Everything was great & dealing with great guys. Their new building is beautiful overlooking the lake. My only complaint would be a very long wait for the boat to be built & delivered to Hammond. However, it’s worth the wait!

Staff is extremely unprofessional with limited knowledge. Took a month in a half to get my boat trailer lights fixed after I basically told them what the problem was. They order the wrong part and then did some splicing. Tells me basically looking for the right part what I took more time. My boat cover came back destroyed and they told me oh well. Good luck getting them the answer the phone. All around terrible experience.

This crew is amazing! This is my second boat purchase from Boat City. The sales rep, Jacob is a great guy, straight shooter with no BS, thats what I like most about dealing with Boat City.

Had a no start issue on my 2014 q7i. Ended up needing a battery and starter replacement. They fixed it promptly and allowed me to enjoy some time on the water for the 4th of July and some weekends afterwards. When I need future repairs or parts boat city will be my 1st choice

Called these guys up and told him that I have a 1990 merc 2 stroke that i needed to get serviced.The gentleman on the phone was nice and said bring it in and we will gladly work on it.Went in and they paged im guessing the service manager.Manager, how can i help you?“Me, “i called you guys earlier about“ - interrupted me in mod conversation-!Manager, “uhh, yeah! I talk to about 100 customers a day! SO. Be more specific!Me, (explained to him about my phone conversation that the gentleman on the phone said bring the boat in) can you look at my 90 merc?Manager, (reason i say manager) is he said... My guys dont know what we work on... Or they wouldnt say bring in a 1990 first of all we dont look at anything under 1995 year and being that you have a 1990. We can not help you!Asked if he had any recommendations on where to go and he pointed at the boat parts place down the street. Just basically wanted my boat gone..Not sure if I caught this man on a bad day. But, customer service is everything and he seemed way put off to even talk to me and was extremely short with me! I am a resident of hammond and was hoping to develop a relationship to support local. But, as for me. I will not be back!Unfortunately it only takes one rude person to wreck a places reputation! He was that guy!

Went in to buy a boat met Mr Nikki a great salesperson knowledgable good personality. We were thinking on getting either a nitro or ranger, mr nikki said we could test both to see which one we would like best.We did and we choose a Nitro

Really happy with the new boat. Had been looking for a while and found a boat I liked. Went in Saturday morning filled out the paperwork, went through financing and a couple hours later we left with our new Tidewater 1910 Baymax. They even stayed late to handle the get ready so we could have our boat that day.

Just went to get parts for my 50hp and the guy behind the counter was very helpful. Then he reached out to one of his technicians in the back and he too was very helpful. I will definitely go back. I also bought and they installed a 225hp mercury on my aluminum boat about 1-1/2 years ago and of coarse hadnt had to use this type of service with that motor, but glad to know this type of service is what I have to look forward too! I recently sent an email to Boat City USA through their website, asking basic questions about the Tracker 17 TXW. Several days later, still no reply. Not a big deal, so I drove over to Hammond to see what they had in stock. I walked around the showroom for several minutes, not a sales person in sight, so I left a bit frustrated. Later that day, I heard a radio ad for Boat City, and just chuckled. This could be a business you may want to spend money with, but for me, I feel like if I cant get service on the purchase end, Ill probably not get service if I have a problem after the sale. Im like the easiest customer ever, but need to at least talk to a sales person before making the purchase. Ive since turned my attention to the Xpress line of boats, waiting for the 2017s to come out. Through the Internet, can look from Houston to Gulf Shores.
