Staff was friendly and service was fast. They still offer the classics and some delicious new items that are seasonal. This is the new location after moving and it is easy to locate and access. We will be returning soon as you just cannot go wrong with DQ

The manager is very rude, doesn’t seem like he wants to be here. Ice cream wasn’t the greatest, employees weren’t wearing name tags, masks or gloves. No great service!

Great location and friendly service. The location is a bit tucked away compared to some of the others in the area, so the wait isnt too bad.

DQ is the best-this location DID NOT HAVE the Dairy Free Dilly Bars-and we had a dairy free member in our group!

The manager called the cops and refused to sell me a cake because he didnt like fhe WAY I was wearing my mask! Made it clear it was his store and he could do what he wanted. Never going back again and suggesting that you dont either.

I will never be coming back to this Dairy Queen. The Manager with brown curly hair was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable on how she was talking to me. She messed up on my order and rudely told me to throw it away while someone else made me another one.

Seriously whats not to like about a blizzard? I tried the new fudgy brownie one which was okay but my favorite go-to is still the M&M blizzard.

As some have mentioned, the place has a weird smell. It is also located in a strangely deserted section of Old Gurnee that I did not know existed. The staff was friendly enough, service was quick, it was DQ. Kind of got the feeling that this place is on the down swing though, so I may not be back.

We love this Dairy Queen. It is open all year, has indoor seating and is clean. The staff are always friendly and are quick to make our ice cream (even when busy). I love the blizzards and ice cream cakes.

Yummy but need more allergy awareness. Could have dedicated machines for nut free and peanut free goods and would end up with more business if they did it.

Beought a baseball team to the store after a great win. Service was great. Dealt with the big influx of teenagers well and still kept the other regular customers happy too. Got in and out in short order.

The ice cream didnt fill me up and it did not have the taste that I wanted. It was good but not that much.

I had an awful experience at this particular location in Gurnee on Old Grand Ave. After going there for years never having any problems what so ever with my orders until a week ago. I ordered my blizzard with 3 different toppings to find out once home that one of the toppings were missing, so I did call the facility the very same night to inform them of this error which the manager said he would remake the item on a different day but I needed to bring in the blizzard that wasn’t to specification. I brought the item back to the store and I reminded him of what he told me he said that after getting off the phone with me he asked the owner the next day about my situation and was told to tell me I could write down what I wanted on paper to ensure the order was correct or go elsewhere but they would not be able to remake the item now keep in mind this was my only and first time having any issue so you would think there wouldn’t have been an issue. Just horrible customer service. I say if you’re spending your hard earned money you could at least get what you asked for hassle free. SO FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT PLACE WITH GREAT TASTING ICE CREAM I SUGGEST GOING TO CULVERS, TWISTED COW, or OBERWEIS WHICH IS WHERE I ELECTED TO GO!!! THERE IS ALWAYS A DIFFERENT PLACE TO PATRON . APPARENTLY DAIRY QUEEN DONT VALUE THERE CUSTOMERS

The place was a bit dull, but they were clean and the staff were nice as well as charitable. The cones are the perfect consistency too! Once they make an update to the interior I will make this a 5 star!

I didnt know dairy queen is so cheap that they have hidden prices. You have to pay extra because you didnt get the Original topping flavors for a banana split. Chocolate strawberry and pineapple. I dont like chocolate so i got caramel. 69 cents and 40 cents for nuts. A family of five. Its not the money, its the principal. I would like to come away without feeling used.

Very nice DQ. Its very big with plenty of seating. It wasnt busy on the night I was there (being that the weather wasnt really great), but I assume they can handle a rush.

Enjoyed great ice cream & customer service tonight here after nearby concert was cancelled. Big crowd of customers handled well.

Slow debit/credit card system. I live less than a mile away from location and its the only DQ in a 15 mile radius, received on the mail coupon book, got me lured in just to be told they dont honor the coupons. Still made the purchase because DQ has good ice cream, just dont feel that good about this location. Previous visits have being okay.

There was a weird man walking around my car in the parking lot while I was trying to eat

Store shows it takes credit cards but foreces you to enter a pin and has no way of bypassing to use as a credit card. I tried 3 credit cards and all 3 asked for a pin. I said I don’t know my pin on these cards as they are credit cards and the guys said well that’s how the owner has it set up. If that is the case take the credit card sign down and put debit cards with pins accepted. Oh and after waiting in line for 30 minutes I had to cancel my entire order. They need to get a true credit card system if they advertise cards being accepted

They dont have half of the things on their menu and we got coupons in the mail with their address on it and they dont honor them. Needless to say they wont be getting my business anymore. Got a blizzard but it was disappointing, the ice cream was not cold enough and it melted fairly quickly, this caused the candy bits to be over blended to dust. Did not fulfill my Dairy Queen nostalgia.

They wont accept Dairy Queen coupons and wont participate in iconic Dairy Queen things like upside down or your blizzard is free. On top of all that the service is terrible and the wait is not worth it I rather go to Culvers.

They have no food after 7 it was pretty stupid

Ordered a mini blizzard with oreos, m&ms, and chocolate ice cream. Barely any oreos and m&ms added. So, I paid $4 for 6 oz. of chocolate ice cream. Next time Ill get Ben & Jerrys.

Service is bad. They are always short on staff. Serving size does not match other locations. Place is always hot. Its time for DQ corporate to step in.
