Love a real brick and mortar book store, I could buy books online of course, but being able to browse and skim through books in person is so much better. Staff here is friendly and helpful.

I spend quite a lot of time in Barnes & Noble its just one of those stores that you could stay in for hours and look at all the different books!!! Plus it is also a place that you can still purchase CDs are they will order them for you in fact I will order anything that they carry for you if it is not in stock and I will even mail it to you if youre a member at no cost!!! Definitely one of my favorite places to shop!!! And I almost forgot they have the nicest Clerks I wont mention any names but there are three that are my favorite!!!

They have every book under the sun. Think Ive been here at least 45 times in the past. The staff wear masks and keep the city clean. The staff are quiet but friendly. Very open space.Cant say much about the Cafe as I havent been there before. Always forget to visit.If they dont have the cookbook style Im looking for I can always order and pick up. Nice folk. Nice store

The staff is really friendly and helpful if you look lost or confused theyll ask you if you need any help. Otherwise they leave you alone which I like in a bookstore.

Really unimoressed with the selection in the new age section which has been renamed and the art and craft section that felt like it had a lot of holes. And the restrooms were disgusting. Paper on the floor in both stalls and by the sinks. Paint scrapped and falling off the stalls as well. A broken soap dispenser and dirty sinks.

My daughter (early 30s) stated this location has the best selection of all genres of books: young adult, adult, A particularly good selection Virginia books, sight-seeing & hiking in Shenandoah Region

A bit of a smaller selection than other B&N stores Ive been to but still pretty good. Daughter says YA and Fantasy sections are pretty small. Nice cafe. Good service.

Everything was clean and organized, and the staff have no problem pointing you in the right direction of whatever youre looking for. The Starbucks in the store also was very quick and did a great job on our coffee.

Best Sales Associate Tori for her patience with my wife and I yesterday trying to find a book. Walked in to buy one, walked out with 5. Tori was very knowledgeable in all fields of interest we were looking for. If you happen to be in B&N in Harrisonburg and you’re looking for a particular book, ask for Tori!

My husband said the Mens bathroom was the worse hed ever seen and he has prostate problems so hes seen a lot ! I reported it to staff and they said it had been cleaned this morning. Looks like it should checked every hour !

Good Barnes and Noble with a friendly staff. Has a good selection, meaning it generally has the book I came in looking for. The music section is larger than a lot of B&Ns and there is a nice section of journals and planners. There is also an in-store Starbucks.

Ive not been in Barnes & Noble for many months due to recent events we are all experiencing. It was so nice to go in and enjoy a cup of joe with my daughter and then browse through all the wonderful books and other goodies they offer. I had a salted caramel mocha and that was sooo good and they also had some seasonal teas such as Cranberry Autumn and Pumpkin Spice Latte. Great way to relax and chill on this rainy day.

Had not been into one of these in a while and was surprised at the selection and other items available. Was a well kept store with plenty to discover. Did receive some help in locating the book I was looking for which was certainly a plus. The only part that I wasnt a fan of was the multiple sales pitches at the register for memberships and coffee.

The workers were so nice and went out of their way to find the book I was looking for! Great experience.

The starbucks here is very nice and a great place to stop and read your books. This morning they were out of my usual chai and the barista that was working, Jessica, had a great suggestion for an alternative that was absolutely great. Great customer service and will be returning

Barnes and Noble was great! A wide selection of books, games and arts and crafts items. Also a great CD, vinyl and DVD area. Great place to Christmas shop for the whole family.

I come here exclusively for board games and DnD products. So I can only speak on those. They have a very small selection of both.

They had an Awesome Record And CD Selection! me and my brother couldn’t find 2 specific CD’s We we’re looking for so We Asked a Man at the Counter and he was Really informative and helpful and polite definitely a Great Experience!

Was looking for a Topographical map they were very helpful but didnt know what I was asking for, said they could order one for me but didnt keep them in stock... I found the map before leaving the store.The issue is this younger generation depends on their mobile phones way to much for maps and not all roads are mapped.

I went in to pick up an order on line pick up in store item. The staff was quick to direct me where to go to pick up my order and it was ready as soon as I arrived. Very friendly service as always.

This is my favorite Book Store. I could and sometimes will spend hours in this store. They have such a great selection. Very friendly atmosphere. Love the big comfy chairs.

Was ok but employee could have been friendlier. Went to customer service desk to ask 2 questions. I believe the employees name was Clara that was working. She acted like she was being inconvenienced by having to look up a price of a book and answer a question about a coupon. The magazine selection was good.

I love Barns & Noble! This let all my expectations. Great environment for browsing books and an even better selection of books. I found a bunch of books that I have not been able to find at several other bookstores.

The store is always very neat with friendly knowledgeable staff. The prices are very expensive but sometimes that’s the only bookstore in this area that stocks books my teenager needs for school. The reason I gave the store only 2 stars is the fact I use coupons a lot but with Barnes and Noble they always have a reason they can’t except them. So my question each time - why do you have coupons if the customers can use them? Its always the same answer I’m sorry but.......

Brick and mortar book store with a wide selection of books, magazines, CDs and writing supplies. Also has a great coffee shop that serves Starbucks coffee. Highly recommended.

This store is my second home. I love it! The staff is super friendly and always helpful. When I needed recommendations for what books to read the staff was quick to jump to my side and provide helpful insight. My favorite place is the cafe, where the baristas not only work hard to make sure that you are welcome, but also suggest hot and frozen products that specially suite your taste! :)

This is a great place to grab a latte, sit, and read. Of course, its very hard for me to come here and not buy books. I also tend to run into people I know here. I guess thats one of the perks of living in a small town. :)

Visiting from out of town, needed a good book read while vacationing. Pleasant store to be in. Staff was friendly at the cafe where I got coffee. Staff was also helpful when I needed help finding a book, taking me right to it.

Liked displays of popular books in multiple categories at front of store. Say special prices if you you wanted to be member. At check out they offered me membership. Problem: it would cost me $25 a year dues to save $2.36 today. Which means Id have to buy books 1o times a year JUST to break even. Not a deal for this person.

A neat and well-maintained location of the national bookstore chain. Located at the corner of an open air mall-like shopping area (like two strip malls facing across a large parking lot).

Although the Christian book section lacks for me, the store holds a lot of geek merchandise with Doctor Who book series as well as sonic screwdriver replicas. The target customer is usually the college crowd, so theres a nice coffee shopette and lots of self-help or study-sheet books. The kids section is adorable with many toys and (if its still there) a Thomas the Tank Engine wooden model train track. Theres also a DVD and CD section that Ive personally never visited, but it looks very neat and organized. The layout of the fiction section is confusing. I think its split to be in the back near the kids section and then to the left as soon as you walk in, but Im still not sure. New releases make it here quickly. The only real problem is one that cannot be changed - the large cost of books. Always quiet and a calming atmosphere. The staff is very helpful. I bought all my book Christmas gifts here.

I dont like cashiers who flip through the books I buy and ruffle the pages. Especially when its the last book. And STOP asking me every 10 seconds if I want your store card. NO MEANS NO.
