I wanted to give the staff at the store on Carlisle street in Hanover PA a thumbs up. They plugged 2 tires for me and inspected my car in a very timely manner. Would take my car back there anytime.

I was out of town and had a tire that went flat from a nail. I was a walk in, & Jon took my car in right away, and fixed my tire. I also asked if he could squeeze in an oil change, which he made time to do, when he was also accommodating other customers, who also came in with emergencies. He looked up my tire warranty, did an oil change and completed an alignment in a short amount of time, He also helped me sign up for a new credit card. I was able to talk to two other workers who were also very friendly helpful and pleasant. Jon went above and beyond to make a rough day better and did it with a smile. Thank you Jon. He definitely is a huge asset to the business and the reason my vacation is back on track!!

The guys at Mavis are outstanding! They are the most courteous, professional and just all around amazing mechanics i have ever seen! A lot of mechanics these days are shady and swindlers, especially when it comes to overcharging women or elderly people...but the guys at Mavis are the total opposite! They made me feel valued as a customer, explained everything to me thoroughly, and made what started as a rough day for me (when I blew out my tire) end very well. I would recommend Mavis to everyone i know! They are outstanding! I wish I could give them 15 stars instead of 5!

My horse trailer had a tire blowout on Rt15 South with my two horses in the trailer! The spare that roadside assistance put on was damaged . After doing a Google search, I found Mavis who was still open! I called and they held the tire I needed to get back on the road safely. Thank you!! Wonderful service!!!

Weve got tires 3 times from mavis. The second time was due to an issue with a tire we didnt buy from them but bought an extra warranty for and they replace and fixed everything. Friendly fast and fair. They have always been honest and fair

I needed brakes done, so I called in to see if there was availability. They were able to get me in immediately. While there, the manager Jon, was at the front desk and handled everything with a very professional and personable attitude. The mechanic who worked on my car, Isaiah, took his time and thoroughly checked to ensure I was getting the best service. He brought to my attention my need for rotors, because they were so bad that they would’ve eaten through my brand new brake pads. They were not pushy about services, and even though my rotors needed replaced, they did not add that onto the job until I gave the “o.k.”. They are very knowledgeable and get the job done accurately and in a timely manner! I will be going there for future services and I will recommend friends and family as well!

Had a tire that needed patched they got us in straight away took 15 mins tops they also have a nice little play area for kids only cost 12 buck with a coupon we found online definitely will be back for new tires

Just gotta shout out Mavis tire in Hanover.I needed to get new tires and they had the best deal on the brand that I liked (which includes a warranty and free replacements, what?!?! 😲😲)Arrived this morning with baby in tow, they got me in and out in less than an hour with mount, balance, and alignment.On the way home, I noticed my alignment was off just a smidgen (enough to make my OCD kick in. Lol).Pulled up to get it adjusted, and they had the car in the bay immediately.Seriously one of the best services Ive had in a good while!

Came in with my husband and spoke with Nick their manager about getting our oil changed and was extremely pleased with the service! He had excellent customer service and was exceptionally helpful with figuring out prices and what not. Highly recommend this place as well as dealing with nick! Great job!

First time at this shop as I had just moved, but they were very timely and professional! I blew out my tires after hours and they let me park the car at the shop so it could get serviced in the morning! Offered discounts as well, showed me the damage and explained all the work they did in detail, especially since there was more damage than I had originally thought. Very professional and very friendly when I went into the shop to pick up my car. Great communication throughout the day as they worked on my car as well. Would definitely go again once I have to get new tires!

Went in for a front to back tire rotation. Very clean, extremely clean. Many bays open for service. $14.95 rotation was more than fair and did not push for anything else as probably guessed I knew cars. Started discussing new tire prices and options. I will be back for a set of tires when need be.Great shop. Friendly guys.

Brought a car, 2004 Hyundai Elantra, I had just purchased here for a state inspection. The woman at the front counter was very kind upon my arrival. The waiting room was incredibly clean.Upon completion of the inspection I was shown to my car and given a hands on explanation of the parts that failed inspection, quoted a price and given multiple options to pay, including different financing options. The store manager Brad was incredibly patient and kind as he explained my options and helped me to figure out the best path forward.Willy, the master technician that did the work on my car, was friendly as well, and worked incredibly hard to have my car repaired within 24 hours of my taking it in for inspection.As they continued working on it there was a new issue that was uncovered and upon discovery Brad called me, gave me the new price, and when it put the car out of financial reach for me at this moment, he worked with me to bring it back down to a point I could afford! Unlike many other places that told me that they were just going to hold onto the car until I paid the full price.I can not thank both of these gentlemen enough for their patience, customer first attitude, and understanding! I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here any time you need anything done, they are amazing and friendly people who actually care about their customers not just their bottom line!

Ordered 2 tires and made appointment for sat. Told them to call when they arrive so I knew to keep appointment . Still no call days later! No word ...had problems when they did the work toward 2 tire monitors damaged car and rims overcharged me and did not balance tires correctly not enough weight,and had 1 bad tire they did not tell me about that caused the car to wobble and brake badly dangerous wobble while braking! They said they will rebalance and give a free oil change. The damage they caused was nothing according to dust. Mg. That never saw the car or tires! Sent email to corporate and after a week heard nothing ...!!! Avoid at all cost this tire store!!!!!!

Went here for the first time yesterday expecting to pay for two new tires and ended up only paying $32.00 turns out I didn’t need new tires. Jonathan was extremely honest and helpful I would highly recommend this place! ☺️ Best car service I’ve ever had!

I had a great experience Jon was amazing with fixing things on my car that the Baltimore st Mavis messed up I will never go back to the Baltimore st Mavis again they went to the junk yard to put parts on my car that were not made for my car and beacuse of that I took it to Jon at Carlisle street Mavis where they did a amazing job the car runs smooth again anyone reading these reviews dont go to the Baltimore st Mavis u will be sorry you took ur car there very poor customer service and poor mechanics that need to go back to school again thanks again Jon for everything.

6/18/21 Update - Jon and his crew at the North Mavis, Carlise Pike location are AWESOME. My original review after confirming it was submitted to the south hanover mavis location was moved to this store. Was it devine intervention? Who knows but Im truly glad that Jon reached out! Not only did he flat out say bring me the car I will make it right, Jon warrantied the problem tire as well as even took me up on my idea of just swapping the tires over to new rims to avoid any potential issues as the wifes wheels were okay but since we could not find out why it was loosing air all the time we would remove a bad rim or (rims) from the equation. So he agreed to mount them on her christmas presents that I had purchased. Did Jon hold up his word? HE DID!! Jon and his techs were professional and COURTESOUS which anyone who has worked or spent time in the industry knows, most techs and managers can be rough around the edges. Not Jon and his crew. I honestly was taken back in a positive way of how his crew worked! While Jon personally worked on my wifes car we talked and got to know each other, we actually worked for the same person who held a management position at two different companies one I worked for at the time and one Jon did. Jon reminds me allot of myself as well when I was a service manager, he KNOWS the customer may not always be right, BUT if you do right by them and be honest then youll never go wrong. The customer may not like it but at least they know theyve not be lied to or mislead. He knows that being fair is the best thing you can do, it may not always work out in his or the customers favor but ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO and that is why this review has changed and he has earned my respect and business. You cannot go wrong with this location for sure!! DO NOT GO TO THE SOUTH HANOVER MAVIS LOCATION. You want Jon and his team working with you and your car for sure!!!

Over $2100 for an easy job that costed less than 500 to fix. Pretty low life people it seemed like they like to take advantage of people and they do a good job at it. Stay away!

Two weeks ago needed a new tire on a Sunday Mavis helped me get a brand new one. Today had a screw in the same tire unfortunately. First thing this in the morning needing my tire repaired I went to Mavis they helped me to get back on the road quickly to make it to work. Great customer service!!
