Okay what can I say, other than:1. Our tree lost most of its needles in one week and there’s still 10 days until Christmas. (a.k.a. They sold us a dead tree) ... every time we even touch it another 300+ needles fall off (and we watered it immediately and often)2. They put $100+ price tags on trees missing half their branches and a horribly bent trunk.3. They don’t bail the tree4. Oh and did I mention they sold us a dead tree that lost almost all of its needles?Update: Its now 6 days until Christmas and you can hear the last of the needles falling on their own - a few of the ornaments fell off as well. It seems to us that they are trying to sell fast-growing trees that cant handle being outside of the ground/without their roots for more than a day or two. The nice trees that they have (9 or 10 year old nicer firs & spruces) are unmarked because theyre trying to sell the fast-growing thin-trunked fast-dying trees first. Our whole family wasted over $600. This same thing happened to all of us (as well as others who Ive heard also purchased a tree there)We tried something new this year, but we will be going back to our favorite tree farm next year. Its definitely worth our drive to go elsewhere.
I went there a week ago to get my tree and they had a nice selection with various prices. I encourage walking the property to see their full selection. I was able to find a nice 5 tree for a decent price. They helped me load it into my car and were very helpful throughout the experience. They do not accept card but they do have an ATM which charged me a small fee for a withdraw. They also sell cute handmade ornaments and pine arrangements (wreaths, centerpieces). They also had free hot coco! Overall a very pleasant experience, I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a live tree. It is worth the drive from Cincy.
Great place to buy a fresh cut Christmas tree.We bought a beautiful 6 foot fresh cut Frasier Fur for $85.00. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They put a fresh cut on the trunk and even loaded it on our van. If you get there during the daylight hours you can cut your own, otherwise they have a great selection of just a day old cut trees. They also have a cute gift shop including all kinds of fresh wreaths.Edit: Just a note that our tree lasted all the way till January 10th. Not s single needle fell. Amazing.
Wonderful, welcoming, family atmosphere. This was our first year getting a tree with the root ball and they loaded it in the trunk and tied everything down. Very much appreciated because it was very heavy!Hopefully its an annual tradition!
Very nice place to pick up a tree with the family. Just remember to bring cash or check. Cards are not accepted. They have an excellent selection of 4-6 ft trees, but they are limited on the 7-12 ft ones.
I have been visiting the Nieman farm at Christmas for 25 years! It is hands down the best family Christmas tree farm in the Cincinnati area. Dog and kid friendly and who doesnt love Hot Chocolate.
We have been getting Christmas trees from here for years. Everyone is polite and helpful. Unfortunately this year we were too late and couldnt find the tree of our dreams. We will return next year, earlier!
This operation is Bush league. Blatantly lied on their website, citing $10 per foot for a cut-your-own tree. Trees were pre-tagged, 6-7 footers for close to $200! Absolutely ridiculous. Lines were extremely long to check out, unorganized is putting it mildly. We left and did not purchase anything. Proceed with caution, I will never purchase a tree from here.
The workers are so very helpful and the fields of trees are beautiful, what a great experience, I wanna just hang out there its so awesome
Love being able to go hunt for the perfect tree to cut down & take home. The men working there are always very friendly & helpful!
Great place for a tree. People always nice and prices good.
First time there and itll be our new tradition. Super people and beautiful trees.
Love this place...has been my tradition for my family to have a live tree every Christmas..found their farm 4yrs ago...amazing experience to be able to pick your tree and cut it down, super friendly staff and multiple different species to choose from a every size possible to fit your specific space! Hot cocoa, cookies, wreaths, and decor also available.
We have been going here for several years now. They always have a great selection of trees. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Always have fun on our yearly traditional trek.
Almost all the trees that were from 8 to 12 foot didnt have tags on them for sale. If they did have tags on them they were all well 250 to $350. My family has been going here for over the last five years and never paid that much for a tree and always had some to pick from. Never thought I would leave a review like this.
The Grandkids are always so happy and helpful
My family has know the Niemman family for over 35 years. My wife and I have purchased cut trees, live balled/burlapped trees, as well as wreaths, swags and other items from John (and family) for many years and have always been very, very happy. They have always taken exceptional care in providing the best products and services and are honest, trustworthy and freindly.Ive recommended them countless times over the years and continue to do so to everyone that I meet.I really cant say enough good things about them, they are among the hardest working people Ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. Please visit their nursery for your self, you wont be disappointed.
My family has been going to this tree farm since 1994. We have never had an issue until now. We drove all the way from Hebron, KY to get our Christmas tree. We were in the market for a 9-11 Canaan Fir tree. They have hundreds of BEAUTIFUL trees that they did not tag and refused to tag. There were maybe 20 trees that were 9-11 tall; all of which had giant holes and were light green in color indicating that they were dying. We, and many other families left empty handed and disappointed. If youre looking for a tree that size, dont waste your time. Most likely wont bother going back next year.
Best cut it your self Christmas tree farm around trees are gorgeous they have firs and pines cash only
Tress are excellent, quantity is superb, prices are fair and staff is pleasing. Great place to start our familys Christmas tradition a few years ago.
They are so super friendly here. They have the most beautiful Christmas trees. It is a great place to bring your family to pick the perfect tree.
There are a ton of nice looking trees, giant none are for sale?? The ones that are for sale are small, misshaped or about dead and they are listed at a premium price. Even the employees dont know where any trees are located that we can cut down and buy and this is on December 2nd
Great quality trees. Amazing variety too. Pick your own, cut it down yourself(if you want to)
Great quality trees, me and my family have been going here for years and we love the friendliness and little shop inside their building.
Just the absolute best place to cut your tree!!!! It is family owned and they are so great!!!!
Fantastic staff and selection
Beautiful 🌲 trees, lots of choices that range from short to tall and reasonable prices. My family has been coming here the last couple years since we decided to go with a real tree and wouldnt go anywhere else.
Disappointing... They have lots of beautiful trees, but none of them are for sale.
Our family tradition for years. Kind, family run farm.
If youre looking for a farm with friendly staff and beautiful trees that you can cut yourself, this place is the real deal!
Great Christmas trees and get to cut them down not like big tree plantation
Very helpful and friendly!
