Dave and Anthony spent a great deal of time with us after we found them. I was happily surprised that no one was ready to pounce on us as we casually walked around to look over the available inventory. Once we found something we thought might meet our needs, Dave and Anthony worked diligently to make the numbers line up which was not easy since I had just switched jobs no more than a month ago. After some back and forth with lenders and calling in a favor, I was able to drive home with my new vehicle and got more than a fair amount on my trade without putting a large payment down. I hope it will be a while but I will definitely revisit platinum preowned in Harrisburg again in the future and I’m sending everyone I know their way in the meantime!

The buying experience was good. David was helpful with selecting a car. However, my car has a hole in the wiper fluid reservoir. I didn’t know this until immediately after buying and trying to fill the reservoir. I’ve called and made service requests on the website. No one from platinum has contacted me to follow up with an appointment, which is ridiculous.

I am writing this under my daughter’s google account: I came in today just to look around, but ended up buying a 2019 Nissan Altima!!! Millie helped my husband and I pick out the perfect car. She went above and beyond of what was expected of her. We have some credit challenges, but that didn’t stop Millie from from finding a bank who would work with us!! We went to Platinum Pre-owned when they had a car we could use, size wise. Couldnt get it that day but a few weeks later the vehicle was still there. We told them wed be up the next day at a certain time to look it over again with intention to buy it. We went in and same sales person we dealt with the last time sold that car just before we got there. Never suggested we put a deposit on it. Then same sales person brings a brand new car up from Lancaster. We test drove it and asked them to show us the numbers. Over 45 minutes later still no manager and the numbers (who had a few staff meetings during this time & on his phone when I went to check how much more time) & our sales person left us sitting at their desk and went to talk to another person the whole time. The sales person was very friendly and went beyond normal to bring this car up but to let us sit there that length of time was beyond poor customer service. We left!

Worst car buying experience so far. Car is great, Millie was great. The rest of the experience just horrible. My fiancé went in for a car and was told he couldn’t get approved because he didn’t have a license and they needed a co-signer. I agreed to be a CO-SIGNER. Wanted my credit ran ONCE through the bank they already had approval for, they ran it 8 times. When the paperwork came out for us to sign, they put the car in my name primarily and put my fiancé as the co-signer. Didn’t mention any of this to us. Signed anyway because my fiancé needed a car. Now, months later I get a bill from pendot for $1,100. Trying to get an answer from the dealership and keep getting forwarded to voice mail, ignored, or put on hold when I call from a different number. They’ll take the call when I call from different numbers but not my own. Will never buy another car from Platinum

I was told things were fixed and changed that were absolutely not for only having the car for less then 3 months. The oil was so dirty, the tires are so dirty due to the brakes and rotors being cheap and never replaced. The after market tint was never removed after repeatedly requesting it. The people are nice yeah. But the car hasn’t been. Not pleased at all.
