I went for a controller mount for my os4 and cellphone and the guy was above and beyond for me with the reason behind my problem. I hate how everything has gone digital, I dont wanna lose GameStop

You still like the store however now not so much. the hours dont start till noon so Im usually home from doing my errands by then. Then you go online and you got to spend over $75 to get any kind of discount. when youre two cents away its impossible to find if theres anything in stock at your store because they change the app. I havent came shopping here and quite some time and now I know why period I probably wont come back. I want something easier to do my shopping online and it was so hard. Then I try to add a protection plan that they say is $4.99 then when you get to the shopping cart they raise it to double the price. you read in the fine print that the one year protection goes after the manufacturers one year. then you find out thats a lie. Might as well go to Best buy to get my shopping done

I bought some Nintendo switch games because of the Buy 2 get 1 free deal. The pick up process was quick, got the games and drove off but the game splatoon 2 wasn’t working so I returned it. They gave me a new game without any hassle, I can’t be mad since I saved over 60$ bucks

Rude employees, in the last month one gave a hard stare for a short period of time at me like if I was weird or something when im just trying to buy gta 5. One old lady just doesnt do her job I wanted to get some games but she said they were sold out everytime I go to this gamestop. I dont even recommend coming to this if your going to refund or other customer service.

Gamestop always has the games that I need and they always get me in and out with no problems.

It is ridiculous that they put out the game shell on display but dont have the game itself in the store. We have had this happen twice in Hammond and Calumet City stores. Such disappointed grandsons! I guess we will be shopping through Amazon, at least they show you what they have.

Customer service was okay before reaching the counter, a lot of people were waiting unnecessarily. But once reaching the counter I realized that the staff was working diligently for a tournament that was happening that night and was still providing excellent customer service. Surprised considering the location. Would return.

Went in today to see what they had in the used section. I was shocked to find out that many of the games that have been out over a year were still marked as high as new releases. This wouldnt be such a bad thing, but whenever I took a look at the used versions, the price was only reduced by 5%. Thats outrageous and clearly shows that they are either blowing up their prices for the holiday season, or theyre just constantly blowing up their prices to milk the average gamer dry. No wonder online sales are skyrocketing. Ill never be going back.

Went in there today tried to sell my xbox one the lady michelle I think her name is with green ponytail, said I had to go n do another update on it after we had already did one she didnt take it so I went home to make sure there was no other update which I was right there wasnt!! So MICHELLE DID NOT want to do her job very poor service I experienced I went to the one on torrence in calumet city the lady took care of me with in 15 mins if that!!! Went to return GameCube controllers that didn’t work, and GameStop erased the transaction from my power rewards history. Clerk wouldnt help us, and gave us a wrong customer service number. Ended up with 2 broken remotes and lost $40. Ridiculous!

I had bought SSB4 for the Wii U, and the disc was all messed up. I honestly thought that an employee would inspect the disc before selling it. This is a situation that couldve been avoided if the cashier was just more cautious.
