The owner generously spent his time trying to help me an reuse old packing box that was too small for the merchandise, but would have saved me the expense of buying one of his own boxes! In several visits to his store, he has been consistently pleasant and courteous. This type of service gives Harrisonburg the title of “The Friendly City!”

The associates of this store will try to charge you for shipping materials if you are trying to return an Amazon order. In spite of the Amazon policy they will tell you that they cant ship an item back without a box or shipping label. I believe they expect college students to just cave to the demands and purchase the overpriced shipping materials they sell.

I’m not sure if the person “helping” us was on drugs or what, but he was horribly rude, didn’t listen, didn’t answer our question, and just laughed randomly at us. When we asked him why he was laughing he just laughed more and still didn’t help us. When I spoke with the manager/owner he at first didn’t even acknowledge my complaint and then when I said something a second time he did nothing but mumble sorry. I do not recommend this store. It was such an uncomfortable situation I will never be back!

I run a vintage clothing company and as such, I purchase and have things shipped from estates all over the country. I work quite often with UPS stores and am almost always irritated by my experience. This store - and the man who runs it - are exceptions to that rule. Peter was totally professional, clear and responsive from start to finish. I knew what was happening and what to expect at every step of the way, and received my goodies on time and packed thoughtfully. Id work with him a hundred times over if given the opportunity.

I was staying in Virginia weeks. I requested that My prescription glasses were sent to this store from my home location so I could receive them faster while I was staying in the area of Harrisonburg.Long story short- I had to leave Virginia without my glasses because I was an unable to get to this UPS location before I needed to leave. After speaking with the company my glasses were purchased from, and UPS customer support, I called this store directly and left a message. Mr Brown (who must own this location franchise) called me back within 5 minutes. There was nothing but smooth sailing from that point. He explained everything within depth, and the quickest least expensive option for getting them to me. He explained every fee that I would be charged thoroughly. To be honest I dont think my family doctor explains things better than Mr Brown did. Great customer service!!! I dont think Ive experienced customer service like the one the store provided in years.

They packed up and shipped many breakable family pieces of China and crystal. Each piece was placed inside a plastic bag, wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside its own special made box. From VA to CO I received each piece in PERFECT condition. Many thanks!!

Peter, the store owner, is one of the most standup businessmen I have ever met. After just two visits, he remembered my face and welcomed my presence. Every time, he took the time to outline the different options I had. One time, he even went as far as to follow up with me via email with a confirmation after I had to leave the store in a rush. I would go here over any other store or service every time, if I could!

Peter from this store went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me. I delayed a package to pick it up at, what I assumed to be this store, but it turned out that it delayed at a warehouse in Fisherville VA. Peter Brown worked with me over the phone to get it arranged to come to this store. Also due to the weather the package was delayed in Fisherville an additional day. I tried this UPS store and the other on in Harrisonburg VA, I do not think this store compares to the other, I was very unsatisfied with the service I received here. Also the employees could not answer the questions i had clearly. To me the location is terrible and the parking situation is much much worse, and is so inconvenient. I did not have a good experience at this store and would Not recommend it to anybody.
