Some gems still exist. An old fashion hometown, neighborhood, Main street store, with a yesteryear feel. A great selection of hardware, household supplies, light bulbs, plumbing, garden supplies, especially impressive Christmas & holiday decorations, friendly service.A great store overall, convenient & an asset to Hackettstown and the surrounding communities.

I happened to wander in front of this place after leaving my car down the street for an oil change. The decorations in the window and the anti-corporate appeal drew me in. I love Christmas, and there was an unbelievable amount of really cool stuff in there, plus an adorable section off to the side that was exclusively dedicated to decorations. Needless to say, the hour wait for my car was spent saying awww and wooow in the aisles. And to tie this place all together like a perfectly folded bow, the customer service was warm, welcoming, and authentic. I might have to come back three to five times before Christmas. I recommend you do too.

Small town hardware store that has been serving the community for 60 years. Third generation still provides the personalized service. They may not have the varity of the big box stores but you can get in and out quickly. My wife says it has the best christmas section in the area.

If you needed something they alway had it. So sorry they are closing the store. Thank you for your many years of being there. Enjoy your retirement.

I liked this Hardware store cause it reminds me of the old-fashioned stores with a large selection of a few of everything. Not the big stores that carry a limited supply of their brand devices. I had been to 4 stores looking for a faucet attachment to adjust spray and direction and only found it at this store. Plus the attendant new exactly where in the store to find the device.

We ordered a NG Weber Grille from Home Towne almost a month ago. We were converting to Natural Gas, we didnt know how long the hook up was going to take. Hometown told us no problem they would hold your grill until we were ready for it. Finally we scheduled a deliver date, but with a phone call they brought the grill over at the last minute to have it here when the plumbers were on the job to hook it up. The grille came fully assembled as promised we got a better or similar price then Home Depot!Would HOME DEPOT be this accommodating, would they come out at the last minute. We are always able connect a PERSON on the phone at Home Towne.I shop for most all of annuals and perennials At Home TOWNE the prices are good, top soil, mulch all compare to the big stores. Why shop anywhere else when we HOME TOWNE is right here for all our needs.

Always loved shopping there every year around Christmas Today I encountered a very unpleasant experience with an older women at the back register who was not in the holiday spirit. When asked about items on sale she responded “what you can’t read “there are signsposted?!?! I was offended and may never returnOh by the way I’ll say it again Merry Christmas
