Two and a half weeks after they took my cart for a warranty repair (which was originally $900) and they tell me that it could be another two to four weeks before they determine if they will cover their own work. I asked if they would make me a deal on a trade on another used cart and they gave me a low ball offer for my cart and wouldnt give me a price break on another cart. No explanation. No apology and no concern for their customers. As of the date of this review, I still have no cart, no information on whether they will even repair my cart. I guess Im out a few thousand dollars and theyre ok with that.

Best experience Ive had buying a golf cart! I would recommend them to anyone. Luis was who helped me online. Julie was very sweet and made my buying experience wonderful! Very personable people. As of now, my experience is a 2 but as the problem progresses, I will update this post. The only reason it’s not a 1 is because the 2 young men in the showroom were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I brought my golf cart in for service and they had just lost another technician. I’m patient and retired so the timeframe wasn’t an issue for me. Once I got it back, they had scratched my cart in 2 different places under the seat. When I bought it to the young guys attention, he apologized and said he had a couple techs that had just started. Of course the manager was on vacation so I spoke to her when she came back. At first she tried to blame me (Mind you she was on vacation when it was being worked on) but her paperwork upon check in has 1 scratch in a completely different place. She said if I take off the body then she’ll pay to have it repainted. Long story short, the price of the paint shop and her idea of the price we’re completely different. Now I’m out the difference and the hours of labor to disassemble and reassemble. I will make sure I update this post as my cart is completed then I will blast social media with my horrible experience. Mind you I also do a lot of volunteering in the area so I’m well respected. They will lose a lot more than a $150 difference when I’m done. It’s the principle of doing what’s right.

Robert at the dealership was beyond helpful with answering all our questions and showing us through the selection of their carts. We were looking for a gas powered golf cart and they had them in stock! He let us take them for a test drive and explained several differences of their carts to us so we could make our decision. We were window shopping initially but with the helpfulness and friendliness of Robert, we purchased right away! Weve dealt with other dealers in louisiana in the past for two other carts, but Interstate Golf Carts in Hammond, LA is by far the nicest! Thank you guys for your great service, and thank you Robert for helping us with the new purchase!

Our cart died and had to be left in a neighbors driveway. I called the next morning and explained the situation. Luis not only towed it out of the driveway but fixed it so i didnt have to tow it to the store. Amazing

Good people, nice environment, great service! Bought a 2012 ezgo 48v txt from Interstate in 2015. I bring my cart in for service every 6 months, and just left the shop picking it up. They installed a new set of 8v batteries, with new wires. Cart runs like new! Very satisfied on price, and install. Wait period was a little longer than expected, but I can justify wait over good service any day of the week. Definitely my go 2 golf cart shop!

After operating my EZGO S4 for a year it needed a minor part. I took it to Interstate Golf and they could not have been more helpful. They unloaded the cart for me, repaired it within an hour and had me back on my way. With the warranty still in service it didn’t cost a dime. Very helpful staff. Joe B.

Started off with an absolute bang then had a slight drop with a problem. After a couple calls back and forth we got my problem handled, now on to what is very important to me and most, service after the sale in the service department. They have done better than a 5 star in the service department for sure. Always johnny on the spot with the phone and the only thing that has held up getting my buggy back has been parts that they have no control over. Yes I did have a problem right after the sale but they did a really good job of recovering and I would suggest any body buy a buggy from them. They certainly know the products and service is great. Job well done every time I have been in there.

We dont accept returns on electronical equipment - thats what I was told when I tried to return a seperate part I didnt need that they sold me for a light kit I bought from them. Wasnt necessary to buy it in the first place but they said it was. $125 in the toilet.

Well we started the day out with a pocket full of cash and a plan to buy a golf cart. I first went locally right here in Houma, but “their” carts must be made of gold to justify the price, left. Went to Raceland, they did not want to even give me a price because the boss was out of town, left. Went to Metairie, he must Be making a killing with other customers because he pretty much ignored us and acted as though we were bothering him, left. Went to Covington, they had ONE damn golf cart to sell and agin must have been made out of gold, left.So, I looked online and found Interstate Golf Carts and decided to try one last place. We got there and were greeted by a very nice lady and her little baby that were ready to show us anything and everything we wanted and especially didn’t try to pressure us to buy the biggest most expensive cart they had, which I always appreciate. After talking for a bit, a tech came from the back to help assist (hey, I asked a lot of questions and they had no problem answering). I ended up picking a nice little club car 48v with all the bells and whistles and once I handed over the money he loaded it up. And after talking a little about beard grooming techniques I found out the tech that helped us out is a fellow Marine Corps Vet and that made me even happier to know that I bought from a place that hires veterans.Bottom line, a great little place for your golf cart needs. Great staff and great products. And one day that tech that helped me will have a beard that looks as good as mine.

Buyers BEWARE!!! Purchased a gas golf cart from them 2 weeks ago, was not the one pictured on their website. Of course no warranty on used golf cart, paid top dollar and after two days of use began to smoke and use oil. Tried to contact dealership to tell them I had a problem and was not happy but my attempt was unanswered. Not a good way to run a business!

The service and attitude here is lousy. Brought in a charger and was charged $168 for a circuit board, drove three hours to my farm only to find out it was not fixed. Now it needed a fuse and two weeks later still no fuse, but I did get a big attitude when I asked about the delay. Took my charger and left.
