Our Office Max store is closing for good. Everything is on sale.As with other store closings, you got to know your prices/values/needs as the product prices have been jacked up to original MSRP before discounts are applied. That said, there are great deals to be had, especially on products that were previously sold at or near whatever the retail price was suppose to be.Did I get any great deals? Sure. I needed some specialty printing papers. Took what was left on the shelf and saved 20% over the best online price. That is all that matters, the real savings not the 40% purported markdown.I got my eye on a printer if they drop the price another 10% it will be mine. The store is getting kind of picked over in some departments. Like furniture and chairs. I bet they only have 10 chairs (boxed and display models) left. Desks are all gone. Computers, some left.Employee said they will be open until late July but I dont think they will make it until then because the inventory is dwindling fast.
Ordered a book to be bound. Boom was bound and printed good. Service is below average. Waited 20 minutes before being if I needed anything, and even than nobody knew what the price of anything was.
Great store very helpful. .. even when you, come in just to make some copies
