They worked great from the time I requested the appointment with Courtney to the techs like James who wanted every detail accomplished to perfection. Youll not be disappointed with having your windshield replaced or repaired at this establishment. I hope Safelite is paying these employees a salary that will insure their happiness and prosperity for a better future. I am a father and advocate for a $15.00 minimum wage policy for the State of Louisiana.

Exceptional service! I had my 2021 Mercedes GLB serviced here. My front windshield was completely replaced. I was leary about having it replaced just because the vehicle is so new but I had nothing but quality service. My windshield is replaced and like new! Also the service was quick. It took maybe an hour from dropping my car off to completion.10/10 would recommend!!!

Some of the best guys you will find in the business, very professional an customer service is a 100% I drive a 2016 freightliner Cascadia an my passenger door glass broke, an these guys did everything in there power to get the glass an fix it the same day for me at a very very reasonable price. Awesome Job. Very easy to schedule through the web, arrived about 10 minutes early. Only waited a few minutes before tech had me show him the damage, took the keys and within an hour it was completed for a new windshield. definitely would recommend. They were fast, courteous and did great work.

I tired scheduling a service here for a coworker of mine. Everything was online and did not give me great options to select the service in particular that I needed. I tried calling and got an automated machine. Which then proceeded to direct me in a circle back to online, stating they only accept scheduling services online. This caused me great frustration and I took my business elsewhere. I want to speak to an actual person, not a robot.

They were courteous and quick it took me no time to find them and I. About 20 minutes my windshield was repaired and I had new wiper blades. The staff is amazing, their customer service was top notch. 10/10 would highly recommend. You just park your car out front and they take care of the rest!

The tech did not reattach the inside door panel after installing my drivers side window, and I was charged a disposal fee, even thou the old window was not there to dispose of. I would rather pay more at a local shop then have to deal with this again.

They were very friendly and even told me how to take care of my sunroof to prevent water issues with it.

The got us in for our appointment and were done in a half hour. When it started to rain he even let my family of 7 enter through the garage so we didn’t get soaked. The window looks great!

Brett went out of his way to serve me and did an excellent job on my windshield replacement (including removal of my toll tag and placing it on the new windshield).

I booked an appointment a week in advanced. I showed up for my appointment and they didn’t have the right glass or the gasket. They could have at least called me before I arrived. I decided not to trust them with my windshield since they couldn’t take care of the fundamentals.

Great customer service! Both the representative I spoke to over the phone to schedule an appointment and my Safelite Tech, Alex, were very informative, friendly, and did everything they possible could and then some to make the situation better. Alex showed up during his time slot and let me know when he was about ten minutes away with a phone call. He was very professional and still joked around and made me smile. He was sure to explain what he did and the warranty of the repair in detail. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Safelite in Hammond.

Over price went some where else

Fast and efficient service was prompt about calling and made sure I was up to date about the service during the day. Cost was reasonable for the hammond area, alot of other places hide costs until the end. Technician knew his stuff and was polite and explained everything to me. I dont know if something has changed there recently but I cant believe these guys dont get 5 stars every time.

Safelite is literally the worst!!!!! Theyre so inconvenient, they can never get to you any sooner that 3 days when you call. I have a newborn like, I cant be driving around with a loud wrap on my door or even worst, with no window for 4 days. And all they say is Im so sorry dahdahfahdablablablah. If you need a window or windshield replaced, call somewhere else. Guaranteed youll find someone cheaper and quicker.

Quick and polite service

First of all, I just thought I’d laugh at the two negative reviews: one is based on—presumably—the premature &/or erroneous assessment by a counter guy who said “easy fix” without having a tech look at the crack. The other is a one-star review that didn’t jive with someone’s timing/schedule. C’mon people. Really?Anyway, safelite has replaced at least three windshields and one rear window on all my vehicles. In Baton Rouge a few years ago, my rear window (ford truck) leaked when it rained three days after installation. They did fix it and I did have to drive to them to have it fixed. That’s a two-star review because it’s a QA/QC thing.Fast-forward to my most recent review of the mobile service scheduled online for the new (to me) Hammond location. Scheduled online via phone on Sunday 4/22. A Monday appt was available but I chose the 8am-Noon slot for Tue, 4/23. At 9:50am the tech called me from Madisonville en route to an appt in Ponchatoula before mine (Hammond). He guesstimated he’d be at my place at 11:40am. Received a text at 11:30am saying he was on the way with an eta of 11:35am. He was there around that time. I watched him a while then went inside and birddogged him a couple of times after that (to see how it was done). Exactly one hour later my truck was completed: new front windshield and two new wipers (I have a rather large windshield). Tech was Johnathan and he was polite; concise and precise in communication; professional; and quick. He didn’t waste any time. As I watched him, I took note of his attention to detail, not to mention he disposed of his own garbage as he worked.It’s supposed to rain tonight, so if my glass leaks, I’ll edit this to say how bad safelite sucks.As of now, they get my firm approval rating of five thumbs-up. And btw I’m only writing this review because while at the gym checking my phone during a break, a received my tenth email from safelite, including a third email informing me I’ve not scheduled my appt (an internet mobile cookie issue). So I unsubscribed from the email list and left a review that was supposed to be very brief and ask them to scale back their email spamming.And here I sit...and I’ll be damn if I didn’t just ruin my workout writing all of this. Good thing it’s leg day.

Terrible experience, my wife was driving our 2017 Jeep Wrangler on I-12, got a basic rock chip, called Geico our insurance and she was directed to the Sears parking lot by Hammond Square Mall. Upon arrival tge technician said it would be an easy fix, minutes later he returned where he informed my wife the entire windshield is cracked. Its going to cost me $420 to replace the window now. Thanks Safelite Autoglass, truest professionals.... SMH go to Shermans or Phares Glass leave Safelite alone!
