If you have any building projects or lumber needs coming up I urge you to boycott John H Myers Building Products on Ram Drive in Hanover. I recently spent several thousand with them for a dock project. Looking at my receipts afterward, I noticed 2 items (very expensive SS joist hangers) that seemed incorrectly priced. I called Myers and asked for the pricing and was given a price which was approx $80 lower than what my receipt showed. I spoke with Rich, the store manager and said I was overcharged. He acknowledged I did pay a higher price, but he also told me I had signed the receipt SO ITS TOO LATE! He refused to refund the difference. THEIR MISTAKE, MY LOSS! Absolutely incredible way to treat a customer.Better options include Schmuck Lumber, Robert G Miller, Lowes or Home Depot.Please pass the word and BOYCOTT JOHN H MYERS!!

Quick service, decent prices

I’ve never had a problem with John H Myers. They are on time and competitive with all there pricing. Usually I’ll order lumber and it will be delivered within 2 days, sometimes the same day( unlike Schmuchs who lie about when material will be delivered). I’ve been in business for 3 years now and recommend J.H. Myers to all my customers.
