I dont doubt Davids knowledge about clocks. Truth is, I did get our clock back. But it took over two years. For sure, part of that length of time is on me (as many months went by without me checking in), but never did I once get a call about the status. The only way I got updates was when I went to the shop. I went once several weeks after first dropping it off. He said Id get a call when it was ready. Our busy lives kept me from checking in again until about three months ago. I went in and he told me he was working on it and would get back to me in two days. I heard nothing. Went in again and got the same message (hed call me). Several days more, nothing. Two more times I went in and finally got it the second time. Charged me $80 (I thought I might get a discount for such a long time). Perhaps that amount is normal, I dont know. But be prepared for the possibility of poor communication and no certain timetable for when your clock will be fixed.

David fixed a family clock. It now works to perfection. I was so impressed with the shop that I bought a mantle clock for myself.

Call before visiting. I recently visited the shop based upon a recommendation from another store owner across town. The shop was closed during business hours with a sign saying he will return at 4 and a note asking customers to call a number. No luck calling the number, my call went to voicemail right away. Waited until past 4 but no one returned.
