the advertisement and the actual product.
Nice variation of coffe
I bought 3 Guava Quesitos and 7 regular Quesitos. Ample parking, clean area, hand sanitizer available and fever meter reader installed at the entrance and fast service. The reason I am not giving them 4 Stars is because the prices are high.
Great coffee and food
Best bread and coffe in Puerto Rico.
Good food, variety of coffees and pastries, good food
Great bakery with fine coffee and the best sandwiches
Mediocre service. Though they jave an array of local coffee, not all baristas are mindfull of extracting the best quality of each brand. Bread & pastries are good.
Good bread
The best quesitos in the island. If you dont know what that is, must taste here. A little on the expensive side for a bakery but that doesnt stop people from packing the joint.
Good food quality even though a bit expensive.
Best Quesitos on the island period. Amazing coffee selection and expert preparation. Need to show up early if you want to make sure they are still in stock.
I stayed in Santurce and I drove to Guaynabo for the quesit, coffee and friendly staff. Their pricing is very affordable. Will definitely be back when I visit PR again.
Bread and product is excellent. service is really slow.
Delicious coffee from several growing regions in Puerto Rico. Friendly staff. Lots of pastry and savory food options.
Good sandwich
Love
I wish I was in Puerto Rico longer I would have gone here more! The staff was super friendly and they have a large selection of pastries and foods, as well as fresh baked breads that smell amazing! The quesitos were the best I had and the coffee was great. This is definatley a must visit if you are in the area. Be sure and check it out if you are near there.

This bakery has sweets, Puerto Rican breads, coffees, teas, a breakfast menu and sandwiches. A good place to stop for a quick bit.
Nice fora quick breakfast. AMESOME Pan de Agua!!
Great coffee, they have a variety of coffees from Ciales, Cialitos, Utuado, and Jayuya. The pan sobao is delicious and they always have delicious pastries.
Multiple coffee options from different PR regions, excellent bread and dessert variety
Great place for breakfast. They have a varied coffe selection and pastries to go with. Their bread is really good too. My favorite coffee is Don Pello because it is very light and has a great taste. Café del Alba is stronger but really tasty too.
Jamon, queso y huevo was dry and the bread over toasted. the toast was oozing with oil. Had a weird aftertaste. Maybe they were using margarine instead of actual butter. Disappointing. Remember the 1st Apolo being much better.
Worst service in the world. Employees disrespect themselves in front of the customers. VERGÜENZA AJENA.
Good food
