Staff is nice but its dirty and they take 2-3 hours longer than other Target stores to fulfill pickup orders. Best to go elsewhere

Cashier neglected to give me one of my bags of purchases. Found out when I got home. Guest service refused to refund without coming back physically. No apologies and no flexibility. “come back in next time and we’ll take care of it” was the response—essentially tough.

I went to Target of Hanover, MA on 8/15 and just noticed they charged me tax on a tax-free day. Called this morning, which took 4 calls before someone would answer. The Manager said it was a state thing. Really? NO your register was not set-up correctly! How many other people didnt notice that Target was charging tax 8/15?? Isnt that double dipping?? Going there tonight to get that $ back.

I love a good fashion piece at a price considered a steal and almost always, regardless of season, I’m able to find for both my daughter and I. For me, I’m showing a green and white gingham summer top from June 21’ and a spring 21’ two piece animal print my nine year old loves .

The worst toy section of any area targets. It looks like the day after Christmas. All year long. They never restock items. Its always like a tornado went through. Other parts of the store are in similar shambles.

Used to be my favorite store. Now its disgusting. Everytime I go in there it is filthy, the shelves are empty, and the managers are screaming at what little staff they have left. Maybe if management took a break from bullying the children that work for them, and hired more staff, this would be a nice place to shop again.

I LOVE target....everything you need all in one spot. I love having the ability to either shop in the store or order on line (shipping, order pick up-in store and order pick-drive up- I have used them all). I have always shopped at target, but during this pandemic I really started to utilize online ordering and have been extremely satisfied! They are working hard trying to keep up with the demands of the pandemic. Clean, staffed, CDC guidelines in place-doing the best that they can-highly recommend Target for ALL YOUR NEEDS!

I’ve tried to shop in here three times and it is the Worst Target I personally have ever stepped foot in. Makeup area in disarray, lipgloss & items all in the wrong place. Paper plate area a mess, plates stacked the wrong way and misplaced. Two associates couldn’t tell me where the laundry baskets were. Stocking is done during store hours- I have never seen that before at a Target. Basically no one on the floor knows what they are doing except if they are talking to bored regular shoppers. Inefficiency at its best example. I am a loyal Target shopper in another state and will not go into this store ever again.

Since the beginning of the pandemic I’ve been relying heavily on the curbside pick up at Target in Hanover . The staff who bring out the merchandise are super friendly and speedy. All items that I need seem to typically be in stock and if not there’s always free delivery if spending “x” amount . I hope curbside is here to stay as it makes life easier with 4 Littles

This store has no real cashiers and its awful trying to checkout here with alot of food items at the self checkout. This store has really gone downhilll....cleanliness, neatness, and products being empty. Plus when asked, the employees seem to have no idea whats going on. Save the trip, order online.

Clean and well stocked store. Friendly people. Tim, the cashier, was charming and well spoken. We had of a bit of a back and forth. I had every possible payment method possible and he was very gracious.

One of my favorite targets in the area, tied with the Stoughton location. Clean, organized, and big selection, seems to be the place to have things in stock when Braintree and Dorchester, etc. dont. Experience with staff is always pleasant! Thank Zuess for Targèt.

I browsed the web sight and ordered things that were on hand in the store a very simple process, but had to create an account to pay for my items. Creating an account takes 2 minutes and there is nothing binding you .They tell you they will email you within 4 hours, and they did telling me my order was ready It doesnt get any easer than that.

Great store, Jackie the pharmacist is especially helpful whenever I have an issue and very personable. The store is always very clean and even in these difficult times its reasonably stocked

Target generally has good prices, and the coupon or gift card deals plus the REDcard savings make it worth it for me to drive from my home in Pembroke, MA out to the Hanover Target (20-25 minutes) to get all my baby supplies, even though there is a stop and shop 4 minutes from my house.This Target is also kept pretty clean, organized, and stocked full of supplies (and food).Interactions with associates have also generally been positive.

Be wary of online purchase/store pick up. Ordered an appliance that had clearly been opened and repackaged. Missing some packing materials and owner manual. Also ordered shampoo and conditioner. They were out of the conditioner and substituted a second shampoo. Would have been fine but the conditioner i paid for was $10 more. Would have appreciated an email or call if there was a problem with the order.

Great target location. Always has a lot of stock, great clearance for baby clothes most of the time too! Everything all in one store and even has a starbucks in it. So convenient!

We always shop there when were in the area. The staff are very helpful, and the store is always clean.

I most often shop on line and cannot recommend the in store experience. I dont particularly enjoy shopping in the store. I only go into target when I have to do an on line order pick up to receive the bonus gift card.

Target is NOT Walmart is, frankly, my biggest reason. But, I like the spaciousness of the aisles in the store, the variety of items offered and the generally decent prices. Not only that, Target pays a decent wage and seems to employ people who are good ambassadors for the company.

I went in here to upgrade to the new IPhone today and the gentleman named Quai behind the counter was so helpful! He even helped my Dad get a new simple flip phone as his last one succumbed to water damage. I couldn’t be happier with my new phone and his fantastic customer service.

Nice big target. good parking. good selection. avoid the older gentleman cashier if you dont want to have your ear chatted off about the target credit card.

The organization of the store. Still not sure why shelves dont have paper towels on them, but still its very organized.

Parking lot was full but didnt seem that crowded inside. Found the things I was looking for. Have great girls clothing selection. Not as much boys and mens tho. No waiting in line. Still very happy with my visit.

For crying out loud, do something about your parking lots. Shoppers need to park so far away when there are 50 reserved spaces out front. You need to catch a flippin shuttlebus to shop here. As I write this Im in the parking lot looking at the entrance. Im not making this trek. Driving away. 👋

One nice employee the rest are no ware place to be found ask some one where something is they just point and say its down two Isles down that way and on your left or say its not my department person in the video department was rude and would not help me said we dont have it and just walked away with out helping me out at all no I would not Recommend this Target at all and also another target that cant stalk things that are in the flyers ... they put out

Do not buy electronics here. They have no one working in electronics department, when someone is able to finally help you, they are confused on everything, instead of finding the right info they will lie. Save your time, shop elsewhere

Super Rude. After calling Target, their excuse was they had high turnover and had a lot of new people for the holiday. I explained that I understood having new employees and they may not know what they are doing, however there is no excuse for working with people and being so rude, when Target was the one who made the error (missing item for my online purchase/in store pick up). They also mentioned online/in store purchasing was very different so you shouldnt shop online for store pickup because they do the work but dont get the credit so they are not helpful in those situations and I should call while I am at the Target store if I need help. Sounds insane to me and why have that option if you dont want people to use it? Note to self: Dont shop at Target

Drive up service

Was in Target on 5/21/19, purchasing bathing suits for myself and my daughter. The woman working in that department, Katie, was extremely helpful. She found the size bottoms we needed to match a top my daughter fell in love with, and knew so much about the brands, styles, sizing, and different types of cuts the suits had. She was also attentive with other customers that asked questions and even with another employee that came to her with a concern she was having. The reason I am giving this visit only 3 stars is the way that another employee spoke to Katie in front of myself and my daughter, as well as many others in the store. I did not catch her name, but she had brown hair and tattoos and glasses, I assume with her tone and attitude she is a supervisor although should not be with this behavior. She just started yelling at this woman Katie for what she was doing with her work in that area asking her who she spoke with about it, and the answer that was given was not one she liked because she called her a liar and kept yelling at her as she stormed off. I asked Katie if she was okay, told her that she should not let anyone speak to her that way, boss or not, and that I would be contacting someone on her behalf because no one should be treated that way. Katie put down the items she had been putting on the shelves and walked away, and I did not see her again before I left the store. I will be calling tomorrow to speak with the store manager about this, and will call the Target headquarters if I need to, because if this is how Target treats it’s employees, then I will not be shopping there anymore, and will let others know not to shop there. I did not make my purchase because of this, I left my full cart of over $300 worth of items right there and went to another store to get the few items I absolutely needed. Please tell your management staff that belittling employees in front of customers makes the customer not want to shop there, because if this is what you are willing to do in front of us, what do you do to them that we can’t see?

This is the best Target in the area! Friendly staff, good selection. My only complaint would be the bathrooms. Theyre always somewhat dirty and they keep the water scorching hot!

Another Target that cant stock current items. The ones in New Hampshire stock the items Im looking for, but all the Massachusetts stores are way behind. Extremely disappointing, especially when Target has said they are increasing availability. Ive checked about a dozen locations between Hadley and Kingston Massachusetts and none of them have what Im looking for.

At this target location, i walked into dressing room and there was a frog sitting on the bench. it didnt bother me at first until i saw a strange brunette girl crying looking for her frog. i assisted her to my changing room i had just used saying there was a frog. this was a very odd experience, and lets just say im never going back to a target after my occurrence. swirly.

The young lady at counter was Great. the item was not up front where it was suppose to be..no hesitation she called seasonal and had them bring the item right up to me....

If I could give less than one star I would. I never, ever write a negative review. This is my first and hopefully the last. The amount of disrespect and lack of customer service was extremely alarming.I called the store to see if they had an item for sale. The woman who answered let out a sigh, as if extremely annoyed that I would be asking if they sold kiddie pools on a 95 degree day in August. She said they probably had some, after leaving me on hold a short while. I asked if she knew the price. She said I dont know, theyre probably on clearance at this point. When I asked if she could check the price, she hung up on me. I am shocked, she should not be in customer service.I have worked in customer service for a long time. Wanting to know the cost of an item is not unreasonable, nor does it warrant such disrespectful actions.

I like shopping here. Its clean, sales people tend to be friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are always clean. It has groceries inside in addition to regular household items and clothes. For what its worth though, the parking lot has been murder for my vehicle, I have gotten multiple dents, scratches, and stuff like that on my car from the parking lot.

First and foremost i am very upset with what happened a couple days ago how is it okay to run over the back of my kids heel with a shopping cart and not even care. I made sure i got the name of the person his name was Greg he was a white guy kind of heavy with sort of grey hair. Not only did he run over the back of my 6 year old heel but he did not say nothing not an apology or anything he looked up and smiled and kept walking while my kid was rubbing here heel. I tried to talk to him so he could apologize but he ignored me and kept walking. it’s really bad she has a scrape and and cant even put on he left shoe, i wasn’t even going to write a review i was gonna actually call the boss and talk to him about this Greg guy because of his actions i will no longer be shopping at the Hanover target and its a damn shame since i come here all the time.

I think this is considered a semi-super Target because they carry some refrigerated and frozen food as well as canned goods and dry goods. I like Target, this one is larger than some has a better selection of merchandise and has wide aisles and bright lighting and is always clean. Ive never had a problem with getting help, all the employees are very receptive to helping and sometimes even if you just have the confused look on your face they will come and ask what they can help you with. This Target also has a Starbucks coffee inside and another fast food type place as you checkout. If you dont already have it on your smartphone definitely download the Cartwheel app to save money and either apply for the Target card or get the Target Debit card to save 5% on your purchases and receive free online shipping! The only NEGATIVE about Target is that their RETURNS POLICY STINKS, other than that I love this Target location

Went to Target to buy a small wireless speaker for a grab. I Selected a speaker and walked to the 2 registers in the electronics. One person was working and two others were leaning up against the counter with hands in their pockets. I approached and asked the the guys if the unattended register was open. They were waiting for someone. One man suggested that I go to the registers up front. I asked why should I go up front. I asked why I should go upfront where there are ten people in line and you guys are just standing there. The were angry with my question angered the manager and told me they dont work for Target. He kept repeating to me that they dont work for Target. He started staring at me angrily. I asked for a store manager, the store manager came and I told what happened. She went to the not Target manager and he smiled and laughed as she approached. I can only imagine the cranky old man story he told. I should just not go there to bother the not Target manager.

Horrible experience. Wont be going to Target for a very long time and they were my go to place to shop. Cashier couldnt get my cartwheel to scan so she told me the deal didnt apply to the items I was buying. Got home and scanned in the app and they all apply. $15 worth of cartwheel coupons not used. Called guest services and told theres nothing they can do. I have to go back to that specific store which is almost 2 hours from my house. I would expect much more from this business.

Ease of ordering curbside pickup

I went to the pharmacy and was given a bullshit lecture about the law. Both pharmacists, one of them being a woman named Heather, are clearly both mis informed of the law and should educate themselves.. Or maybe just keep their opinions and judgements to themselves and do their job. I came in to purchase something, I shouldnt be hassled or be put in an awkward position the way I was today as a customer.

This is a typical layout target with all the same Depts. Very Friendly Staff. You can shop with confidence because all of the targets are done very well that I have been to.

I placed one online order containing 3 items. I received 3 different notifications of the items becoming available for pickup at 3 different times. I picked up the first item right away because I needed it, and was notified other items wouldnt be available for a few days. Then I was notified one item would take a few more days before being ready. Since I didnt want to make 2 separate trips to pick up the 2 remaining items, I waited until the 3rd item was ready, and went in. Waited a long time because items were being stored in the break room because not enough space near customer service. I had mentioned that it should be two items and Id received 2 notices, but when associate finally found my order and I got to my car, I realized I only had one of the remaining items, not 2 (assumed theyd be together in the bag and I was in a hurry by this time). Had to go back and ask them nicely to find the 3rd item, which was also in the breakroom. Wayyy too much trouble, will definitely think twice about ordering online again. Please note though that employees were very helpful and apologetic, no problems on that front.

I really like the products in the Hanover, MA Target store but continue to be disappointed in how I receive service there. Each time I visit, I seem to end up without all the items Ive purchased or with extra items I did not purchase. How hard is it to put items in bags? Today, 2 of my greeting cards did not make it to my bag, mainly because the woman who was waiting on me was too busy commenting on the actions of the small child who was in line behind me. I called the store and they were unable to tell me if my cards were there and then unwilling to call me and let me know once they had time to check. Really? Im told the Target policy is not to call customers back. I find that very odd.

Very much better than Walmart, good clothes too.
