Great deals and customer service!

A typical staples with everything you need for the office and home office. The checkout here always seems to be slow but the staff is friendly although a few more at checkout would be helpful. A big bonus is they do US Post Office shipping. No need to go to the post office.

Most incompetent people working at the copy center. We asked to have 4 cards copied (front and back) and laminated. First, the lady couldnt match the front of the cards to the correct back sides. Then, a second person comes and takes over the job only to laminate our cards crooked and misaligned. And they charged us for the cards they had to re-do. If you need to have something copied both sides, matched and laminated, I do not commend the Hamden Staples.

Helpful staff, great deals and location is convenient. My new go to place for office supplies.

Staff was sitting around chatting, computers have to be at least a decade old, and $10 to print 12 pages because their printer/copiers can’t resize photos, and printing from the computer costs $.50/copy instead of $.15/copy, on top on a PER MINUTE usage charge. Would’ve been cheaper to buy a used printer. Desperation is the only reason to come here.1 star for a computer being available, and another star for doing what I needed to. That’s being generous.

On 4/13/21 I needed to print a PDF sent to me in an email. The print lobby filled up with customers(asking for help)who had no one to assist them, the two teens working did nothing but offer minimal assistance to the customers who needed help as the lobby was filling. A self serv robot would have offered more assistance than the two young jerk females that clucked their heads off like chickens, didnt care that the lobby was full and that the customers needed help but just wanted to clean up go home. 😑 They only helped anyone because the store was closing soon and the copy area needed to be empty.😒.

I love the office equipment at staples. Chairs are very nice and comfortable.

The cashier was super nice, but this store seems woefully understaffed. I visited on a day that wasnt busy, but even though the cashier kept calling for someone to meet me by the furniture for assistance, no one ever showed up. After the second time she called someone to help me, I waited for a few minutes and then another employee walked toward me with a hand truck, avoided eye contact, and walked right past me to help another customer. I left without buying anything and am very disappointed.

Multiple copier machines available for quick copying and not so expensive!

Great tech services department. Efficiently replaced my iPhone battery for a very reasonable fee.

All Staples stores are adequate sources of office supplies and printer ink.Copy center: Beware (VERY) slow machines. They take awhile to process payment for each page as it is copied. Something about the connection between the credit card reader and the computer/OS is clunky. They were not always this bad.Not recommended for any outside-the-box printing projects, especially if you want to do and/or control them yourself. They only offered one thickness of paper in the machines. Short of buying a ream of specialty paper for the 14 pages I needed to copy, I could do nothing to change the default paper thicknesses and sizes in the self-service copy machine.Dont ask them to slice anything on the paper slicer for you. It is upward of $1 a page. Im giving 3 stars, not 1, because a kind employee at the copy center also found the paper slicing fee ludicrous and offered me a massive (83%) discount. Otherwise it would have been $18 to slice 14 pages of 24lb 11*17s down to 10*13s.

The staff in the copy print area were excellent. They went out of there way to help me with printing an email and faxing it to a fax machine that would not receive a fax. They were great!I had to visit this store again on September 20, 2018.Caitlyn in the Copy/Print area does a fantastic job.  She is friendly, eager, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist.  I am extremely pleased with the quality of customer service she provided to me and she should be commended highly.Thank you Caitlin,The Team memberMailing packagesBirthday presents

I had to fax some paperwork and when I saw how busy it was, a lot of back to school faxes etc, and the fact that it was lunch hour,I was going to leave and go back. However, Caitlain, came up to me and said she can assist me with all. So many people were rushing and trying to get one person to help them . Caitlin remained professional and I was quite impressed with how she conducted herself considering the amount of people and all with needs. She was absolutely wonderful and I see a great asset to your store .thank you Caitlin!

Arthur went above and beyond to help me out. It was an entire day process in and out, one issue after another (not Staples fault). Mike in tech was extremely patient with me and took his time with the entire situation. Very pleased!!

Someone new waited on me today to assist in my sending a fax. I thank God for her. She was gracious, happy to assist me and was patience. Another lady came up to say that i was lucky. The last person who had waited on her several weeks ago was a mess. As an older person we do need a person who really cares about people and love the job

I always think about leaving a review, then decide to give them another chance. Im now done.Every single time Ive come here (always after receiving a confirmation email that my order -whether print or otherwise- is READY) Ive been kept waiting. If they were busy, I could understand. But they generally arent.The print area staff completely ignore me- all 3 of them- and putter about as if they have all the time in the world. Often having conversations with each other, work related I grant, but what happened to a hello and what can I do for you?? Or even, well be right with you. Just straight up IGNORED. I cant even. This place is the worst.As for online pickup for non print orders: theres never anyone at the online order pick up desk. But the best part: the order thats ready to be picked up... Is in the back. They have to go get it, or call someone else to bring it up. How is thatready?? Why isnt it AAT the online order pick up? Or put the pick-up in the back. This place is a pain.And this is every single time Ive been there. I am completely finished. This place has the worst customer service. It is ridiculous. At least theyre consistent.I would NOT recommend this Staples. Find another one. Any other one.

I LOVE the Staff at Staples printing area! Theyre so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Caitlin, is my favorite! She explains everything, helps with the difficult technological stuff, that my generation is not very good at lol. Thank you Staples, for keeping me running!

The young lady that waited on me whats an exceptionally courteous and polite customer service representative I dont know her name but I also give her a five star rating

Every time I come near the poster printer is down but every time I leave and make a call about their poster printer being down they say it’s not down so technically this store is borderline racist as hell. My Artwork is sprayed with a protective sealer that does not make the color run or anything for the simple fact is there’s excuses are invalid and I would just like to get my work printed. And if you’re going to say all they don’t do copies of spray paintings they wanting them print the work that was hand drawn on regular paper because of all the printer or the copier is down but yet you just printed someone else’s work

After asking for someone to help and waiting 20 mins. for someone to finally come help a nice young man came over to help us. I asked if the chair was on sale and he finally found out that the chair is $300 not on sale. I asked why is the chair not on sale he said he would get the manager. Well the manager was too busy stocking shelfs to come to answer my question. When he asked the gentleman that was helping us he proceeded to say well not all the chairs are on sale but there was no sign indicating only certain chairs are on sale. I will NEVER shop at this staples again. Rude manager. Dont have so many employees on doing nothing. I have never seen a store run so poorly. The store had maybe 3 other customers besides us.

I didnt even go here & it was awful! All I did was call to ask if they had a certain cord that can connect a Macbook to a HP Printer & I was put on hold forever! I had to end up calling the Stamford,CT Staples and they told me immediately!

Can never find someone to help you...and they never have what you are looking for. Mostly now all they have are a few stocked store items. Nothing else. Go some where else or try Amazon!

They advertise employment on the window of the store to apply on line or in the store you go to the manager and she tells you theres nothing she can do you have toapply on line to me that false advertisement

Very poor. I was left all alone with the computer. No assistance or help. I couldnt get my job done. Everyone was all over the place.

Slightly diff setup than other staples Im used to and cashing out is typically on the slower side but then again no staples ever cashes you out quickly
