I absolutely LOVE my Mineshaft time!!! The atmosphere is almost as good as my chai🥰!!! Love the upbeat family here after a long day and all I want is to relax and be taken care of. Great place. I had never had a pasty before and am now hooked! The drinks and pastries are amazing also and the employees always have a smile. Would recommend!

Literally the only downside about this place is the fact that they don’t have a drive through! The pastys are amazing, the scones are out of this world and the coffee is SO delicious!! It’s clear that the baristas (and the baker) know exactly what they’re doing. If you want a breakfast pasty get there early. They do run out. If they’re out by the time you get there don’t hesitate to try a different one. They’re all SO GOOD! My new favorite spot in Hamilton. Why did I wait so long? *insert drool emoji*

This is my all time favorite place to get a matcha latte or a chai and something gluten free!! Their lemon bread is the all time best Ive ever had!! The Baristas and the other staff are amazing and very nice!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! Love it!!

May 27 2021.I can not tell you one place in the past 10 months that the food and service is as good much less better than before Covid UNTIL today.It is 3 pm so I am fine that I only have one choice of pasty.The young man working is hands down one of the best employees I have had in years.You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Hands down, the BEST homemade baked goods around. The huckleberry lemon scone is amazing!! The pasties are great, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is relaxed. Definitely recommend!

Tried it, wasnt disappointed! It was early and they were already sold out of some things so go early. Had a choc donut with choc chip cookie. Super good. Nice young man waited on us.

Everything here is delicious and the coffee is amazing! Huge selection and super reasonably priced. The family who owns Mineshaft is so sweet and helpful and always offer pleasant conversation. They are very safe with Covid guidelines too which was important to me. Their chocolate chipper will brighten even the worst days. A gem in the bitterroot valley!

Mineshaft is wonderful in every way. The food was terrific, as was the coffee. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the environment is very homey and welcoming.

The Mineshaft is a relatively new discovery of mine, and I cannot be more happy with this establishment. Although they are only open on weekdays, everything about this cozy restaurant is perfect. The coffee is always served hot without fail, and the employees are so helpful when trying to pick from their large variety. The visit wouldnt be complete without a delicious Pastry, and to leave without one (or several) of their homemade delicious scones is unheard of. The entire atmosphere of the Mineshaft is cozy and welcoming, youll wonder why you havent heard of it before. From the welcoming staff to the delicious taste of homemade food, I cannot recommend a better place for breakfast. Definitely a must visit destination.

The service at this little shop was the BEST IVE EVER HAD! We purchased a few pasties and they truly tasted authentic (and Ive totally tried authentic pasties 😁). Needless to say, it was wonderful. It was such an amazing experience. I totally recommend.

Very friendly people, and the food tastes great! The pasty size fits in two hands, but is filling and satisfying. I had the “big bird” made with turkey and stuffing.. kinda like a pot pie. I’m definitely coming back sometime with my wife. Looking forward to trying their coffee as well. The atmosphere was chill and inviting - low light, rustic design and a coffee lounge in the corner. Amazing food, sweet people, great environment, but online hours are rarely accurate and 60% of the time I go thinking they are open (because their hours posted online says they are), they are closed. Even their hours posted on their door aren’t accurate half the time! I love it, but unfortunately can’t make plans to take people here because it is too unreliable!

Without a doubt the best scones on the planet! You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is impeccable and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. A+

WOW!!! The BEST food ever!!! We were in town visiting for the very first time. We went in and purchased these great pastys. We were in Hamilton for 6 days and ended up eating food here 3 times. We even bought some on our way out of the town, so we could eat on the road. The chocolate chip cookies were awesome!! The scones were so good too. We loved this place and will be thinking about them and missing them here in California. Thank you for being so friendly too!! (I loved the pork green chili pasty the best)

Holy smokes the breakfast pasties are freakin’ delish! Definitely just found my new go-to spot for a super tasty, filling and all-around-satisfying quick breakfast. From Hamilton to Missoula I’m not sure I’ve found anything that comes in a close 2nd place for what I enjoy, they’ve absolute nailed it with their pasties!

I absolutely adore this place. Kristin and Scott are amazing human beings with huge hearts and their service and food is phenomenal. Dont be fooled, they offer SO much more than you think - use them for catering events or custom orders. They made Thanksgiving pies for my real estate clients last year and I cant wait to have them bake for me again. Xoxo

Currently the most chill coffee shop in Hamilton. Having traveled around Ireland and Scotland, I can honestly say their pasties are completely authentic and delicious. Good coffee. Good pastries. Great atmosphere to study, work, or unwind. They also have open Mic night and bands who come in to play. The traditional coffee shop.Highly recommended for students, business outings, couples, anyone who likes coffee and pasties. Excellent.

Fantastic food. If you havent tried a pasty before this is the place. The Cornish is the classic and is basically steak potatoes and onions in a hand held pie crust with a side of delicious gravy to pour over it. Love the people here and the inside is always clean.

Great pasties! Light and fluffy crusts. I tried the traditional Cornish and it was delicious! I took the breakfast pasties and warmed them up the next morning per the instructions = OMG!!! Incredibly delicious!! Would definitely come back!!

This is a must in visiting Hamilton Montana. Not only do they have delicious traditional pasties, they have several creative pasties, including a breakfast one. There is a coffee bar as well. And did I mention cookies!!?? The owners are civically minded and involved.
