From a phone order to the delivery, the process was very smooth, and the delivery crew did a great job. They set up the fridge, changed the door swing from left to right for me, and made sure it was level before they left. They peeled off the stickers and protective film and took it with them. They were in and out in 20 minutes and the fridge was ready to go!

I have always bought all my appliances at Yale and I will certainly continue. My wash machine repair man knew exactly what was wrong with it. It was actually my fault it wasn’t working right. A penny had gotten down into the machine making an awful noise. He was fast and friendly! The washer works perfectly and I could be happier!!! They will always have my business.

UPDATE: The technician came to fix our washer and it worked without issue, until a few weeks ago. Same issue reappeared. They will be coming to repair on 12/9/21, more than two months from the date of request. Weve now had to take laundry to a laundry mat because multiple times the washer wont run, even after unplugging and plugging back in.Initial Review:We bought a GE washer/dryer in April or May, along with the extended warranty. The salesman, Stan, was very helpful and informative as we worked through which appliance to buy. Upon agreeing to the warranty, we were told that usually within a week we would have a technician at our house for repairs, if necessary.In June, our washer wouldnt start up and wed have to unplug to reset and it will finally run after one to three times of unplugging. We called to request service in mid-June, which we were given a date nearly six weeks out. Yale said theyd call us two days in advance, which my wife reached out the day before the anticipated arrival date when they informed us they had rescheduled us for the following week.Today is the day the technician is arriving, until we received a text message that they are canceling the technician and rescheduled us for next week yet again.I give five stars to the salesman for the information in selecting our appliance, however currently a one star for the service department. The service department is what sold us on buying through Yale and so far theyve not lived up to what we were sold. Heres to hoping it improves before we remodel our kitchen.

Despite ordering at a time when every appliance seemed out-of-stock, Yale has been able to find everything I needed. Their website is extremely helpful, especially the videos they post. And I can’t say enough about the skill and professionalism of their delivery men. They were extremely courteous, careful, clean, and quick, despite a difficult stairway and some narrow doors.

We purchased a new Washer and Dryer from Yale - Our house is especially tricky for removal and delivery, with laundry upstairs a narrow staircase with a turn. Then Team on Truck 12 worked together and did an amazing job. They got the old washer dryer out and the new ones in without issue, were pleasant despite the difficulty and really nice to work with and man fastest we have ever seen it done. We could not be happier with the delivery service.

Danny, Hanover store, was quite helpful with guiding us through the selection process for a washer/dryer pair. He also helped us select a new outdoor gas grill.Carlos Sosa and his delivery/install team were exceptional! They skillfully maneuvered the washer/dryer onto the 2nd floor and stacked the pair into the confined closet without incident. They protected all the household areas as well as the washer/dryer. Kudos to this team!

Gas range and dishwasher arrived two days ago. The delivery was done extremely professionally. Excellent care with carrying the items into my home, and moving them to the desired location. Also, Kenny (the sales rep) was extremely helpful in solving my issue - I was looking for a 36 induction range (not a lot of options typically) and he was able to find a fantastic wolf model for a great price! We couldnt have had a better experience buying a washer and drier than we did at Yale. Our sales person Amy was knowledgeable and thorough. She knew the products and got us all the answers we needed as to size and specifications of the machines. She helped us get a short term scheduled delivery. We have been buying from Yale for years and expected good service but this experience was over the top. We received the appliances delivered by Dorian and his crew. They checked the units and placement before the installation, then carefully removed the old washer and drier (from Yale and 16 years old). There were years of dust and dirt beneath the machine. I had the vacuum ready to clean and Dorian insisted that he would clean it as my efforts would just put much of the dust in the air. He scrubbed it clean with paper towels and cleaner. He also hand cleaned the rigid drier vent to the outside, where the flexible hose attached. They then carefully installed the new machines in a tight space, leveled them and adjusted for height, attached the plumbing hoses, and then cycled both machines to make sure everything was in working order. Dorian made sure all debris was taken away and inspected our finished wood floors to make sure there were no scuffs. We are very happy customers and will continue to be frequent fliers with Yale.

I give no stars for this work. I had an excellent technician who pulled a delicate item from my dryers motor, and it took 15 minutes for him to unscrew the top and front off my dryer and pull it out and put everything back on. BUT, I paid $99 to wait 3 weeks for a technician, AND he charged $160 on top of that b/c he has no wiggle room on pricing and it is not tied to how easy the job was -- it goes by the machine brand (electrolux) and diagnosis. So folks, if youre ready to spend almost $300 to fetch a stray sock (traveled b/c I forgot to put the lint trap back in -- expensive mistake) out of your machine, go for it. I thought the pricing was disgusting and when I made the appointment, they of course couldnt give me ANY BALLPARK of what it might cost or how their pricing is determined. I would welcome other recommendations for qualified service technicians who dont come out of the box with a $300/minimum event. BUYER BEWARE! KEEP SHOPPING! OR BUY A SERVICE CONTRACT IF YOU THINK YOUR MACHINE MIGHT BREAK DOWN.

The two gentlemen who installed our dishwasher were very friendly, clean and made an extra effort to ensure they didn’t make a mess as it was pouring rain when they arrived. They brought in extra blankets to drag the equipment into the kitchen to make sure very little water and mud made it onto the floor. It took about 30-40 mins from start to finish.I do wish they would have explained how the machine worked, but I figured it out via the manual.

Delivery staff on Truck 9 were efficient, careful, and professional. They gave us important basic info about the appliances. We really appreciated having all the boxes, tape, and packing material removed and taken away. We did business with the Hanover store and had an excellent experience.During our appliance research, the videos posted on their website provided very detailed information, which helped us decide which appliances to order.Their showroom is extensive. Our sales representative was well versed and could answer my most detailed questions about the appliances we were considering. Being able to have a second look via virtual visit saved us a long drive, a great convenience. The ordering process was easy and there was ample communication from their client services department prior to delivery. We were able to arrange a sales visit by video, saving us quite a drive and allowing us to choose a model (in this case an electric range) with confidence.Even though we are at the edge of the service area, delivery was arranged in just a couple days and communication about the schedule was very efficient, including a day-of call that gave a very good ETA.The delivery team was quick and thorough. Their technicians are skilled and very people-oriented. I have learned a lot of insider tricks for using, and caring for, my appliances from them. I recommend them to all my friends. Then upon arrival he put on booties and was very helpful and professional. He explained the issue very well. Derek the technician was prompt - tho an appointment had to be made a month in advance- professional and polite.However, the $99 service fee includes nothing more. It took ~15 min to adjust the stove igniter and I was told it would cost $50 to which I agreed. When I saw my credit card bill it was for $60.94.I had to call service 2x to get the cost corrected. No reason was given for the overcharge.I would use Yale Electric again, however my watch words are: trust but verify.

My service person was respectful and asked me questions about what was going on when he wasnt certain everything in the previous visit needed to be done. We communicated about what was going on and we came to the conclusion about what repair needed to be done and what did not, therefore saving me some $$$. Her also answered a question for me about my thermometer setting. It has not been showing in the temperature window where it has heated up to. (It goes back and forth between the desired heat and the heat it is actually at while heating up). He showed me how to take the red dial out (by pulling it, its like a speaker plug) and then wiping it off. It now works as it is supposed to!

HOWEVER, I determined by going on line that Yale would charge me $24 for a bulb in the exhaust fan that Id replaced recently when I could get the same bulb for about $2 on-line. That is not good business practice and does harm to your brand.

Im updating my previous review of Yale Appliance (below) after theDirector of Service & Customer Service, Tim Willis, emailed and called to apologize. He sounded sincere, explained hed been with Yale 17 years and strove to provide customers with a good service experience. In addition, he kindly refunded the entire fee. Thank you, Tim!Beware of appointment-scheduling with the Yale Appliance service department! I was notified less than 48 hours in advance that the long-awaited repair appointment promised for an 8 - noon slot would be 3:30 - 5 pm. I called and was told that a morning appt. Id cancelled work for could not be honored. Alyssa promised to see what she could do, however, and that she would see if something might come available in the morning. She promised to call me back by the end of the afternoon. She did not. I ended up needing to cancel a full day of work rather than 1/2 day of work. Add the cost of a full work-day to the cost of the repair. Yale Appliance is expensive to use and service reps dont return calls as promised. (Once the tech DID arrive, however, he fixed the issue.)

Yale always delivers which is why I always recommend them and buy all of our appliances through them. Usually there is very little to say negatively about Yale. However, I did drop to 4 stars because the amount of time we had to wait to get a tech out. Being without a washer and dryer for a month plus is tough for a fam of 4. I understand the challenges that are on companies during these times but do feel like waiting that length of time for repair is a lot. The tech arrived slightly outside of the window that was given but he worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done before I had to leave for another appt. he arrived with the parts in hand to repair a broken handle on the dryer as well. I had a convo with CS rep prior to appt and explained the problem so that we didn’t have to wait for diagnose and then parts. Everything is repaired and working beautifully once again!! The tech provided some great advice on optimizing the machines and their performance as well. He cleaned up the work space nicely before leaving.

Ive done business with Yale for 15 years and been very happy, until now.I ordered several Thermador appliances from Yale in November 2020. Here are two issues I encountered:1. The Speed oven is still missing. The new estimated date is mid-August. Turns out they havent had a single delivery of this item since last November when I ordered it. This would have been useful information during the past six months. Weve had our hopes raised on a few occasions over the last 6 months, but were now learning that was all prevarication.2. After multiple exchanges concerning handle placement on refrigerator and freezer columns, it turns out Thermador ships these units in only one configuration (both wrong for me). Client service told me I should have paid an $80 fee to have them switched in Yales warehouse. Again, this would have been useful information at purchase. I would have gladly paid the fee. Now I have to wait a week for them to send someone.Its not the Yale I used to know.

Our delivery experience was excellent. Three young men took out our old fridge and brought in the new one. This is no easy task in our 1880’s Victorian 2-family home. Our kitchen is on the second floor. The new and old fridge had to be brought up and down a flight of stairs that takes two 90 degree turns. One man was under the fridge, with it on his back, placing a mat on each and every step to protect the wood. The other two wore straps across their chests, carefully lowering it down—and they did it quickly and efficiently. The new fridge in an old house with crooked floors was shimmed expertly by the men. Very impressed and very pleased.

It was easy to make an appointment although with long lead time. Technician was competent and fast and came with correct replacement parts to fix the tray in our JennAir dishwasher. However, I’m not happy with Jennair for a bad design of the upper tray causing failure of solder joints on the slide mechanism in less than 3 years. Yale’s notifications on status kept us informed of appointment and time of arrival.

Great customer experience from the time I made the appointment to the day the tech arrived at my home. Great communication from Yale on what to expect and when the tech would arrive. Yale anticipated the resolution and had the repair parts on site and was able to resolve the problem quickly without needing to schedule a follow up appointment. Other companies typically send out a tech, then tell you they need to order the part and then schedule another service call. So glad I called Yale, because they came prepared and resolved the issue in a single visit. The price for the parts and service call was very reasonable.

The technician that came out did not install the ice machine filter correctly and now no ice is being produced. I called Yale to have someone else come to fix it and they brushed off the concern and told me they could send someone out IN A MONTH!!!! It is absolutely outrageous the poor customer service we received!! I then called again to get an earlier date and requested a credit be issued for the maintenance service fee and was told someone would call me back by end of day. I still have not heard back from anyone! Highly disappointed. We went with Yale because of the highly rated products and specialized expertise, but have yet to experience what we paid for. Service was scheduled about two weeks in advance. Yale kept me informed and reminded, and showed up on time and finished quickly. Service person was friendly, informative, accommodating (to my questions), neat, and clean.

Our technician was excellent! He knew exactly how to install the part we needed. He, also, gave us a lot of information we didnt know and werent told by Customer Service. We could have saved a lot of time by getting better advice from the Customer Service Department. Our advise is to ask to speak to a technician if you are looking for repairs or replacement parts.

Everyone was exceedingly nice, helpful, and accommodating. Stan was our salesperson and he had no problem entertaining our questions along the way. Staff at the warehouse helped us with picking up a few items early. The delivery people were the nicest, most efficient we have ever met! Out of our entire kitchen renovation our experience with Yale was the only one that had zero issues. Great company.

I am writing this review, which is unusual for me. But, I have to say that Yale appliance has been fantastic from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone. I know, that there are some experiences that may not be as pleasant as mine, It happens from time to time. However, I have used Yale several times in the past three years and, never once had a problem. Everyone is professional, courteous, and friendly. I have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be using them again. I wish it was this easy with everything I had to do. Thank you everyone at Yale Appliance!
