Bad customer service. It takes them a very long time to fill prescription(sometimes days). Theyre not very knowledgable in pharmacology. They even get prescriptions wrong or try and fill it with things they think are similar. Im surprised these people went to school for pharmacology and somehow passed. Getting a prescription filled within a week and getting it filled right seems impossible at this place

05/22/2019 UPDATED Review! Finally they have beautifully upgraded & renovated this CVS! It looks 1000 times better Yay!!!! RAVI and pharmacy staff are so helpful and truly nice and knowledgeable! I see more staff ready to help customers check out quick so drop by and see for yourself the new and improved CVS! Customer service is very poor. There was this cashier lady name Rose, she was very rude to me. She seemed annoyed when I was asking for her help.

Pharmacy made me wait an hour just to not have what I was prescribed. They also took my INSURANCE CARD AFTER I TOLD THEM 3 TIMES Hey you have my insurance card I need it back . Oh and they also dont answer the phone which was super helpful.

They a always have what I need and what my family needs! My favorite go-to store!

Customers get ignored on phone and in person. Also, despite telling me my dental medicine was ready, when I got there, they told me that they needed to have the pharmacist confirm the prescription and he stepped out. Apparently, thats some new definition of the term ready of which I was not aware.

This is the most unorganized pharmacy. My prescriptions are never ready on time. If you call they even tell you that it’s ready then when you get there it’s not. Then you wait around in their dirty store 45 minutes while they fill it.

CVS list this location as Passport Photo provider and advertising this on Google, unfortunately upon arriving the worker will say our camera is broken, sorry.This is practice they do it, because I figure out it is out of service 24x7 🤔.

THEY DO NOT ENFORCE MASK LAWS.While the staff is friendly and the store is clean, with well lined plans for distancing I have now gone in twice and seen multiple people not wearing masks. The staff and management do not say anything to these people breaking the law and endangering others. I want to know what the management plans to do to address this before we start shopping here again.

Larry (I believe that was his name I think he was the manager) from the Hamtramck CVS store was INCREDIBLY nice. My sister and I came in to grab some essentials and he was so accommodating and polite. We are so lucky he works at our local CVS!

Today I had a last minute situation to where I needed some photos copied in a hurry for court. I was really struggling when an employee came to my rescueAnd helped me out. I think he was a manager by his shirt but JP was very helpful. I always come to this location because its in my neighborhood but the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Good location. Store is clean. They have polite employees.

Can’t transfer medicine because this one and my primary are going back n forth on who has to call and transfer childish

I called on 2/9/21 to asked if they had any scented candles the time was 4:59pm I really didn’t understand what the guy was saying when I asked him to repeat it he hung up in my face I thought it was very rude and poor customer service

Never experienced a pharmacy where even common items were not available immediately and on back order. CVS should dedicate less space to food, etc and more for the actual pharmacy.

Shift manager David is extremely helpful and went above and beyond in patiently helping me out with a greendot card trouble. The other employees did not help since there was not much they could do, but david went back n forth with green dot and solved the crisis situation for me. Thank you so much for that.Also the pharmacy staff were extremely helpful and friendly..

The pharmacy is a total disaster these days. For the past six months, there has been an issue with my monthly script every single time. I have repeatedly explained what I need, Ive even had the doctor personally call in to explain- one would think that a note could be made on the account or something if the script is really that difficult to understand (which, honestly, its not). Several members of staff are incredibly rude and act like I am inconveniencing them, or treat me like I am lying or trying to scam them. Its really a shame, this pharmacy used to be great. Ive finally given up and am taking my business elsewhere.

The stores not bad, they have really good products. The employees are not the nicest and the lines are usually 5 minutes long. They have cheap products like pepsi for 1 dollars instead of the usual 2 and they also give you CVS cards that can save you a ton of money. The pharmacy itself, its not that good, it takes them a long time to respond and give your medicines. Overall, I would give this store a 7/10

I took my prescription and they told my mi health care insurance are expire you need to pay cash about $60 dollars, I was shocked!! I took it on Desh Pharmachy in Hamtramck, they give me with zero dollars, and they told me my insurance is active and it’s full covered.. soCVS pharmacy are stupid. They need more quality personal. Otherwise they will be lose their customers. Hope everyone needs to go somewhere after you visit CVS to save some money.Thanks

Horrible experience, the pharmacist and pharmacist tech were very unhelpful, rude, and acted like they couldnt fill my a script when they could, they made me call my doctor to confirm when that is their job! Disgusted in the ignorance and laziness of staff.. I am a Pham tech myself and this shouldnt have happend.

Orderly courteous convenient

Do you enjoy standing at the pharmacy line 15 minutes before you are acknowledges. Do you enjoy having pretentious stuck up pharmacists (both of them were ladies, one African American and one White with what looked like a punched eye, maybe they really pissed someone off) who think they are doctors and accept you to wait until they are free to service you. Do you enjoy being disrespected by the pharmacy personals and the store manager for simply trying to get your prescription picked up. Then CVS pharmacy Hamtramck location is the place for you. I have always used CVS pharmacy regardless of which state I am in, however, this location is horrid when it comes to the pharmacy. I had to wait 15 minutes just to drop my prescription (first in line) and another 15 minutes to pick up?When I complained about the wait time, they called the store manager (old white dude) and who clearly told me You have to wait until they get to you, they are busy. When I was like this is the last time here, he said this is the only pharmacy in town. I guess he thinks people dont drive up Holbrook/Conant. There are a ton of mom and shop stores who would gladly take your business. At 8pm I left with my prescription, drove down and left to Conant and the first pharmacy I found was sav-more. Went in as they were closing and they fulfilled it in 5 minutes, I mean seriously (It was even 3 bucks cheaper). Try going 10 minutes before they close and see what happens.Never using CVS for pharmacy again, and any doctor who asks me to pick them up at CVS I will complain about them and encourage them to use a different pharmacy.

To ask a Question I had to weight in line for ffiteen minutes and still no answer. Called the person in the pharmacy section few times but it fell on deaf ears with no answer. Really bed and unpleasant experience finally I left and came out of the store.

Terrible!!!! I lived in Hamtramck all my life and this CVS is not getting any more of my business. The employees need to go check out a CVS outside of Hamtramck and see how a store is supposed to run.The employees in this store do not want to work . Today the line was all the way down the isle with only one incompetent employee at the register and one girl straightening up candy bars. Its always like this and I refuse to go back. This store should be shut down.

Such poor customer service the pharmacy hold on the photo has been over 10 minutes...they don’t have certain medications. Poorly ran. Never again. One star isn’t even proper.
