We always enjoy a visit to Bella Gelato for a treat. The coffee is decent, the pastries are outstanding and the place is clean and relaxed. The best part was that my daughter treated me!

Their Gelato is consistently good, never had a flavor I didnt like. The desserts in the glass case are always delicious as well. The staff is always friendly, patient, and helpful. I get anxious making decisions, but they make it a comfortable atmosphere.Highly recommend for a coffee stop or a quick dessert after a meal. Never been disappointed.

This dessert is fantastic. I had the sorbet. There are so many choices. Also, they offer dairy free options. Enjoy! It’s good to the last spoonful.

Love that Harrisonburg has this spot. They use a lot of local ingredients, have dairy free options, make great coffee drinks, have a wonderful selection of truly special pastries and even do special orders. I just ordered a gluten free berry ganache cheesecake and can not wait to try it.

Chocolate Torte tasted like cardboard. Scone tasted like cardboard.The gelato is fantastic though.Go to Sugar & Bean in Bridgewater for baked goods. They wont let you down.

Went here tonight and omg was it amazing! my mom and i went here looking for a dairy free ice cream and i think we found the best place out there! the staff was wearing a mask and was very happy to answer are questions and just was very friendly. they also had seating available which was socially distant. we both got the coconut almond sorbet and it was so delicious! we got one small and one medium. as well as 2 vegan cookies (which we have not yet had yet but they look amazing). the total was $12 which is pretty good for 2 ice creams and 2 large cookies. definitely recommend trying if you are in the area!

Holy crow! Havent had gelato this good in so long. Probably as good as the one I had in Rome itself. The only hard part for me here was choosing which flavours to get. After a lot of deliberation I chose mint, pistachio and coffee and they were all beyond amazing. The ambience of this place is really cute and chic and the servers are super polite. Loved the place. Must visit!!!

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!! Their Gelato is delicious. Flavors change. I had the candied lemon & cardamom. AMAZING!!! Customer service top notch! Their espresso DELICIOUS!! High quality freshly baked goods! I purchased Amaretti cookies (gluten free made with almond flour) & snickerdoodle (not gluten free). I also got chai latte (you can also get cold version). Don’t pass this place up!!!!! WOW!!!

The name says gelato, but they are so much more than just a purveyor of ice creamy goodness.To begin, everything is made fresh daily. Im referring to the best baked breads and sweetbreads in town. Muffins, bars, cookies, and more. Oh-em-gee they are delish. My favs are the bars. Especially their lavender and the Earl greys.And to was it all down: coffees, milks, and sodas. The workers arent just the finest bakers, theyre wonderful baristas as well. Plan to come and go, though as seating is limited with just a few tables..

First time ever trying out this place and let me tell you...... it was freakin delicious. It was sooo good and beats regular ice cream without a doubt. They have a lot a flavors but I tried the good ol’ orange sherbet and that was sooooo tasty. So yes I would recommend this Gem to others.

Thought Id have to make time to get here in the afternoon for Gelato but dont sleep on their pastries! Breakfast here is a treat with everything baked in house. Coffee is a solid 7/10: anyone who frequents Starbucks or another chain should be able to find something good here.

Went here last weekend for the first time. The lemon cardamom was WONDERFUL as were the other flavors we chose. The staff were really nice and let us try a couple of samples. The prices were reasonable. I cant wait to go back and try the other flavors of their Gelato. Definitely recommend!

I ordered a custom dessert - Id had a pastry in Italy that I adored and my fiance & I wanted it for our wedding! The pastry was crispy. The cream was perfect and light. Kaila replicated it beautifully with just my description to go off of. I cant say enough good things about her & the rest of the team at Bella Gelato. My first visit was really great - the sweet gal at the registered recommended what she thought my husband and I would enjoy the most (it was a hot day so we ended up with a scoop of sweet cream with expresso poured over it) YUM - very good!! THAT GIRL GETS 5 STARS! She said they had the best coffee downtown - so I came back with a friend before work the next day ..... needless to say the service was lacking and we were late to work because it legit took 20 minutes for the girl behind the counter to make 2 lattes .. AND it wasnt the best in downtown Harrisonburg either .. I think I will stick with Black Sheep.

DELICIOUS gelato, scrumptious baked goods, and a wonderful atmosphere for catching up with friends (or people watching)! My husband and I are here at least 3 times a week. Their drip coffee is strong and very reasonably priced, and their lattés are wonderful as well. Highly recommend!

One of the best chocolate brownie sundaes ever my 13 year old son. High praise, the brownie was very very good, and the gelato with it was amazing. Service was friendly, despite the crowd.

Ill be honest: I prefer the style of Klines, but I do catch myself craving this fancier fare every so often. The gelato isnt the worlds best, but its competent, and they do interesting flavors. Brown butter cookie dough is my favorite. A bit too expensive for what you get perhaps, but I keep coming back.

Still one of my favorite places to get homemade lavender ice cream and yummy croissants and danishes

I love this place! Its such a cute shop and the gelato is amazing.

Tasty gelato and pastries. All made in-house. The guy with the man-bun was especially awesome. We really loved the unique flavors like fig marsala. Were on vacation so probably wont be back anytime soon, but will definitely recommend it any of my friends come this direction.

Pastries, bread, gelato, coffee, and soda! Lots of good treats here and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop in even just to look at the picture perfect deserts.Its a short hop away from the various restaurants on the main street.

My twins go to JMU and they told me about this place. The gelato was wonderful! They had a wide variety of flavors and they had great service too! We tryed a few flavors and made selections. They have indoor seating that was a helpful on a cold day in Harrisonburg. Great place for families, good atmosphere!!
