This was a beautiful place. Great to take a run, walk the dog, enjoy quiet time at the lake, or just enjoy nature. Paths are wide and have various types of trails for new or veteran explorers. The only thing that could have given it 5 stars was more parking and a restroom.

Never go here For anything beyond and oil change or flat fix. They are shade tree mechanics at best. I disappointed in myself that 2k later and still having issues. I should never go here for convenience. Do it myself or pay an expert which Bentons is not.

Awesome service! Was on a trip from KC to Dallas and ran over metal, punctured my tire. Pulled off and found Bentons and I was in an out in 20 minutes. They patched my tire and it saved my trip! Thank you!

Update: the repair they did only lasted 2 hours of driving. A short time down the road, we ended up broken down again, and had to wait 3 days in a hotel for parts to arrive. I wish this shop, which was much closer to a large town, had been more thorough. When I made the owner aware of the issue a few days later, his response was ok. Thanks. Not cool!! We ended up buying an unnecessary battery here, and still having to do the correct repair at another shop later.Our experience with this shop was worth 10 stars!! We were on a road trip and broke down at the Loves station about a half mile away at 3pm on a weekday. Called this shop for service and thought we would need an uber to the hotel. Uber doesnt work this far out, and because of covid, no one can ride with the tow driver. This shop came to Loves to pick up our family of 4 and our luggage for the night, then towed our vehicle and got it fixed in record time. They had been willing to recommend hotel options and take us there, but we were able to get back on the road quickly. Oh, and they offer a discount for AAA members!! Highly recommend!!

Caution!!!! Went there to get an alignment they tried to say I needed 2400$ to redo my entire front end left foot tires rotated for four 80 dollars fixed the problem they are shady hustlers

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! had an appointment to get my alternator replaced, they replaced the battery and told me the alternator was fine. Got on the highway and immediately had alternator problems again, which drained the new battery. So I had to take back. They closed at 5 and would not let me pay the balance by credit card over the phone, saying their banking company only allow small credit purchases, so I could get my car back and was forced to get a hotel. So now instead of fixing what I asked originally and having a 400$ expense and missing an hr of work, I had close to a thousand dollars expenses and missed a half day and the next morning as well...

I have several vehicle and don’t have time to work on them myself. I’m not a mechanic but am in the business. For easy repairs I had been asking my people to go to Bentons. After reviewing repair orders when paying bills, the fraud revealed itself. On repairs that we requested, we were advised it was something else that needed to be fixed. I knew what was wrong with the vehicles when they went in but that was never considered the issue. They don’t listen to the customer. I made most of these fixes myself. Some examples this month: $55 diagnosis fee to tell a young girl she needed batteries. I ran the same diagnosis that night and had 4 check engine codes. Why didn’t they mention those? I refused to pay the $400 for batteries but couldn’t get out of the fee ( it’s free everywhere else). BTW, replaced those batteries for $230 at the auto supply shop down the street. Example 2 this month, a/c surging, high valve leaking. They actually said I didn’t know what I was talking about and tried to recharge the Freon. Guess who was correct! 3rd this month: death wobble on work truck. Noticed back bearing appears loose, they charged me $50 to balance tires. Guess what, tires were just installed within 20 miles and were balanced and aligned. Returned the next day with same problem, now they replace the steering gear box for approx $700 and returned vehicle. They kept the $50 bucks too. Problem not solved. Before I picked up the vehicle the second time, I asked Lance if he drove it and he said yes. Glad it wasn’t a break issue, just saying. I’ll fix the bearings then report back. BTW - went to the store in person today only to be advised they were sorry for my experience. It seemed like everyone hid when I pulled in with the truck in question. I noticed that someone was sitting in the owners chair behind the tint too. Sick and tired of this kind of treatment from small businesses when that’s who I keep trying to support.

Absolutely amazing service, was having issues with my car when I saw a billboard advertising their shop, took a chance and stopped, was greeted as I pulled onto the lot, explained my problem car was taken right in and checked out. After diagnosis was informed of the problem and what the cost would be. Had parts available, repaired and back on the road I a little over an hour. Besides the quick repairs everyone I had contact with were super friendly. If I lived in Guthrie I would be a full time customer .Thanks again to everyone at Bentons Service Center.

I would like to say that the quick service and friendly people were absolutely AMAZING!! I was driving back to Wisconsin with my daughter in law and two grandchildren, there was a screw in the tire, they took care of that right away. Unfortunately, we were back on the road, when the engine light came on. Back to Bentons we went, they brought it in right away, and fixed it. That was the best part of the trip for me. Knowing how friendly and helpful everyone was, I would definitely recommend people to make this your first place for any auto repairs. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Mr. Benton has repaired my kiddos vehicle twice. He is just an honest man, that took care of my kids car while we were in Texas. If youre seriously looking for a AWESOME mechanic shop to bring your vehicle, and in the surrounding Oklahoma area, (Guthrie) l highly suggest Benton.

I went to Bentons for front axel issues. They told us 3 different times on when it would be done. The issue that I went to them for is still going on. Also told me that I need rear breaks and rear wheel bearing that I did not need. I had gone there several times before with no issues. I will not be going back again.

Passing through Guthrie, OK and I had a minute to get a oil change. Bentons had me out in about 25 minutes and the staff was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this experience and service.

Ive used Bentons for years for oil changes and love the fast and friendly service. I didnt know they also sold tires until I was in last weekend and heard someone else ask for a quote. I ordered a new set and today they got my new tires installed in less than an hour WITH NO WAIT. IN ADDITION, Lance presented me with a total less than the original quote. His reasoning...Weve been doing so much tire business I was able to get a better discount AND PASSED IT ON TO YOU. What?!? Needless to say hes earned all my future business. What honesty! Tire rotation is included in future oil changes and Im able to avoid the trip to Edmond and multi-hour wait times for tires, rotation or fixes. Im so happy I can keep my business local while saving time, money and peace of mind....oh and pet the famous shop dog while Im there! Thank YOU, Bentons!

My brother and I were from out of town and broke down. The tow truck driver suggested this place. They called my brother the next morning on what was wrong with it. Sounded really high. I came here to figure out the issue. They tried selling a few things it didn’t need. We gave them a go ahead to do the repairs. That was at 930 in the morning.... come 5pm the mechanics are leaving and the store manager yet to tell us what was going on. After a heated exchange I figured out the issue that their mechanics couldn’t figure out. Trying to rip us off for a part that was not needed. The incompetence of this shop is unbelievable. They state they have quality mechanics, they obviously do not. The manager does not know what he is doing. Poor customer service, poor quality of professionalism. They will be reported to the BBB and everywhere else I can report them.Update: they still haven’t fixed it right are trying to blame it on a faulty circuit which it is not. It is improper repairs by incompetent people.

Was several hours away from home when I had some emergency tire trouble. They got my car in within a few minutes and fixed up my tire no problem. Would definitely recommend.

Good at repairs yes but they requested that i repaired something and i denied but they still charged to do it which costed me way more than i had and had to wait to get my own car back for something that i requested not to do.

They did a horrible job on my truck. They broke parts while trying to replace the motor and wouldnt tell me. They took all my heat shields, took a lot of my life time warranty parts, they took or broke my spark plug holders, they didnt attach some parts back at all, charged for things they did not do. Took a week later than what was originally told. Called several times about all of it and no one cared, just kept making excuses. Will never use them again.

Went for a front end alignment was told 120.00. Wanted front end alignment because just replaced front tie rod ends and a few other parts on front end. They later text me a quote for 245.00 to do the alignment and replace parts that were brand new. Needless to say I picked up my car and took it somewhere else.

They fully take advantage of being the only place in town to do an alignment. $95 for a front end alignment is ridiculous! Not to mention they will try and tell you that you need this and that when you dont AT ALL! DO NOT GO HERE!

Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless all you need is different air in your tires, more blinker fluid, or want to hear a lie. Had Lance and his team look at my truck because it appeared to be missing or not running right, he looked at it and told me he replaced a bunch of things but it didnt fix it all the way. He then told me that the motor was junk and it would be several thousand to get a new one. After I picked it up and paid a thousand dollars, it ran worse than it did when I dropped it off. Lance insisted that the motor was junk but I wasnt going to spend that much to put a motor in it. I took it to another place and they told me it was a $68 fix and its running just fine. The place that fixed it said the last person I took it to(Bentons) screwed me over pretty good! Lance will nickel and dime you and not think twice about it!

Friendly and very efficient

Called from the gas station right down the road during closing and within minutes they showed up and swapped a battery without question. The friendliness and quickness was incomparable to any. Id highly recommend to anyone in the area. 2 thumbs up.

My kids broke down on I 35 ; it was rear u joint in a 1991 chevy S10 ; i asked the tow company for recommendation for local service garage .They took us to Bentons Service Center ; i called them first thing in the morning, asked them to get me a quote on fixing the u joint. At this point they call me back and say every u joint on the driveshaft and carrier bearing need replaced.I explain to them my kids don’t have alot of money could they just do the broken u joint.Of course not its all or nothing.So the u joints for a 91 chevy s10 at autozone with no commercial discount are 13.00 a piece they charged 33.00 (i dont mind a 20-30% but this is damn 150%) . X3 and the did the same for the carrier bearing, so $150.00 in parts for $60 worth of parts .Then 2.5 hours labor which is what it takes to do a complete on a drive shaft. But they charge $100 an hour which is on the high end of service garages that are not factory dealers.I talk to the guy and say you my kids truck is hardly worth $400.00 can you cut a small break on the hourly (because he is absolutely gouging me on the parts) . But his response is you can take it somewhere else if you like. And proceeded to tell me how good of a deal i was getting compared to going to a dealer.The work they did was fine, but Im new to Oklahoma and am looking for an honest mechanic at a fair rate, i have a fleet of vehicles that we service (employees, partners, shop rigs ) but obviously these guys aren’t it.Like i said the actual mechanic they did was done correctly .

This is a review of Bentons Quick Lube on Division st. Different shop, same owner. I didnt have the problem with the gentlemen changing my oil. The shop was clean, and the gents did their job well.HOWEVER, having a high mileage truck, I needed an extra quart of oil and asked for Synthetic, expecting to pay a little more. What they charged me was highway robbery. For upgrading from a standard oil change to 6 quarts of synthetic should NOT cost 3x the price. I paid $120 for a stupid oil change and a new pair of $12 wipers.I love Guthrie and support my community and its businesses whenever I can. I expect the same loyalty from local business owners. I know the cost of materials and labor. This is just a case of price gouging for specialty service.AVOID this place as I certainly will, if just for principal.

I have had work done with Bentons for 8 years. My first experience was my Jaguar XJ8 that no one liked to work on. They were wonderful. They always get me in. They once delivered a battery to my house in Guthrie, and installed it within about half an hour of my calling them on a week day morning, so I was only minutes late to work. They are prompt friendly and courteous. Just the very best, really. Their work is of the highest quality. Love their new building.

Awesome awesome awesome I would give 10 stars if I could. My 03 Ram 2500 5.9 runs great.. Great prices and seem to always get my truck back the same day and have never met anyone there. Always just drop off and pick up after work. As long as Im in the area or close they will always have me as a customer.

They checked out my car and found a part I had just paid $300 for on my window was an after market part another place had just put on and it wasnt working.They even wrote it up so I could take it to them and show them. I really appreciate a car repair place that watches out for women instead of taking advantage of them. Ive had several things on my car fixed here now and its working great! Plus its an Infiniti.

Went to this shop to check on a power steering leak. Was told that it was leaking from the seals and rack and pinion had to be replaced to the tune of 800$ had them replace rack and pinion. They put on (or said they put on) a new tie rod end because they couldnt get it off. Didnt call to make sure i wanted to add to my bill. Then I was told that once it was put back together that the pump (that they would replace for an additional 400$) had to be replaced and that wed let it run dry too many times and burned it up. . (Which was untrue. It hadnt gone dry ever.) When I got the vehicle back they said the power steering was intermittent. There was no power steering after almost 900$ worth of repairs. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and called them back. They changed their story 3 times and said that wed put the wrong power steering fluid in. And then said it was because we put stopleak in it. I took it to another garage, and they didnt bleed the system properly and left air in the line. 0.00$ to fix. These people are upcharging for anything they can get!!! Be aware please!!!!

In short, excellent service at a great price with friendly people.Broke down on the way to Denver Thursday night and other shops could not get me in until Monday. First thing Friday morning I brought my vehichle at 8am and I was back on the road at 10:15am. The work that they did would have cost double if not triple if I had been at another shop considering the condition in which my wheel bearing and spindle were in. Thanks guys I made it home no problem and the van drove great!

Fast service. Went in thinking we needed a new alignment and a tire due to a blow out on road trip. Guy didnt rip us off and let us know we somehow just had a bunk tire. Was a relief as we were just passing through no the state on a long road trip.

I been living in Guthrie for 11yrs now and Bentons has never changed. They have always ripped ppl off by over charging labor, not completely fixing the problem, sabotage other parts on the vehicle, misdiagnose problems. If you don’t believe me before you go to this shop. Ask the local auto parts stores like autozone and orellys. They don’t refer no one there because they know that they are con artists. Also it brings to my concern that many of my fellow colleagues and students that are African American decent have been up charged tremendously. Look at the compliments here on google. Much of them are young black college students that don’t know very much about cars. I advice everyone not to go to this shop ever.

We used to have oil changes done here, which are fairly standard for any auto shop, I used to change the oil/filters all of the time in my car, so not a difficult process. We had a strange whining sound coming from the vehicle, after a few minutes of checking, they said it was an alternator. We approved the alternator replacement and also told them to change the serpentine belt while they were at it. The vehicle continued to make the whining sound after replacement. Turned out, from speaking to another mechanic, it was the tension belt pulley - an under $35.00 part. The alternator did not need replacing.

Showed up needing two tires. Got me in and out in under 20 mins. Thank you so much!!! Affordable, kind, and quick. Great customer service.

Ok so, when this shop relocated they had problems for a bit. I think maybe some of their longterm guys quit. However, they seem to have gotten past those problems, and back to doing high quality work. I have brought a lot and i mean a lot of things to them the last 5 years. They always do a good job, at a reasonable price.I also want to say Lance has always given me great customer service. Looked at things that i thought didnt get taken care of properly. Always been good about getting these issues resolved.

Their laboring is too high they had charged me damn near $600 alone for labor but the parts were not even close to $100. On top of that I had to go to that shop twice for the same issue within two weeks AFTER the first visit and literally less than 2 weeks later today the same issue is going on AGAIN definitely not worth going to. No part should only last two weeks

Bentons really helped me out of a jam. My wifes BMW died right across the street late one night. I pulled it into their parking lot and left it. Called them first thing in the morning and told them I was going to have it towed to the BMW dealer because it was under extended BMW warranty. Lance told me he could probably do the work under the warranty, and he did! Saved me the trouble of having to have it towed to Edmond. I also had them tune up my BMW the next day. They are the only place in Guthrie that will change the oil on a BMW. Their competitor wont do it because A BMW doesnt have a dip stick. What? From now on I am a loyal customer of Bentons.
