Never had a problem with rent a center just sorry there moving like the convenient location in Hamden.
Worst employees ever! bad service, no communication at all. I applied for a computer signed a contract and they never called me I was scheduled a delivery I lost all day of work because waiting they never showed up in the system I was scheduled for automatic payments already like if I had the computer So I called next day and a woman rudely told me She will call in 30 minutes that never happened next day I call her she said nothing is verified and Im not getting it even that The system says I had the computer So I request cancellation and the made me go for the money to the store and register the incident like I have returned the computer even when I never didnt get it. I think Rent a center should get better employees for this location.
I would give it no starts. Horrible communication, rude employees, give you the run around. Ordered a bedroom set took forever for someone to go through my application when it only takes 24 hours to do so to then me contact them to see why is it taking so long and have the manager finish the application process and set a day of delivery. Next day the same employee that started the application forgetting he took care of me and asked for my information all over again for me to remind him that we already discussed all of this and he took my payment to; sounded confused and said he will call me back when he finds my information and he never called me back again. The worst part was me not getting a phone call the day before or the day of to tell me that the bedroom set I requested that they did say they have and it is ready for delivery was not going to be delivered because of damages and the even worse part was me going personally to the store to get my refund and the bedroom set I requested was being put together on the sales floor for display brand new out of the box. Not even going to attempted to get anything from any Rent A Center after this experience. The worst!
Filled out request online decided to move forward with rent a center delt with Juan who said he would personally deliver my items to me 10/26/18 between 4-7 i got rid of the furniture i was replacing the day of so nothing would be in the way when the delivery was made! 6:00 comes and i don’t get a call text or email so i decided to call the store to see what the estimated time was Renee answered and said i wasn’t on schedule to have a delivery today and she will contact Juan who will contact me after calling every half hour to see if she has contacted him and got an answer she said she haven’t apoken with him! Store closes at 7:00 so i didn’t hear anything from Juan nor anyone from rent a center here it is 9:00pm and still no call text email! They already taken my first payment i will be cancelling with them in the morning with my refund this is so unprofessional! Renee even told me she understands my frustration and would cancel contract as well! For some reason i don’t believe this is the first time they skipped out on someone! Really wish i could give them no stars but i guess the one i am mandatory to give with go to Renee for being understanding
Renta center of dixwell av, if you are late for 2 days they text you telling that theyre going to call the police for pick up the item in your house.
The manager there Rene is very ghetto, disrespectful and unprofessional. I’d never rent another thing or contact Rent-A-Center for anything knowing they have disrespectful and unprofessional managers working for them. She’s rude and very irate. As a fursitime customer, who never received their items...NEVER AGAIN!
Bad education, and they are not responsible, until the police call you
