After the 1 year warranty runs out be prepared for your range to break. 3 months later. They told me this was a good reliable range and thats the reason I bought it. I also bought a Samsung dishwasher that is supposed to open automatically and they came out and told me it was fine. Came out again at later date and fixed it. Now it works sometimes. Sales people are nice though. I called to get someone to come out and repair my stove and they told me we do not do service to your area. Then whey did you sell me this I live 15 miles away. I dont know how far they will go but if you live 15 miles or more definatly do not go to kam appliance
So, I am frustrated enough that I want to just give one star, but there were parts of my experience that were positive. Let me be clear: I will never go back. But some of the Kam employees I worked with were excellent. One more caveat: I fully recognize and appreciate the difficulties companies are facing due to the current supply chain chaos.howEVER, my experience with KAM, overall, is negative. I visited the Hanover store to outfit our kitchen as part of a remodel. Knowing that supply chains are not fully functioning as efficiently as they normally would, I made my trip to the store six months before the project was scheduled to be complete. I learned, as I walked the showroom floor with Vanessa, that I might actually not have given myself enough time. So, with a new level of concern about getting appliances on time, I made my decisions (without the luxury of looking at items and taking a beat to think about them) pretty much on the spot. One concern I had was any of the items showing up (nobody had any idea when items would arrive. All I could get for an answer was “we just don’t know”) early, and not being ready for delivery. Vanessa told me that wouldn’t be an issue; they would hold the items in their warehouse until I needed them. Fast forward to late September, and I get a call from KAM telling me that my appliances are in. They also said I must take delivery within two weeks, or they would have to deliver MY APPLIANCES to people who ordered the same items and were ready for delivery. And at that point, we would wait to see if/when new items came in for our project. That was it. No other choice. Take my stuff now, or risk not having anything in a newly renovated house. OUCH! I was told that it wouldn’t be an issue! But hey, Covid, so I bit my lip and said “fine.” Then I ordered and paid for a container to be dropped off at my house to store the items. Not too expensive, but expensive enough. Definitely not a pleasure to spend… The delivery was scheduled easily, and the drivers showed up on time, and were great. I would have them represent my company any time. But, when appliances are delivered, they are usually put into place, because the house is, well, ready for delivery. This is important because that’s when we all inspect the goods. Once the drivers leave, any damage is mine. This time, however, we had to place them in my new shipping container. I was not ready to inspect anything, because I want everything as protected during the remainder of the construction. Dust and debris is my main concern. The container is weather proof otherwise. But KAM would not allow that. We were required to open and inspect on the spot. So, I was required to take my items even when I didn’t have the space. Ok, we’re all making concessions during this cuckoo time. So make arrangements that cost me more money. But when the delivery arrives and I ask for KAM to allow the items to remain boxed and best protected until we need them. Then we could unbox and inspect before installation. They way it should be. KAM said nope. I spoke with Canessa, and she said yes. Then someone called me back to say nope again. Is this a horror story? No. But I was given bad info from the start, spent an extra chunk of money just to buy appliances, dealt with static thinking, rather than dynamic, proactive thinking, sales and service staff. The shining stars of my experience were the delivery drivers. They were friendly, kind, and proactive, as they hallows me figure a few other things out. The rest of KAM needs lessons from the delivery drivers.
Great experience at KAM appliances in Hanover. Was shopping for a washer & dryer - Dave M was incredibly helpful. He put together a quote for me since I was not ready to buy same-day. Very knowledgeable but not at all pushy. Looking forward to getting my new appliances delivered and will definitely shop with KAM again in the future.Edited to add post delivery: delivery went seamlessly. After having a massive struggle to find a 24 inch gas stove as they are currently backordered everywhere throughout the country, Vanessa was so extremely helpful to me that I bought an upgraded stainless steel version with the ductless hood. I was able to purchase, receive an email notification confirming same, schedule delivery, all in one phone call. It was absolutely fabulous to have all of my needs streamlined into one phone call. Last year during tax free weekend we needed a new refrigerator. Started at Home Depot. Didnt have anything in stock of what we wanted. Went to KAM Appliances. Told them what we were looking for. They showed us the first one. Exactly what we wanted. In stock too. Perfect!! So this time I didnt even look anywhere else. Needed a dishwasher. Ordered online on Tuesday or Wednesday and had it by Saturday. Prices were better than Home Depot too. Well always look to KAM Appliances first.
We have had years of awesome customer service. We purchase all our appliances from Kam and have worked exclusively with Kent, although everyone has been helpful. Today we had a challenging delivery (tight space for freezer delivery) and the delivery people were incredible!

Bought a speed Queen dryer, no heat in unit after 3 loads, I bought because the sales person said very reliable and last 30 years. We had unit for 36 hours. I called KAM Appliance where I bought the unit, was told nobody is in today ( Saturday) and I would have to wait until Monday afternoon for an update, was given service date 5 weeks out.I returned unit myself and a manager was actually working, but had not been informed a customer had an appliance that only worked 3 times before breaking. There is a Lack of communication at KAM’s Hanover Ma. Location between sales and service.They did take the return, which was good, but service availability is unacceptable and buying experience went from good to awful.

My wife and I have purchased several items from Kam over the years with the most recent being the spring of 2019 for a few house projects. We have historically had good experiences with them until this most recent purchase. One of the appliances we purchased from them, a built in microwave, stopped working. The door won’t open and the light stays on while the plate inside continues to spin. This microwave is a year and a half old. When I explained the situation and how the door lever never really worked correctly the conversation quickly shifted to “if I had purchased and extended warranty...”. I did not, figuring it shouldn’t break in less than 2 years and I was buying it through a smaller shop rather than a big box store who has always provided good customer service.After I spoke with a service manager I was told that she could reduce the service call from $125 to $65 but I would still be on the hook for repairs.The microwave is probably a $300 ticket item out of the over $10,000 I have spent at this place. Very discouraging that this is how they choose to handle it.Not asking for anything for free, but a discount on purchasing a new microwave or something along those lines would’ve gone a long way. I guess I’ll be bringing my business down the road to Yale from now on.

Not a lot of appliances on display due to the pandemic and factories being closed (refrigerators anyway, which I was looking for) but the staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. I wish I wasnt desperately in need of a fridge this week or I would have bought from them. They were not pushy at all, just went the extra mile to try to find what I needed.Updating my review because in seeing the response I realize that they had sold some of their floor models. Because I needed a refrigerator immediately I had asked at other stores and they refused to sell their floor model even though they were out of stock and unable to give me a firm delivery date. Dave McQuire sold me a Whirlpool refrigerator entirely by email and over the phone! He was extremely helpful. Dave sent me websites to view more than one choice in a 33 model that I required. Delivery was scheduled for only a couple days later. My experience with KAM was wonderful.
I purchased all my appliances for a kitchen renovation in 2019 including a double wolf wall oven.....my experience with the sales and delivery team were wonderful...with that said, my oven is still under warranty and the touchpad stopped working properly and I called for service and thats where my wonderful experience ended. Two weeks for someone to come out and look, less than a week later I got a call that parts were in (I was thrilled that I would have my oven working properly for the Christmas holiday...however I was surprised that they couldnt send someone out to install the new part for another three weeks, after Christmas. A week before the appointment I was told the service team had to quarantine for two weeks, I understood that was unavoidable but the next appointment they gave me was a month from then (we are now at 6 weeks after my initial service call) Finally the day came for the technician to come and turns out the wrong part was ordered.....I get a call the day after to schedule him to come back and expect a quick appointment but nope....another 3 weeks until the appointment. From the day of my initial call to the time I will have a properly working oven (still under warranty) will be 10 weeks...So great when they want you to spend $16,000 but terrible if you need a service call
No follow up on how deliver went, how both refrigerators are working. Had minor issues that I did email the salesman on, no response. Going forward, wont buy another appliance from this store.

Worst experience ever with an appliance company! They delivered a broken appliance and have taken over a month to get it fixed..... still not done. The customer service area acts like they are doing you a favor by sending someone to fix the broken product they sold. They give you a date weeks in advance and then say they will call you the day before to give you a time that is good for them. They should learn a bit of empathy for the customer. I will never buy from KAMS again and will relay my experience to others. Very, very poor customer service. For a family business, they sure do not seem to care about the end user of their product but are quick to take your money!The installation vendor (SS installation)was the best part of my experience. They were helpful, professional, responsive and informative.

Highly recommend Kam! We are currently building a house & went to home depot over the 4th of july sale for kitchen appliances. We ordered them. Then late July, I decided to call and check in. They canceled the order without notifying me. I decided to go to Kam. I should have gone there in the first place! They were professional, honest, & told me all about the appliance options. They matched the price of 1 item that was cheaper at home depot. Even with covid and its safety precautions, I felt welcomed and cared for. Shout out to Kent at Kam for all his help. Kent was our salesperson...He knew all the answers and there is never any pressure to buy. They price match and he was aware of the prices at Lowes, etc in order for us to get the best pricing. I went to Lowes and couldnt get any answers regarding a very expensive refrigerator I was considering..I was told by a Lowes employee that she never plugged the refrigerator in so she didnt know much about it. Stick to Kam. You will get the same pricing but much better service.

Very disappointed in KAM’s repair service for my expensive freezer. On the original KAM service call (at a prepaid cost of about $150) and after waiting about a week for this appointment, they did a simple diagnosis and determined it was working fine ( it was freezing intermittently and working at the time). However same problem continued after the service. So about a couple months later I called to say it still was not freezing properly. They agreed to do a call back, but I had to wait another 10days for the appointment. On the call back they determined the compressor was bad, and eventually quoted cost to repair $1,574 and that it couldn’t be done for a week or two. Mind you, KAM did not use any meters or such to diagnose. So, on a hunch I decided to call another repair service...it was Mr. Appliance of Southeast Mass. A very personable and knowledgeable Tech by the name of George came the NEXT DAY and I didn’t have to prepay for a service call. George spent some time and used meters, and eventually determined the relay was bad...total cost $294. Freezer is working fine...and I saved $1300 and was spared more aggravation! Yikes.
Worked with Susan C. over a several month period to select the appliances we wanted for our kitchen remodel. We stopped by the showroom several times and emailed quite often. Susan was always professional, helpful and NEVER pushy. She always had the info we needed and always gave great advice. The prices for the appliances were very competitive and due to our schedule we had to have two separate deliveries. Everything was delivered on time and by a professional team. A+++ for customer service all the way around.
I find that all too often people only write reviews when something goes wrong, and not when it goes right. I recently bought a stackable washer/dryer for my new home and the entire process with KAM was awesome from the price to the service and beyond! Kelly on the sales team is a HUGE help and Tiago & his partner were really incredible on delivery day. We ran into some hiccups that could have caused me to have to decline the delivery and start the shopping process all over but instead Tiago took the time to really help me understand my options and find a solution. I would highly recommend going to KAM for your appliance needs!

I had bought a dishwasher previously from KAM appliance and had a good experience. So when it came to our kitchen renovation project, we went to KAM. Great for initial purchase and warranty period. However, even during warranty period, servicing of appliances is poor. Technicians are hit or miss (washer dryer people always fixed problems, refrigerator people took months and 3 different crews), but whoever answers phone on weekdays is terribly rude. Also, follow up is very bad, not sure where miscommunication is coming from, but it takes weeks for things to be resolved out of warranty. Two weeks on, I have no washing machine, and no one has called to resolve issues, I had to call. I’m tired of this, you should have called me Kam, not ok.
