Ice cream is good and so are sundaes. Milkshakes are made with just one flavor and they have upto monster size. Flurries is an option too.Lots of food options - sandwiches, burgers, appetizers.

Cool little ice cream shop I tried to find out how long it had been around but none of the girls working at the shop knew. They did tell me that they are always pretty busy which was good to hear. I did also speak with one of the other patrons who stated that she worked there when she was a teenager. Every small town needs one of these and Hanover is no different. The ice cream was good, the staff was polite and I hope this and other places like this stay in business for years to come. Thanks York Street Treat for our sweet treat.

Great soft ice cream, flurries, sundaes and shakes! Nice sized portions. They also serve food but I honestly have never eaten their food.

Burgers are really basic but very good and super satisfying. Ice cream is even better. I swear its the best black raspberry soft serve in Pennsylvania.

What a great place to eat. We had 4 starters, 2 subs and a cheeseburger 🍔. Everything was cooked really well and tasty. I think we found our new place to get a quick bite. EDIT: Had breakfast there on March 19th. Great bacon egg and cheese/Ham egg and cheese sandwiches. Also great prices for home cooked food. Better than any fast food chain.

Prices are good, even better treats. Definitely gonna visit more often. It looks like they have a drive through but they don’t, walk up only (they totally should get a drive through though)

Delicious food. Try the Express - it has a treat burger, fries, and drink. What is a Treat Burger you may ask... well it is a yummy 2 patty burger with cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I love the potato poppers - which are breaded with diced potato, cheese and little pieces of jalopeno on the inside. Try the ice cream too - They have chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry soft serve. Highly Recommend!!!

Generous portions for very good price. Had very good vanilla cone with sprinkles. Ordered small, more would have been way too much.It had just finished a downpour so outside tables were wet. Still had a crowd. Fast service.

I eat there very often. Doing working hours at lunch time I will call in. I work in Hanover and weekends we work I call when they say 15 minute pick up its usually right on time.

Usually love this place but we just stopped by and none of the employees were wearing masks. Not even pretending--no masks in sight. We left without anything. Really disappointing.

I have been going here for ever. When we were kids we would have a Friday lunch special and then get ice cream all for under $5 but I know it is more expensive now but still reasonable. Raspberry ice cream cone is the best!Wish they would up date and spruce it up a bit.

We found this place purely by chance, and had the best soft serve either of us have had in several years. We had raspberry, and it was delicious- well flavored without being overwhelming. We will definitely return again.

Is a good memory for people who grew up in the Hanover area. Try and go in the evening when the sun is not so high. This place is in the middle of the parking lot so it feels a bit exposed to stand out there and wait. Make sure you keep a watchful eye on your young kids so they dont get smacked by a car. The ice cream is just ice cream. Nothing too special. But if youre looking for ice cream at a reasonable price this place will do for you. And oh yeah it seems like theyve been there forever.

Awesome is the best word to describe York Street Teeats. Friendly staff, clean and the best ice cream around. Stop by and try their homemade raspberry ice cream. You wont be disappointed.

The food was great as always however I am worried about the staff and other customers. The workers were wearing mask but there was no signs saying you had to have a mask for service. We had a 45 minute wait and as I sat at the back of the parking lot in my car I seen 10 people without mask come back with food/ice cream. I feel there should be signs up that all customers must have a mask to go with the mandate. I understand some people physically can’t wear mask do to health conditions but 10+ people in a half hour seems crazy. I am just worried about the health of both the employees and other customers.

Great soft serve!

I asked the older lady who took my order for an apple pie flurry and she told me “We aren’t doing that tonight.” I just went to get ice cream for my family and they were very busy. I get that. However, a middle aged man in the other line had gotten one about 15 minutes earlier while I was waiting with no complaint from the other girl. It’s on the list of flavors on your sign and you aren’t out of it. I will choose a different place next time.

York Street Treat did not disappoint. We were on the hunt for ice cream and boy did we find it. The prices were pretty standard but the ice cream was fantastic. I didnt get a chance to try their food, but it sure smelled good. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Excellent ice cream and a nice environment. I enjoyed this place. They only take cash and you have to order food at a different window than ice cream which stinks if you want both because you have to wait in line twice. Overall I felt it was worth the wait.

The prices are great and the employees are attentive. The ice cream is fairly standard.They need to live in the 21st century and accept cards. I suppose one could argue that might drive costs, but I have skipped coming here and giving them my money due to not feeling like driving to a bank first.
