Rouses market has great sales! Also a wonderful bakery that makes delicious cakes to order.They have a great hot bar if you’re hungry for lunch. Don’t forget the seafood market also.

Great food and great lunch options. There is a great selection for groceries. The produce is almost always in good condition. The butcher and bakery departments are great. Its a good stop for a meal and for groceries. My only complaint is that they often dont have enough registers open. If you just need to pick up one or two things, you can easily spend over 30 minutes there just because youll be waiting in line so long.

Love Rouses! Wonderful salad bar! Best asst of cakes! Fresh Fruit ! Unique grocery items you will not find at Walmart ! If you want good MEAT Id highly recommend! Sushi is even good!! Beer and alcohol selection is outstanding! Check them out!

It was my first time going to this rouses and it was awesome they were so helpful and they help me find exactly what I was looking for the store had everything I was looking for it was an awesome experience and even though it was crowded all the workers were wanting to help me will definitely be shopping there again

Clean, well-stocked, eclectic and unusual grocery products along with staples. Beautiful, fresh produce. Extensive selection of store-made, ready-to-eat meals and desserts. Its a high-end experience without the bougie, chi-chi prices.

Rouses have the best cake in town. Especially the fruity almond one. Not so sweet, crunchy, melt and taste so gooood.Had the chocolate and lemon ones. They’re awesome too.Plus the cakes are inexpensive 😍.

This is the only store around that offers a great produce department as well as fresh meat and dry aged beef. The fresh in store bakery and hot bar are so very reasonably priced why go anywhere else.

I love that this store has so many different varieties of unique items, but what I do not like about this store is how expensive it is, I wouldnt do my weekly shopping here, I couldnt afford it if I did, but I will buy my specialty items for recipes here and the store is extremely clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful

The staff was friendly,the place was clean and I was able to find everything that I needed quickly and at a fair price. Even found a local hot sauce to take home with me and its terrific. I wish that we had one of these stores here in Arkansas because my family and I would shop here all the time.

Amazing selection! .. Scott was magnificently gracious in helping me to get the Promised Land Whole Milk that was not stocked out front but was in the backroom. Dont forget to poke around the well-chosen holiday and special event cards located between the bakery and the fresh seafood sections. Its a way better experience than Whole Foods was for me.

Its the place to go to if you love to find unheard of and never seen before spices, foods and more. Rouses is always clean, well kept and organized with the best customer service ❤

Prices are a lil bit higher than other places, but you get what you pay for. Every time I shop here I always find something on sale like 25 cent pineapples 😱😱. Very nice clean place everything so fresh. Most of the staff are polite not friendly but youre not there to make friends.

Went to get food at the moment I am on crutches and was assisted with my food. Staff was nice and made me feel welcome. Loved it

Stephanie at front desk needs a huge lesson in customer service. I worked the FOH for 6 years at a grocery store and would never have spoken to a customer how she did me. I had to call four times just to get her to answer and when she did she immediately answered the phone with and attitude (like me calling so much aggravated her) I use to work a register and still managed to answer the phone behind the counter the first time it rang; even if I had to place them on hold. When I explained to her my issue she seemed even more annoyed by my request and radioed the manager or so she says. came back with an immediate” he will not issue a partial or any refund for ballons.” Oct 9th was my daughter 5th birthday. I always get my latex balloons at rouses never had an issues, we had 8 balloons that we picked up at 12 pm. They were the smallest ones I’ve ever received from any store ever… no bigger than my hand. By 5pm they wouldn’t float and were starting to deflate. My children were highly upset (kid’s balloons, big deal to them lol) so when I told her I didn’t agree with that and it wasn’t fair to charge that much for balloons this small, she pops off and says “well I can let you speak to him and he can tell you same thing he told me over radio” I said that’s just fine I’d really like to speak with him. Once I got him on the phone and explained, he told me there is a helium shortage (yet I had two huge beach ball sized balloons filled at party city for the exact same price as they charged for those pitiful balloons) I asked if I could just come get more since my daughters were so upset. He said he couldn’t do that but would issue a partial refund. The next morning they were all completely deflated on the floor and at that point I wanted all my money back but knew that would never happen and I didn’t feel like dealing with rude employees. So I’ve just decided rouses isn’t the store for me or my family anymore. I respect the manager for at least having common manners that the girl at the front desk is lacking completely. Hello, how may I help you, yes ma’am, no ma’am please and thank you; All go along way in the retail industry. Maybe hire someone with a warmer friendly attitude to run customer service.

Clean store. Clean restroom. Attentive, helpful employees. Wide variety of products available. Rouses is the only place Ive found that carries A2 milk..the only kind I can drink. My husband was very excited to see that Rouses carried Best Stop boudin...he bought quite a bit of it. Lol. Thank you to William, who checked us out. Very nice young man. We will most likely return when in the area again.

Great selection of national, regional, and locally selected groceries. The salad bar and deli selection are worth checking out. Rouses may have the best selection in South Mississippi but many of their products are over priced, especially for the poverty-stricken community they are located in.

I asked the butcher for a Tri-Tip roast and this man was unfamiliar with that cut.So I Googled it for him and he told me that was wrong.. He then brought over another man that told me the Tri Tip wasnt from the Bottom Serloin as the internet showed on three different sites.He then went out to the shop and cut me two Tri Tip roasts.When I got home they werent Tri Tip roasts at all...Only cut to that shape..Very disappointed with the knowledge of those two butchers and type of beef sold that was labeled as Tri-Tip roast.

We had a 20 minute shopping experience. We found what we were looking for and got up to the line with 3 people ahead of us, then a gal from the office said if you just have a few things I can check you out. She was friendly and efficient! I just wish I had noticed her name!!

I really cant say alot,but I do know that Ive gotten some bad things there. Milk bad,frozen waffles were molded. And a few other things. And they are a lot high on there products. You only shop there if you have money,and downtime your competitors.

I go because they have the best food no matter what day of the week. Im talking about the hot deli. I have never been disappointed. And their bread pudding is outstanding.

This place is absolutely a freaking mazing. They have the most interesting food varieties Ive ever seen. And boy you can spend hours in here just looking around at the wonders of the food world.

Love this Rouses. I’m just here on Gulf Coast 1 yearnow. I was a regular customer at a Rouses1 hour away for many years.The Rouses’s in Gulfport is cleaner, well stocked,and most of all associates are very pleasant,friendly, and go out of their way to ask if theycan help you find anything.

The store is very clean, provides wipes for cart and has distance stickers. A very inviting and comfortable grocery store with a wide variety of groceries, flowers, hot meals, aged beef, beef counter and fresh seafood. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very helpful. I will be definately back.

They are over priced unfortunately. Its nice inside. A lot of their bagged salads are always old and soggy. The lunch meal kits are very over priced! Like if you wanted to pick up a quick salad or sandwich, be ready to pay extra for it.

Their service is always friendly and courteous and they are generally well staffed for speedy checkouts. Check out their precooked dishes in the deli! Also, for a grocery store, they have pretty good quality sushi!

Best grocery store in Gulfport Mississippi hands-down

Bought Drum and scales were still on fish. When you buy a fish fillet it is not supposed to have scales. Maybe the worst seafood place on the coast. Last time I bought fish from the Ocean springs store it was bad I bought it back to the Gulfport store and got something else and it was bad. Bought Lobster that was already boiled and it was bad. Terrible place for seafood.

Cleanest store Ive ever been in. The produce beautifully fresh and the bakery had gorgeous decorated goods. The sales were good and comparable, otherwise on the pricey side.

Amanda in the deli is amazing! She has put together for two different occasions now, a meat and cheese tray that was expertly put together. She needs some time to work her magic, so its best to coordinate before you need your tray. She will walk around and pick out the items, youll pay for them, then she will put it together (bring your own dishware). Shes part of the reason that Rouses is awesome!Edit: added the picture of Amandas work of art!
