Love the hot chocolate French toast Chicken cranberry sandwiches Cuban sandwiches and their carrot cake is delicious

I love the environment here and the Friday night dinners. Pancakes on Saturdays are my favorite and of course the coffee is always good.

What a lucky and delicious find on our road trip! The people were kind and efficient, and the food was oh-so-good!!! I only wish we lived nearby so we could eat here often.

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go to! Small menu, but the sandwiches are excellent. My favorite is the Southwest Chicken.

We were stopping through Guymon, OK for gas and found Urban Bru (currently listed on Yelp as Galleon), this gem of a restaurant listed as #2 on yelp. When I saw the menu had Filipino-inspired food I knew it was going to be good and we decided to drop in.We stopped by and were greeted by very kind staff who were happy to help us find what we wanted, were very accommodating for our two-year-old mess making baby, and she made excellent recommendations on food.The restaurant had a lovely calming atmosphere, the space was nicely updated and was very welcoming with comfortable seating, soft lighting and lovely flower arrangements. The espresso bar was impressive, lots of pastries and they even serve wine and beer!We had lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. My husband got the cuban sandwich, and was so happy with it. I got the chicken salad sandwich on berry-wheat and the chicken rice soup, both were EXCELLENT! The oats and milk were perfect for our little one.We were so impressed that we ordered our dinner to go (chicken adobo rice bowl), saving it for later on our road trip.I have a feeling that from now on, whenever we are near Guymon, we will be coming here for food hands down--and you should too!!!

I highly recommend their protein bowls. Even though in my opinion some items are overpriced, theyre very welcoming and their food is delicious.

Great atmosphere and quality upscale eats.

My co-workers and I were looking for a place in Guymon to eat and Im so glad we ended up here! From the moment we walked through the door, it was obvious that this is diamonds at nicest restaurant. Classical music was playing softly in the background, the lights were low, and wood accents gave a warm and earthy vibe. Our server greeted us promptly and got our drink orders. The menu was long enough to make you mull over your options but not so long as to give you any anxiety. The dishes were a combination of Mexican, Filipino, and American flavors. Many dishes had vegetarian or vegan options. Included with dinner was a salsa sampler which was out of this world! The staff was attentive and the food was great - I cannot highly recommended enough!

We are from southwest norman area and this place is THE best out in the middle of nowhere restaurant.Highly recommend!I am also writing this review in the parking lot haha

Went today for food as I always go when I go it’s always busy I waited for about an hour for 2 sandwiches and a smoothie I had to go up and ask for it if I’m paying about $8 for sandwiches I’m hoping more then a small pickle slice and for my sandwiches to be warm not cold and incomplete they need better workers who can work at a fast a pace I won’t be going there no more

This restaurant is an oasis in the desert. I ordered the empanadas appetizer. The pastry was flaky and buttery filled with savory chicken. There’s a broad menu with something for everyone. Enjoy.

These people really arent helpful. They wait for you to order then find ways to mess it up. Apparently if you pay for the $4 toast, they wont even toast it or put honey on it when you selected it twice. They also pretend to never understand your order. They have decent selections if they actually give you what you ordered. Definitely give them a try and roll your dice with their morning moods. Generally a waste of money from both of my experiences.

Truly one of the best restaurants in Oklahoma. Have not had anything I wouldnt order again. The service was a little slow tonight because the chef was out, but every thing was still delicious.

Very good food, a bit pricey for the area, but worth it. The paella is delicious, the beers are something special (again, for this area), and the staff is friendly, attentive and conversational. A step away from the usual fare of the panhandle.

We stopped at The Galleon a couple of months ago during our road trip back home and we genuinely felt in love with the place. The food is original, fresh and delicious. The owner is a real sweetheart and is so caring.Thank you to Susan and her staff, The Galleon was one of the highlights of our entire road trip.

Food was good, got charged for item they did have and they did not offer anything else, had to go up and ask for our drinks after our food came. They did not even made them. So we wouldnt have got drinks unless I ask. We rather go to the other Urban Bru. Not impressed with this place, this was our first visit and our last.

Incredible! We have gone to The Galleon several times on our trip and each time we have had our expectations blown out of the water! The staff is amazing and they accommodate our large party and our special orders carefully as several of our team is on restrictive diets. The facility is very upscale but homily at the same time. We have been extremely happy with The Galleon and we will be visiting again soon. Thank you and your staff for a incredible meal and experience, we cant wait to see you again!

Recommended by a local when I spent a week working here. Food was delicious!! Also great drinks & service. Loved the atmosphere. Upscale feel with great prices. Went 2 nights in a row. Had a Mexican trio one night & shrimp tacos the next. Both were amazing. Really unexpected find in this rural area. Totally recommend it.

Stopped by on our drive back home to floruda in our RV and felt like family. Thnks. See you again in 2021

The Galleon in is an amazing find. The concept is historic and fun. The food offering are varied and our tables dishes were shared. Everything was really great.. Very authentic. With all the parts working. Best of all it was so affordable. Really nice drink menu, too. Anytime I am near the OK panhandle I will stop by this place.

Great flavor pallette. Passed thru on our way back to Tulsa and found respite here. I ordered the Nopal salad bc I wanted to try cactus, but the cactus did not have much of a contribution to the overall flavor. My main entree was split between myself and my dinner date but our portions were very different. What i did taste was incredible. Zucchini was amazing and their vanilla sponge cake was a perfect ending. Great Spanish wine selection.

A VERY nice place to visit. A classy experience without the often associated expense. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and tasty well presented food. Somewhat difficult to define the intended style here as the music was a mixture of Jazz and techno, the staff were casually dressed and the interior is quite up scale. A great experience with a little puzzlement thrown in.

Great food! Have eaten there dozens of times and the consistency is incredible! Great drink selection and the beer and wine selection is always fantastic! I cant say enough positives about the service and overall quality! Would rank with any top shelf restaurant anywhere!

Recently traveled to Guymon for work. Ive traveled the world and have had some great food. Being from Oklahoma originally, I wasnt expecting much. I was most impressed. Their steaks and atmosphere are on par with Ruths Chris or Mortons at a lower price. If you live in the area, its definitely worth a trip.

This was a surprise...fantastic restaurant and food, where you least expect it. I thought I was downtown OKC.

Delicious food. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. I had probably the best pork dish I have ever had in my life here. We also enjoyed the ceviche and the coconut shrimp. Oh, and the tres leches cake was tres amazing! So happy Guyman has this restaurant!

Me and my wife stoped by had a great lunch Ezekiel was an very friendly server and took good care of us.

Definitely a top 10 place to eat. The menu is nothing like any place else.

The food, service and ambiance were first class. I lived in the Philippines for 10 years and the flavors were very authentic. It was a little odd using pulled pork for the adobo but the flavor was excellent.

I think the food is special! Very different from everything else in town. Excellent service and nice music playing in the background. The guacamole is made fresh at your table and is amazing!

The food was outstanding. The service was very good. The price is on the high side for this area. The theme of this restaurant tries to be similar to a high end metropolitan establishment. It is a little out of place given you are smack dab in the middle of farm country.

Happened onto this place on way home from vacation. The food was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you love good food.

First off, paying extra for a kids shrimp when there was four pieces of rubber shoe shimp, I knew I wasnt going to be happy. My coconut shrimp were also so over cooked and rubbery I was disappointed. The rice wasnt great. This was an utterly unappetizing and disappointing meal, not only for myself but every member of our family.

Outstanding food and service. I realized I left my credit card at the restaurant the night before as I was boarding a plane the next day. I called the restaurant and they were kind enough to express mail the card back to my home in NY. Very considerate!!

Its the best place to eat in Guymon. Spanish-Latino-Philipino fusion, and its great. Try the adobo or al pastor; for dessert, see if they have macaroons.

I am from the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico where Mexican food is great. The chile relleons were not stripped of the seeds and it seemed to be a Philippine mexican food. The sliders that my son had was okay.

Amazing food! Chicken enchilada and green corn tamale was amazing Ill be back.

Went here in 2018 and was surprised at how great this place was! Think they have reduced food and wine quality since then trying to cut expenses. Had the filet and was tough; had a tendon or vein running right through it. I think they are buying select or unrated(like Omaha beef) tenderloins and cutting filets from them, no way that steak was prime or even choice but was expensive. Had 2 different glasses of good red wine and both were stale and obviously stored hot and for too long instead of slightly cool. a 14 dollar glass of red is not exclusive but should be done right. Bartender not paying attention and had to flag down repeatedly to ask for things. . Chips and salsa plate, appetizer plate, and previous drink glass all laid around until entree was being eaten. Left half of filet on plate when cleared and wasn’t asked if everything ok or not. I didn’t want to complain, I just wanted a good meal, didn’t care about the money, on expense account. Solo 80 dollar tab and not good. The people drinking bud light and having tacos seemed good, so maybe that is way to go, No fine dining here. Better off at old dead Eddys(May he rest in peace) place or in Amarillo.

Always enjoy the food at the Galleon when we come to town to visit. Tonite I had the fish tacos with salmon and they were good. The only thing I would suggest for this entre to minimize some of the dryness is the addition of a side of thin creamy cilantro sauce (fresh cilantro, creme fraiche or sour cream, key lime juice, lime zest, salt/pepper to taste)

I stayed in Guymon during my exploration of the Panhandle, and opted to dine here my final night in town. This restaurant is amazing! They bring you a salsa sampler after youre seated; it was wonderful, and there wasnt any salsa I couldnt handle in terms of spiciness! For my entree, I chose the Tour of Mexico; I decided on a pork tamale, chicken enchilada, and cheese chile relleno. Although the enchilada was delicious, it didnt really seem much different from others Ive had, but the chile relleno was awesome (Id never had one before), and the tamale was one of the best Ive ever had! For dessert, I ordered the churros, and mercy me, they are to die for! I hadnt had churros in probably over 20 years, so my taste buds received great pleasure! The Galleon deserves much praise, and whenever I have an opportunity to return to the Panhandle, I will definitely eat here again!

Amazing food and service. Were from Taos, NM, and Washington, DC, and we couldnt believe we found this amazing restaurant in Guymon, OK. The food is a fusion of Spanish, Mexican, and Filipino dishes and spices. Nice bar with craft beers and excellent wine. Hats off to Randy, Guymons town doctor and entrepreneur, for trying to save what looks like a dying town!
