OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!After getting the run around from other local AT&T stores, I found my way to this Hammond, IN location and I’m extremely glad that I did!...Mercedes S. was phenomenal!!! She greeted me at the door and helped me from start to finish. Even when I was completely indecisive about which phone I wanted, she was so patient with me. Mercedes displayed exceptional customer service and professionalism. I will come to this location for all of my cell phone needs.

I had a phenomenal Experience with this store! I called in and spoke to Trent who helped me with my issue and urged me to come in to the store. When I arrived I was met with Sonya whos smile was glowing through her mask. She took care of my issue right away. Andrea the manager was very nice and made sure I was taken care of. This will be my new go to store!
Pros: Lisa was great and spent 2 hours trying to correct errors from last night’s purchase. She was maybe the most knowledgeable sales representative in this store. If you have to go in ask for her!Cons: Staff, including manager are not very knowledgeable about rules and promotions. Sales representative was not aware of trade-in promotion and asked another employee who was also unsure. I had looked online and started the process there so I knew of the promotion. Same sales representative added insurance to each separate phone without permission. It never even came up! She didn’t ask or mention it. I called and canceled it because I put my insurance money in my savings account each month that was it’s still my money when nothing happens to the phone. We’ve never had an incident. She also added the next plan to each phone again without permission and after being told we don’t upgrade until we feel it’s necessary like every 4 years. We were trading in iPhone 7’s for 12’s! (not even family plan even though it was my husband, myself and our 2 children) I don’t blame the associate I am positive they are trained this way as the same thing happens to my daughter in the South Holland Store and she didn’t even know. I found out while fixing the issue with mine. The manager told me you can’t cancel next after two weeks if you’ve had it longer than two weeks they cannot change it, I told her online it states you can cancel at anytime and again I didn’t request the add on. Training is lacking in every AT&T store I’ve ever been in. I could tell you horror stories, but if you’ve made it this far through my review PLEASE save yourself time and money. Order online, it’s easy and you select exactly what services you want. They really cannot even transfer your data anymore, at least that’s what the manager told me.
I had such a pleasant experience with Mercedes. Her customer service was phenomenal!! She was very patient with me and to resolve my issues with my broken phone. I will be receiving my new device in a couple days and I appreciate all the help I got! If there were 10 stars to give I’d give her 20!!
I called to set up Internet service at my apartment and this lovely woman named Lisa answered the phone. I was very irritable because I was waiting for my service even though I had already paid for it. however Lisa was very patient with me and she helped me get my service set up correctly. she even also gave me her personal phone number to text her with any problems I have at home, that’s just great customer service!! even after a couple days of my scheduled service she texted me to ensure that everything went OK.
Mercedes was truly amazing! I loved working with her she was very patient and tons of information. I had an issue and she definitely resolved it! I recommend her to be a manager she deserve it!

Only because of Damaris. This rating represents her outstanding service. She was able to cancel an account for my wifes aunt who passed away and we had no idea of her pass codes. Every time we called at&t we got the runaround and no results but Damaris at the store at 7917 Indianapolis Blvd in Hammond Indiana got it done. What an exceptional employee.
Employees that seem helpful but really know how to screw up a simple task and a manager that would rather hide in the back than be visible and greet their customers. Then deflect all your simple questions to ATT support online. I would not recommend this store.

I dont understand why this store exists. Attempted to pay my elderly mothers bill twice in the month of January. Was told both times by the employee that I could not pay in cash because they could not give me any change because they did not have any to give. I was told I had to pay either by credit card or I would have to go get exact change. Both times also I asked to speak to the manager and was told there was no manager in the store. Every time Ive been in this store Ive been the only customer in the store and whenever I drive past its always empty except for the couple employees. I suppose the lack of change and the lack of customers would make sense considering there doesnt seem to ever be a manager in the store whenever I go in...poor management. Hopefully I can convince my mother to switch to a better carrier soon.

We had a great experience at this store. Very clean and new. Greeted at the door by Sonya and was helped immediately. We were picking up my daughters new phone and she explained everything to her directly - love when people treat teenagers like real people. I also watched another person helping an elderly, somewhat confused, patron and she was very patient and helpful. I have not always had a positive interaction with AT&T but now that we found this store, we will go back here for sure and ask for Sonya.

Outstanding customer service! Aliyah helped us very expeditiously, and was very detailed with the services they provide.
My fiancé ported my phone number over and bought me a new phone for a retirement gift. I’m grateful to her, but very sad that AT&T did not give her the free internet for life they promised, and instead has severely over charged her. She has spent hours trying to correct the situation, but unfortunately AT&T isn’t good for their word.

Excellent customer service Ive been out of work for 3 months I owe AT&T $1500 they turned my phone back on for me anyway with a payment plan I was in-and-out of the store within 20 minutes.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to drop off my receiver and I was told they wont take it I asked where can I go then because I recieved a letter to drop it off there. One girl said dont know then walked into the back, the other girl told me to google it. And not in a nice way. They were extremely rude in front of my 4 yr old and while I was leaving the girl proceeded to continue cuss out the door. So glad I cancelled my service.
